Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

And I posted finally!

I... really hope you aren't expecting a fast response.
Tachibana Hibiki

Hibiki took waking up in a strange city mysteriously in stride. To be entirely truthful, it could be because it wasn't the first time she'd woken up somewhere that she hadn't expected to be, but since that had been in a hospital it was already an improvement. More importantly, though, was that she had been in class as far as she could remember. So to go from trying to pay attention to a lesson to an unfamiliar city full of food presented a clear and immediate explanation... she'd fallen asleep before lunch and her mind was making up for an empty stomach.

Satisfied with her explanation for the apparent weirdness going on, the schoolgirl brushed dust from her uniform and set about looking for the food that would have to be here somewhere, if this was her dream, in amongst the rather empty campus. It didn't take much looking around to find what looked like the best candidate: a tree festooned with bento, along with a few others who'd obviously had similar ideas. The inexplicably purple creature almost made Hibiki worry about Noise for a second, but the lack of disintegrating things, its obvious solidness, and the lack of glowing ruled it out.

So she went straight for the bento, and the rice that would undoubtedly be inside, only thinking to ask the apparent dream-occupant that was in the tree at the last second, with a nervous laugh, "Is this your tree?"
I'll get a post up after I've had dinner... though I'm not sure 'dinner' is accurate given that I won't be eating it until gone midnight.

Meanwhile, I feel I may have signed up with the wrong Symphogear character. D:
  • Name: Tachibana Hibiki
  • Universe: Zesshou Senki Symphogear
  • Personality: Hibiki is friendly, optimistic sort, who likes to help people and dislikes, well, fighting them. Thus making her first priority when fighting a person to generally be 'try and talk it out'. On the down side, it's actually quite easy to upset her, and Hibiki's quite able to sulk.
  • Powers/Skills: Through training that seems to be a mix of actual training and watching martial arts movies, Hibiki has somehow become proficient (though nowhere near as proficient as her boss) at fighting with her bare hands. She's also pretty okay at singing. Otherwise, however... well, Hibiki's a goof. She's not really a big girl, either, so not even that dangerous under normal conditions.
  • Equipment: The only piece of equipment that Hibiki owns are the fragments of Gungnir that happen to be buried inside her chest. Activated by singing, these create what can only be described as magitech armour, amplifying physical abilities but, in Hibiki's case, lacking a unique weapon. Instead, she mostly punches things. Fortunately, these punches can be spring amplified... or outright have rocket boosts. She's also got springs on her legs, which unsurprisingly means she can jump really well.
Like other Symphogears, it has a Swan Song that vastly amplifies its power... at the expense of putting enormous strain on the user's body. Given that it's fused with Hibiki, it can also be rather... problematic if she gets angry. That is, berserk rage with a power boost problematic.
  • Others: Totally Miku's wife.
Experienced Hunter-Nun

Somehow--probably only through being engaged in combat with someone else--her target had luckily been able to throw up a defence to her round in time. Annoying, but it didn't really cost her anything, whilst her opponent had just revealed a trump card. Lucrezia learned even more from his decision to summon a meagre spirit... yet still relying on a conduit. Not a mage, or at least a decent one, and with some way to avoid physical attacks.

The executor's consideration of her prey was cut short by the lightning-based attack, which was unsurprisingly unsuccessful due to being able to see it coming and sidestep it entirely. The beast itself was dealt with even more simply: hang the empty rifle on her shoulders, and draw out a bayonet from within her coat. No matter its apparent fearsomeness, the blessing on the blade was more than sufficient for someone with her experience to cut through it as it leapt for her... gun?

A single phrase was all that the nun used to cover her exit: a single blinding flash of light at the other end of the alley that might fortuitously throw off any attempt to eliminate the onmyouji but was simply intended to make it impossible to follow a camouflaged opponent. Being also indistinguishable from more mundane methods of achieving the same, it gave nothing away of Lucrezia's abilities as she slipped away, happy with the information she'd gleaned.

She was an ambush predator, not a fighter that relied upon brute force. The blonde could fight normally... but she much preferred to strike after gathering information. A single blocked shot in exchange for a definite foe, a wide snapshot of their abilities, and a first option to weaken them? It was a good trade.

On the streets again, the nun lit a cigarette with a trivial flame spell. Such a terrible habit... she'd really spent too long around those in high-stress professions. Not that hers didn't count.

Vampire on the Doorstep

Though happy to be invited in, the vampire was increasingly baffled by the way her host was being swarmed by animals. Along with the sheer variety around. It was understandable that an animal-lover might have a lot of pets, or someone might have an affinity for the things, but this was feeling more like a zoo than a residence. Just what was going on here? The complete stranger also sat at the table wasn't much less confusing, though it was always possible that she'd missed a younger sibling in her previous visits.

Elizabeth shrugged her coat off once safely inside, skin still undeniably pale to an almost... unhealthy degree, and tattoo hardly likely to make a better impression on the young girls here, if the bright red eyes didn't, "Elizabeth Cooper. If it weren't for the animals... well, there's definitely some magic here, so you're probably involved whether you want to or not."

"What do you know about the White Night of Klarsberg?"

Garie approves. Now she has someone who can sing for her :V

Hmm... now that I think about it... no power weirdness with Garie involved.

But yeaaaaah, I know several people here haven't seen everything I could include in that bio, so I rather... cut it down. XD
Eh, I can do a longer version, but even with Garie here I don't feel like including spoilers up to and including the last few episodes of GX, so I've been rather... terse. Also this is going to make power levels weird because I've gone with the interim original/G version rather than post-GX. @_@

@Raijinslayer ... does the gun's being magical in any way affect your post or not? :/
@Raijinslayer Before I respond, I need to point out that neither the bullet nor the rifle are 'mundane'. They're blessed. Thus, in fact, very much magical (though... not actually magic? It's an odd point)
@VitaVitaAR i have no issue with you doing the vampires can we have them be like the vampires out of "Vampires: The Masquerade"

Thaaaaat would be a bad idea.
