Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

@PKMNB0Y Going to do something other than follow them, or should I just post?
Let's see where this goes.

I christen you "Lord Vague".
.
The general idea is that, for reasons unknown to the characters, there is some powerful force that really wants to see them dead. Since the characters don't have anything obvious in common, it's not that easy to determine what exactly is causing them to be sought out. All that they know is that some enormously powerful individual wants to see particular people dead, despite not causing mass collateral damage.

In other words? Fantasy mashup setting, most things will fit in. But the PC's are on the mid-low range of the spectrum, and someone on par with any legendary hero really wants them dead for some reason. They don't know why. It's obvious that (after their first encounter) they don't stand a chance trying to fight them off as it is. Their choice? Find out why, or get strong enough to defeat their hunter. At least they seem to be content to walk rather than run... or just have a lot of targets.

So... basically an odd combination of fantasy, survival horror in places, and possibly dungeon-crawling level-grinding. Anyone up for it?
Then it is up to Saten. OI, BASEBALL BAT GIRL.
@RolePlayerRoxas BAKA got anything to say? :P
Bridget Carran

With Archer off placing her surveillance rocks, Bridget turned her attention back to her current living quarters and preparing for the war in general. It was unlikely anyone that wasn't a magus would even notice the house; she'd set up a bounded field to deter people from paying it any heed before even preparing to summon a Servant. Her current task, then, was to make sure that if it came to it, she could abandon the place in one go and hopefully deal with any intruders.

In practice, this meant that all it would take was a little bit of energy to one of the symbols laced into the whole thing, and an inferno would consume the building and anyone unfortunate enough to be caught in it. Bridget had no plans for that to be her, since those particular runes were by the doors.

The Other Saber

The Servant displayed no visible reaction to the disarmament of the supposedly 'peaceful' nuns. The church bearing arms was far from a strange thought, stranger that his Master's entourage were armed and she had no awareness of the fact. An added layer of protection for his Master was not unwelcome. This, then, lead him to take weaponry only from the most heavily armed of the sisters, grasping the rifle and the machete before catching up to Phoebe, falling in line by her shoulder.

The modernity of the weapons would, Saber presumed, shroud his identity from the others even further than his abilities already did. Even his class could hardly be determined with the two unusual weapons.
Fight at the Edge of Town

As always, it was frustrating when something appeared to just shrug off being punched in the gut. Admittedly, that was more often particularly nasty Deathclaws or people who'd acquired power armour than cute magical girls, but it was rather depressing to see said cute girl regenerate the damage entirely.

Though as it turned out, bracing for her revenge mostly resulted in a gust of hot wind causing her coat to billow dramatically. It was unpleasant, moreso on top of the omnipresent dry heat from their surroundings, and if kept up could probably have done some actual damage. As it was, the worst that she was expecting was reddened skin that would be back to normal in a few minutes.

The bird thing was scarier, but it was still... a bird. Even big.

"Are you sure this is worth it? You have a bird and some magical tricks. We've got guns, advantaced technology, reptile lady, and numbers," the white haired courier stated, walking forwards ominously. Maybe she could just talk the girl into giving in? It wasn't likely, but other than 'punch her until it sticks or she changes her mind' there weren't many alternatives that Rain felt she could take part in, "Do you think this is going to end well for you?"
Excellent! I may now... exposite.
Alleyway

"Ah, good. I'd probably hurt you trying for peaceful subdual," the girl cheerfully admitted, pointing to her left, further down the alleyway, and allowing the flames to peter out, "Stay ahead of me, and follow my directions if you don't want to be burnt, poisoned, choked, or simply hit from behind. I'm not some untrained rookie that only has their power."

Shirai Kuroko

Kuroko seemed quite happy to be on top of Mikoto... even if this was in the middle of the street. For once, though, the girl didn't have to be electrocuted off of her senior, apparently having something important enough to convey that it was best to do it before being fried.

"Onee-sama, have you bought a new dress? The gala is tonight and your old one is still stained," the twintailed teleporter asked, apparently having found out about the current condition of the railgun's formal attire and circumstantial evidence that even advanced technology didn't have the perfect ability to remove stains from a white outfit, or at least not easily. Not that she should have forgotten, as it was Kuroko's fault that it had gotten stained in the first place.
