Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

That doesn't explain any more...
Despite knowing it was being written, forgot to accept it. Oops.

But yes, he's accepted. @Dblade26
Before we can get any further on whether the bio's accepted or not: what the hell does the Divine Gear actually do? "Lets you see things" is a bit vague.
Sir Artorias

Heading inwards along with the rest, Artorias made sure to act as a bulwark beween the strangely sadistic artifice and the injured man that had, with some difficulty, joined the rest of them. There seemed to be little point in returning except to ask for one piece of information: "Doth thou know where our search shall begin? Or is our strategy merely to search for humans amongst the wasteland?"

Kohinata Miku

Well, that was... helpful, Miku supposed? They had a way out now and whilst the Laboratory behind them was probably not going to be around much longer, it wasn't the sort of place that she would shed tears for. Even without her prior bad experiences, the only person in the entire thing seemed to have decided to kidnap her and Hibiki for experiments of one kind or another and she had no desire to stick around to find out what they were.

So the girl took Hibiki's armoured hand and started towards the exit.

@Polaris North I'm so sorry, I thought I'd already replied to that post. x_x
Jennifer White

It was frustrating that her feint had been anticipated, but that could be dealt with. More annoying was that the girl had clearly taken the hint that the glow could be dangerous and reacted completely the wrong way; Jen had been after a defensive attitude rather than a counter-attack--a ranged one, obviously. When it came to the abilities of Divine Gears, she simply couldn't compete on equal ground.

There was no time to think of a strategy to overcome the beam of light by the time it was launched and all that was left was to react on instinct. For most people, being confronted by a magical swordbeam would be an incentive to dodge or find some obstacle to use as a shield. The British girl wasn't that sort of person: having invested in an aggressive start, she was going to carry this all the way through and proclaimed a single word in English: "Cut!"

The golden radiance refocused into twin blades of golden light, overlaying the sword's own already sharp edges just in time for her slash to intercept the crackling blue arc. It wasn't cut in two, disappointingly, or destroyed... but it was blocked and pushed off of its hazardous course. The clear ground between the two girls shrunk to nothing as Jen continued to be the aggressor, turning the deflection into a nasty return slash that, had this not been a mock fight, would have carried serious potential to cut from shoulder to navel.

She had to keep this as a swordfight.

Tachibana Kaede

"Well, I can't say that I'm too excited for the tournament on my behalf. Probably going to bring javelins this year," the armless girl said, thinking back to her defeats in the previous two years. With environments that didn't lend themselves to improvised projectiles and ranged opponents with far too many tricks for keeping away, they had devolved into a battle of attrition each time. "Heracles would probably manifest to berate me if I tried to skip out, and I can't let the school down."

It would be rather bad to let down the patron God of Athletes by refusing to participate in a tournament such as this one, and risking her pact (or at least pissing off the deity behind it) would be a great way to be even more armless than normal. A cloud that rather resembled an angry face made her wonder if that was some sort of signal for considering the idea...
Saffron

"Why wouldn't I calm down quickly? Nobody's gonna eat me and being tiny and flying is better than burn scars," the imp pointed out. Then again, she had arms and legs whilst he... didn't. She was a bit jealous about the telepathy; people would probably have difficulty hearing her very well from a distance unless her lung capacity now had no bearing on volume. That might be kinda handy if she got a good opportunity to sing for a crowd, actually.

The expression she gave to Neix was more than a little peeved... but unfortunately, on her current body, it simply served to make Saffron look petulant rather than intimidating. She had the strangest desire to go round behind the kobold, find the end of their tail and... chomp. That'd show them.

It seemed the one barrier to their leaving was the upset spider-girl. It didn't seem like reasonable arguments were helping with that and Saffron couldn't pick her up like she really wanted to. She settled for flying over and giving the girl's arm a hug. "We're not gonna find a way home sitting in a cave, are we? Besides, your legs are pretty cool. Cutest spider ever."
Given that the magic comes from technology, I think magical instant noodles would be rather... crispy. xD
I'm interested. Still accepting?

I applaud your necromantic abilities.

Also: no.
Well I'm really just asking about normal guns since my character is going to use a pretty mana heavy sensory device and she needs an effective weapon.

You do realise that this is proposing giving a weapon that has no remotely nonlethal application (like holding back) for a friendly tournament? There's other things, but the law isn't terribly relevant when this basically proposes shooting school students in a competition.
