. . . You've got to be fucking kidding me? The look Kiyoshi was giving his uncle was something between angry glare and stunned disbelief, and probably made him look pretty stupid, but he couldn't careless right now. Not only had his Uncle Hatsumo come back home after 4 years of fuckin' around doing who knows what, then coming back like nothing had happened, but he was also taking Kiyoshi on a super classified mission that was way above his fuckin' pay-grade and likely to get him fucking killed. He was a genin. A fuckin' Genin! What in the fuck is he doing anywhere near a mission involving a Biju?!?!?! What was his position on the team supposed to be; body-bag filler?!?! This was insane! He was going to die! Everything that could go wrong was going to go wrong in the worst possible way because who ever thought that putting him in this kind of team must've suffered from a temporary attack of completely inane stupidity.

If the Shinigami's coming for my head, I've got to do my best to make him work for it. Okay, rundown on supplies: Got full set of Suppression, Full Set of Explosion, Full set of Smoke, A bunch of regular arrows, bunch of kunai, a bunch of shuriken, my back-up bow, and my back-up, back-up bow, and a whole bunch of explosive tags. Not sure how useful this'll be, though if I remember correctly, Uncle Hotsuma uses fire style jutsus, so that'll be good with my Smoke Arrows. As for the others . . .

As one part of his mind started going through the various ways he could possibly get kicked out of the shinobi force by their, frankly speaking, right-bitch of a Hokage, he continued talking to the others in his group, trying to come up with some sort of plan that would help keep them all alive. "I'm an archer, use a bow to shoot arrows enhanced by fuinjutsu at people, and for the ones I have now, Fire and Lightning jutus would be good to have, the latter especially, so the two of you wouldn't happen to have an affinity for them, would you?"

Kiyoshi's early life, while hard, wasn't completely miserable like it might've been for some others. Thanks to his clan's abilities with Fuinjutsu, Uzushiogakure was able to stave off the worst of the cold and save some of their resources during the initial blizzards. They still struggled like the rest of the nation, as the village was somewhat reliant on trade for their food, leading to many shortages, they suffered less in the way of losses then the rest of the elemental nations.

As a result of this, Kiyoshi was able to devote much time to his favorite past time:Fuinjutsu. While Winter raged in the world, Kiyoshi stayed inside of his home, hardly ever leaving the confines of the clan compound as he indulged himself in his studies. As soon as he could read, he was studying Fuinjutsu, treating every manuel and scroll that he was allowed to read on the subject with the reverence of a holy book. He devoured every scrapp of knowledge that the Uzumaki elders handed to him on the subject, quickly showing his prodigious aptitude for the art, if nothing else. The only other thing he showed any talent in was Archery, and even then it seemed like it was only because his mother wanted him to do something physical, lest he wast away.

Unlike his brother Idarama, Kiyoshi had little intention of being a shinobi, instead wanting to better the world with his creations, perhaps offer others some of the grand levels of fuinjutsu that kept Uzushiogakure wam and safe from the winter's icy grip. Sadly, fate soon decided that him having a happy life as a fuinjutsu master was too easy, and pushed him off a cliff and into the abyss of tragedy. To this day, Kiyoshi doesn't know who was behind the Crimson Tides, nor does he remember what the attackers looked like very well, as the attack had taken place in the late night and he'd been fairly young, around 9 years old, when it happened. What he did remember, however, haunts him to this day. Blood splattered hallways, the bodies of his family and friends littering the hallways, from the oldest elder to the youngest newborn. The screams of his clansmen getting murdered followed him to bed every night until he was 14, and even now he can still here them from time to time, though he doesn't tell anybody. The massacre of the Main Branch of the Uzumaki clan was swift, vicious, and efficient, the only ones left alive afterwards from the main branch being him and Idarama. Some of the other branch members also managed to get away from that bloody night, but the mainline of the Uzumaki clan was now on the cusp of extinction.

