Nuzlocke Status Report: Sandra and Simon have teamed up with their first catch, Joel the Pikipek, and are getting ready to go to the Trainer School.

X-Com 2 Status Report: Rocket, Path, and Arch are all still alive, with Arch being the highest ranked person I have. Around 9 missions under his belt, he's a Specialist with the Codename Warden, cause he saves people's asses all day with his Gremlin buddy. Path and Rocket are heavies, or Grenadiers, and are both doing well, with Path getting the codename Nova for his time on the field. Also, I think I might have to start from scratch soon because the Avatar Project is just 4-5 ticks away from completion and I'm feeling a bit under-prepped. Oh, and Rocket's got an exo-suit. Cheers!

@Archmage MCI've heard about it from my PC playing friends, but again, Console bound for the foresee-able future. Sounds neat though.

I also wasn't such a little whiny bitch. Noibat noted internally, rolling her eyes at the other pokemon's cowering. No longer seeing the Shinx as a possible threat, she was thinking of just ditching him a heading off, seeing as she didn't have much longer before she had to go back to Rasa. However, the inquisivtive questions of the electric-type brought her thoughts back around, along with a narrow glare at their insinuation. It was instinctive, the thought of getting anything from a human being enough to make her blood boil, but she schooled herself in her response, not wanting to explode on the brat for something that wasn't his fault.

"No, no one gave it to me. I nicked it off a human in the city. Can't really read it or anything, but it's nice and might sell for some good money." The lie flowed off her tongue as fluid as the truth ever did, Noibat's pride being too great to allow her to admit to the fate that she was some trainer's pet. Besides, the likely hood of her seeing this whiny little electric type were incredibly low, so she saw no problem with lying to him about how she came upon the watch. "Anyway Sparky, anything else you want to ask me, because I've got places to be and your taking up my time here. Perhaps you should get to kicking Caterpie around, might toughen you up a little bit. . . or they might start kicking your ass." Noibat chuckled to herslef as the thought of the kid getting beat up by Caterpie of all thins popped into her head. She doubted he was that weak, and she knew she was being a total bitch right now, but the kid had chosen the wrong time to bother her and his ego was going to have to suffer for it.

@Archmage MCDrifters is nice, by the guy who did Hellsing and has great action and awesomely badass characters. Nanbaka is goofy, yet ineteresting, and while I haven't finished it, I found it to be very enjoyable.

@Archmage MCI know, I've already finished Sun. This was definitely the most difficult of the recently pokemon games, and it's really dangerous for Nuzlocke because of the S.O.S. mechanic. I'm mostly worried about dealing with Hapu again, because I was stupid last time and didn't have a good grass type to fight her with. Fuckin' Slug tank kept using restore and shit. Dragged on for a while before I was able to finish them off.

@pyromanSame here, and good luck. I love Nuzlocke's because you get invested in pokemon you might not have cared for before . . . and then feel real heartbreak when your stupidity gets them killed.

@PathfinderI enjoy the challenge and how I genuinely bond with the pixelated creatures(I sill never forget my Glavantula, William, from my Black 2 run. He, somehow, died in a fuckin' water gym. I don't remember how, but It still hurts whenever I think about it.) Also, I had litten as my started too in my Sun game, and I had planned to name them El Tigre after the awesome cartoon of the same name. . . but then 'he' turned out to be a she, so I had to switch to La Tigresa. Not a bad name, but it was a bit disappointing at first. Also, I love Incineroar's Z move, it's probably the coolest out of the Starter specific ones.

My favorite pokemon is probably Haxorus, because I had a great one in my nuzlocke and I love the design of them. If I could have one of my own, I'd do it in a heartbeat, potential safety hazards be damned!

Question for the gallery, what do you think of the story and characters of Sun/Moon(so far if you haven't finished and no spoilers if you have)? I think it's one of, if not the best pokemon games in those regards, and I like how the story isn't as grand scale as every pokemon game since Ruby/Sapphire. It's much more personal, and I think that shows in how all the characters are. I also like how much of a breath of fresh air it is for the Pokemon main franchise, and I hope that whatever comes out next is able to keep this trend going.
