4 months into this hole 'being a responsible adult thing' and I've come to a conclusion: It sucks and I want to go back to the days where I didn't have to plan out my game time.

Cerys awakening came slowly, the aching from the blow to her head echoing through her head as she slowly pushed herself up from the floor. The floor of a cage, as she would soon come to realize as she fully came to her senses. Looking around the room, her elven eyes easily cut through the dim lighting as she observed the area outside of her imprisonment. Luckily, or perhaps unluckily, she was not alone in her imprisonment. Through the dusk she could easily spy several other figures, all of them being rather chatty. Too chatty, especially with the sounds of approaching footsteps coming from a nearby corridor.

"I would advise that you all shut up and that you get back into your cages. As the human stated, we have company, and I'd rather not have them bring in reinforcements seeing him out and about." Cerys' pointed towards the larger human that seemed to have the key and was freeing the others. Whether or not the other's followed her advice, the drow would turn her attention to towards the corridor, reaching out with her mind, calling to something only she could hear. The shadows around her seemed to pulsate slightly as her patron responded, a dark whispering entering her mind as she let the magical energy flow through her for a moment, before releasing it with a breath. Good, so i can still use magic. That makes thinks significantly easier, though now I have to hope that the others don't call down a horde upon my head.

@Leslie Hall Thank ye. Still need to finish up the backstory with a paragraph or two, but it's basically finito.
Hmmm, I wouldn't say so personally, since Aura control would likely be something he'd be used to. experimental or not, Silme has been using this weapon for a while now, it's just that he's missing his usual handy-man to fix what he can't understand. He's likely got the aura use down by now, even if it does make him feel a bit sick everytime he uses it.
@tobiaxI mean, if you have another idea, I'm open to it. As for the invebtor, it was basically a rejected prototype Atlas weapon that one of his teacher's let him have due to his own trouble with weapon creation, and was a bit of a pet project between him and one of his brainier teammates. So original inventor is not really a factor, but his teammate was a bit of a weapon maniac and wanted to make something to help capitalize on Silme's fighting style, and so altered the original design a bit to better fit him, as well as adding in the dust fubctionality.
Quite possibly, ye. Best he can do against the grim with his gauntlets as they are is knock them around a bit.
Fair, and oof. Still, hits a bit to close to home for his liking. Shich is going to make fixibg his gear even more of a chore. [S]when your throwaway intro post problem lands you in deep trouble several posts later[s]
Posted, and had Silme hold himself back since i don't want to interrrupt your guy's chat. Otherwise, Silme would've likely gone full dick right now.
Silme

"Still, don't take this mission lightly. This isn't training or supervised combat anymore. There's real danger out here now. We can't afford to make mistakes that could get us or other people killed."

Silme froze at those words, the glare he levied after her a mix between disbelief and smoldering anger. He took a step towards her for a moment, almost as if he was going to confront her on the matter, but seemed to think better of it, contenting himself with another glare as he levied his response. "Trust me, I'm well aware of how dangerous Grimm could be. My old team made quite sure of that, remember?" His voice carried none of the usual passion behind it, only cold, barely held back anger as he turned away from her to walk off in a random direction. He needed to put space between them before he did something drastic that he would regret. His eyes glanced skyward, noting the descending sun with a feeling of dread, forcing himself to take deep breaths. It's fine. You can get through this. You'll be just fine.

A few more deep breaths, and Silme had managed to calm himself down, though anyone could see that he was growing fidgety and impatient, his foot-tapping rapidly against the ground as he turn his head to glance at the rest of the group present. "Can we just get the fuck on with this already?! We can walk and talk as we go, so let just get the hell out of here."