His family just barely managed to escape the carnage thanks to the efforts of his mother and their cousin, Atsuko, but Kiyoshi was deeply scarred by the event. What remained of the Uzumaki clan immigrated to the home village of their matriarch and the Village they had planned to ally with as war began to break out in the era of Permafrost, Konohagakure. It was here that Kiyoshi began his training to become a ninja, as he grew to hate his own weakness in being unable to protect his family, as well as fearful that they might be taken from him once again, especially his mother and brother. However, while his Fuinjutsu skill was far and beyond any other student, and even some adults, his skills in other areas of ninjutsu were somewhat lacking, to say the least, especially given the new strict guidelines. He was held back an entire year in order to work on his taijutu, while his ninjutsu was deemed almost hopeless on it's own. He eventually managed to pass, if by just the skin of his teeth, but by then the war was over, the cold had receded and with it most of the desires to fight, though old tensions till ran hot. As such, Kiyoshi avoided the horrors of the war, but still found himself overwhelmed by some of the tasks that came after it, though he never stopped trying his best. During the year prior, Kiyoshi's been passed around a few genin teams, but none of them seemed to be a proper fit for the young shinobi, not that he minded too much. Ever since coming to Konoha, he's avoided talking to anyone outside of his family as much as possible, especially those on his team. He doesn't want to have to live through seeing close friends die ever again, and it's maddening enough with just worrying about the family he has, as Kiyoshi's constantly terrified of one day getting news that his brother or one of his other family members had been killed when he wasn't there to help protect them.

The Uzumaki Clan is the founding clan of Uzushiogakure, the Village Hidden by Whirling Tides, and has been a significant ninja clan since pretty much their inception. Another, darker facet of this dream is his desire to scavenge what he can from his home, in hopes that he can rediscover the schematics for a certain seal that his old master said would be able to call upon the Shinigami himself, though it was still very incomplete. If he could ever get his hand on it, then maybe, just maybe. . .

Kiyoshi is a long-to-mid range combatant that prefers to pepper foes from afar with arrows then get up-close in personal. While his base Ninjutsu skills aren't that great, by mixing them together with his knowledge of sealing techniques he can cause quite a bit of havoc on the battlefield for his allies to take advantage of. Another useful skill that Kiyoshi possess is that he's a master of multi-tasking, able to keep his focus on a bunch of different things at the same time, which helps him make better decisions tactically on who to assist in a fight. While definitely a valuable ally to have in a team, in one on one combat, Kiyoshi often resorts to distraction and evasive maneuvers in order to escape, as he has very little in his arsenal to deal with opponents up-close, and he lacks the offensive power to take his foes down quickly without assistance.

This can be used to either move very quickly from side to side, or even propel him high into the air in order to evade an attack or escape from a particularly nasty foe.

This durable wooden bow is one of several that Kiyoshi has on hand with storage seals, up to 3 on his person at any time, and is able to hit almost any target he can see with them. Along the middle of the bow, where the arrows are drawn, their is an activator seal, which Kiyoshi uses instead of handsigns in order to activate the seals he places on his arrows. This allows him to continue firing without stop, as the seal activates on a timer. This timer is determined by how long the shot is held against the activator, the longer the wait the longer it's held.

In order to make the best of his skills, Shizuku has made a variety of special arrows, usually about 15 or so of each if he's had time to properly prep, which are each placed within their own respective storage seals. Also, can only hold about three types at any time, not including just regular arrows, other wise it get's too confusing to keep track of which seal hold which type of arrow. His current total list include:

• Explosive Arrows: These arrows hold the power of 4 explosive tags, with the only tell-tale sign of the explosion being the sight of the shaft giving off small trails of smoke before it blows up.
• Suppression Arrows: These arrows create a burst of fuinjutsu-infused chakra when the seal is released. The radius of the burst is around 5-8 meters, and anyone caught by it would feel as if their entire body is being weighed down heavily, glowing red seal runes flaring to life on their body to signify them being effected. Their ability to use chakra will also be somewhat restricted, and moves requiring higher levels of control will require much more focus then normal. The seals can be broken, however, in a way similar to genjutsu by just flaring one's chakra. However, since most will likely not know this fact to begin with, it can still get some valid use in. These runes also have an added effect if the target is hit by any Lightning jutsu, as the sealing runes will help to spread the charge through out their body, possibly paralyzing them, if only momentarily, if the attack is strong enough. The seal, while strong, only lasts for about 3 posts, however, and it has a less noticeable effects on stronger opponents
• Jet Stream Arrows: The seals on these arrows activates immediately, a stream of air speeding the arrow along at high speeds towards the target, slamming into the target with a great force. The arrow will always fly straight and true, no matter the weather. They also leave behind a stream of pressurized air leading directly to the target, making them great for collaboration with Fire, Water, and some Earth jutsu, along with any other form of projectile attacks.
• Smoke Arrows: Simple and to the point, after a set amount of time or after it's made impact, the seal will spew forth a copious amount of thick black ash-laden smoke. It spreads quickly, encompassing an area of around 5-10 meters, and lingers for about 2-3 posts in an open area, and double that within an enclosed space before it disperses. Wind style jutsu can be used to instantly disperse it or redirect it somewhere else. This smoke is also highly combustible, allowing for lightning and Fire jutsu to easily light it up for a pretty big explosion.
• Vacuum Arrows: Useful both for both offense and utility, these arrows possess a seal that siphons all of the area within a certain area, creating a momentary vacuum with a radius of around 5 meters. This sudden loss of air is likely to cause extreme pain in the effected individual, as it'll even take the air from their own lungs, leaving them gasping for breath and vulnerable. This arrow is especially effective when mixed with earth based jutsu's that can trap a target in an air tight space with the arrow, suffocating them almost instantly, and leaving them very little time to find away to escape. It's also good for countering lower level Fire jutsus, sucking away the fuel source in order to either extinguish or weaken them, depending on the jutsu in question.

