It's not that I had no faith in you, and I'm sorry if it feels that way. I just saw a problem and thought of a way to fix it, that way being Jaden asking his Uncle for help, which came in the form of Max. And as a side note, Max's actions don't reflect on Jaden at all, because Max isn't Jaden's pokemon. He wasn't going to chase the guy down for Jaden, but for his own self-interest because he himself is curious about their operation. Telling Jaden were they were based would've been a side thing he did just because he was going to show them anyway. But Max is done and gone with, so that's that. I'm not trying to outwit you or plotting against you, that was never my intention and I'm sorry if it came across this way.

As for Max's use in the story in general, everything regarding him is coming from me, 100%. As Salt said, they had nothing to do with him and the main reason I asked was because of some miscommunication between us in the Collab and that's on me and me alone.

I'm sorry for causing you any undue stress because of my suggestions and actions and hope we can put this all behind us. Max won't go after the kid, Seth and Jaden will. Simple as that. Is there anything else that needs to be addressed that I might've missed or that my response has brought up?

@Holy SoldierMax's point was to lead them to Vix, as he's a high level psychic type and thus lead them to her with little trouble. He could also pull the information from the guy's head for specifics and give them to Seth and Jaden, which would ensure the mention doesn't go to waste, though that be the extent of him helping the duo in their adventures.

I thought I made his general purpose clear earlier when I posted with him, but if not then I apologize for the confusion. He was jiust a tool to point Jaden and Seth in the right direction after Seth collects Z, as long with helping to characterize Jaden and his Uncle, as well as their relationship.

Noibat's contemplation on her current situation was cut short as some kid came up to her, somehow impressed by how she had kick the tar out of Caterpies. Noibat gave him a rather incredulous, before letting out a sigh of irritation. I'm so not in the mood for this. . .

"One, I didn't ask stupid questions, and Two, I didn't get excite over somebody beating up Caterpie. Suckers are pitifully weak, and only really have String Shot and Tackle as attacks around here. It's literally nothing to be impressed about. Rolling her shoulders a bit, Noibat looked the kid over, noting how he smelled of forest and ozone. "I'm also got Dragon Typing, so don't thing you can get one over on me, Sparky. Try something, and I'll put you flat on your bony behind before you can say 'ow'.
