Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

Well, at least you can read it, now.
I'd rather go with that 'cause I only ever write one paragraph, and if I broke that up, my post would look absolutely pathetic, lol.

I am always in favour of more paragraphs over fewer. TOPICS ARE A NUANCED THING! xD
Well, it breaks it up a little. Still inferior to paragraphing because I am a grammar pedant, but it's easier to go through. XD
Wouldn't that be more work than just inserting line breaks twice...?
@Lugia Can you please break your posts up more? They're really hard to read without any paragraphing.

Now, I'm not trying to start anything or something, but I'm honestly finding it a bit stranger that Ariana is assuming you have to be externally freaking out to be 'freaking out'.

The fact that Arianna is kinda...throwing a temper tantrum and accusing people that aren't acting like she is, aren't freaking out on some level, is kind of a childish trait. Which means, it's not to much of a stretch for people to assume she's a kid.

That's pretty much the definition of panic, not a tantrum. It's an appropriate response. So many characters are totally blasé about being dead. Also the room full of corpses.

Which is making replying pretty hard, since so much of the cast seems to have no sympathy for anyone that doesn't have the ability to control their emotions of a first responder. That and, even if I come up with a reason to swimmingly ignore the field of corpses, I am terrible at exploring,

It's because she looks (the image you chose) and acts like a child.

Totally different character that doesn't look like a child, though. Just small. I'm glad to know that the number one criteria for adulthood is not freaking out about apparently dying and being turned into another species. O_o

It's just that all the assumptions people who have been turned into lizards and cats and things are making about the age of others is frankly hilarious. And inevitably someone treating an imp like a child but being told that they're nearly 70 would be amusing.
What I find stranger is how multiple characters have assumed the spider girl is a child.

The temptation to have Saffron have been Alice Cooper aged before being set on fire is huge. >.>
I'm not entirely sure what problem you have with a player being underpowered. It's hardly going to break the game and if I end up behind the power curve that's my fault and I'm the one who will have to live with it.

As for the second piece of gear, originally all I had was a normal gun. You suggested that I needed to upgrade it a magitech weapon. Your worry about giving out more gear to some people is perfectly understandable, however my setup is apparently still underpowered so I hope it's not as much of a problem as it might be otherwise.

The problem being less 'underpowered' and more 'the character's main ability is actually not terribly relevant'. Second part is... well, the basic premise is of a tournament and using multiple pieces of magitech is a bit iffy (and normal guns are constrained by this thing called 'chemistry', so...)

Would probably work better if you skipped the myth basis and combined the two things? Like... scoped rifle with all the sight things and a pistol?
I am really bad at working out what to do in a cave full of corpses.

"Biting the kobold's tail for being a dick to everyone" seems attractive but is probably a bad idea. xD
Artorias the Abysswalker

Artorias took the map, holding the paper as if it would fall apart at any moment in his massive hands. There seemed no way to make an efficient path through even two of the areas without backtracking and that meant tackling the closest area first--especially if it made their sole point of contact in this world safer and less at risk. "I shall endeavour to return thy comrades if we should encounter them."

The knight scanned the map, working out the direction they would need to head for the closest area, and folded the map up. With the map carefully stashed inside the cowl of his armour, he turned around and walked towards the entrance.

Kohinata Miku

Sometimes, Hibiki's desire to help everyone could be quite frustrating. Such as, in this case, wanting to help someone destroy a lab that plainly abducted people despite having no idea what was going on. "But Hibiki, we don't know if he should be doing something like this."

Though after saying this, the schoolgirl realised that telling Hibiki that someone might be up to no good probably wasn't the best way to lead her outside. At least she wouldn't be helping to destroy a lab if she went in again...?