By letting loose a short blast of air from their hands, Kiyoshi is able to fly in the opposing direction with considerable force. This can be used to either move very quickly from side to side, or even propel him high into the air in order to evade an attack or escape from a particularly nasty foe.

This durable wooden bow is one of several that Kiyoshi has on hand with storage seals, up to 3 on his person at any time, and is able to hit almost any target he can see with them. Along the middle of the bow, where the arrows are drawn, their is an activator seal, which Kiyoshi uses instead of handsigns in order to activate the seals he places on his arrows. This allows him to continue firing without stop, as the seal activates on a timer. This timer is determined by how long the shot is held against the activator, the longer the wait the longer it's held.

In order to make the best of his skills, Shizuku has made a variety of special arrows, usually about 15 or so of each if he's had time to properly prep, which are each placed within their own respective storage seals. Also, can only hold about three types at any time, not including just regular arrows, other wise it get's too confusing to keep track of which seal hold which type of arrow. His current total list include:

• Explosive Arrows: These arrows hold the power of 4 explosive tags, with the only tell-tale sign of the explosion being the sight of the shaft giving off small trails of smoke before it blows up.
• Suppression Arrows: These arrows create a burst of fuinjutsu-infused chakra when the seal is released. The radius of the burst is around 5-8 meters, and anyone caught by it would feel as if their entire body is being weighed down heavily, glowing red seal runes flaring to life on their body to signify them being effected. Their ability to use chakra will also be somewhat restricted, and moves requiring higher levels of control will require much more focus then normal. The seals can be broken, however, in a way similar to genjutsu by just flaring one's chakra. However, since most will likely not know this fact to begin with, it can still get some valid use in. These runes also have an added effect if the target is hit by any Lightning jutsu, as the sealing runes will help to spread the charge through out their body, possibly paralyzing them, if only momentarily, if the attack is strong enough. The seal, while strong, only lasts for about 3 posts, however, and it has a less noticeable effects on stronger opponents
• Jet Stream Arrows: The seals on these arrows activates immediately, a stream of air speeding the arrow along at high speeds towards the target, slamming into the target with a great force. The arrow will always fly straight and true, no matter the weather. They also leave behind a stream of pressurized air leading directly to the target, making them great for collaboration with Fire, Water, and some Earth jutsu, along with any other form of projectile attacks.
• Smoke Arrows: Simple and to the point, after a set amount of time or after it's made impact, the seal will spew forth a copious amount of thick black ash-laden smoke. It spreads quickly, encompassing an area of around 5-10 meters, and lingers for about 2-3 posts in an open area, and double that within an enclosed space before it disperses. Wind style jutsu can be used to instantly disperse it or redirect it somewhere else. This smoke is also highly combustible, allowing for lightning and Fire jutsu to easily light it up for a pretty big explosion.
• Vacuum Arrows: Useful both for both offense and utility, these arrows possess a seal that siphons all of the area within a certain area, creating a momentary vacuum with a radius of around 5 meters. This sudden loss of air is likely to cause extreme pain in the effected individual, as it'll even take the air from their own lungs, leaving them gasping for breath and vulnerable. This arrow is especially effective when mixed with earth based jutsu's that can trap a target in an air tight space with the arrow, suffocating them almost instantly, and leaving them very little time to find away to escape. It's also good for countering lower level Fire jutsus, sucking away the fuel source in order to either extinguish or weaken them, depending on the jutsu in question.
