Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

I went and made an alternate version of Tyaethe in another game.

@VitaVitaAR - Since both Zetsuko and PKMNB0Y responded, am I good to make another Marianne post?

@Raineh Daze - Somewhat unrelated, but Tyranthe can only perish if she's beheaded, right?

Or split her head. Both of which aren't exactly commonplace or easily achieved. And to make it harder, her throat's even more heavily armoured than the rest of her.

But yeah, that's how you kill sentient undead.
It amuses me that Julianna thinks the clergy don't know.
Tyaethe moved forwards further even as Garret's attack was deflected, nearly getting hit by the rebound as she did so. It was clear that the knight still wasn't displaying much forethought beyond whatever skills she had honed into instincts over the years. That was enough to give her a solid idea of how to continue. Even an animal knew to go after the weak point to bring down their prey, whether that was targeting the weak link in a group or an existing injury.

But Tyaethe didn't want him to have a chance to keep backing away until he could find a position to launch a counterattack or escape. She wanted him brought down now for daring to touch the captain. Any desire to keep herself safe was long since eroded and she took the very real risk of getting cut to move even closer before swinging at his injured arm: he could back off and still be in range, block it poorly and still be hit, or drop down and be on the ground where he could be finished.

Though he could attack, she felt like it wouldn't be an issue. What sort of injured foe could actually deal an injury that was inconvenient, let alone problematic?
Literally never seen a good one. And I've seen some kill roleplays entirely.
@ZebanamanaJudging by the number of green recruits on the current mission, I would say that's a fairly accurate assessment, or at least what matches my perception of their losses/recruitment/makeup. That is, of course, Vita's decision, although I doubt it even matters to the RP.

That said! Yeah, I've been kinda holding off on posting because the bandit side of things seems more or less taken care of, and even more people being involved in the Jeremiah fight is just going to saturate it horribly. Seems like either way it'd just be dragging things out needlessly.

That said, I'll get a reply up to @ZebanamanaSoonish.

All the new recruits were PC's and there was getting to be too many.
A 5% loss in an incredibly lopsided battle would mean that you'd probably have all the knights die off every other year. That seems... both unsustainable and going into another genre entirely.

Though I was talking about morale, there. Don't think the Iron Roses are going to have morale problems... almost ever. <_<
@ghastlyInc ... you're really overestimating the quality of our opposition as well as which side is going to be routing. O_o

@Themerlinhawk Collabs are too long. And terrible for crowded areas. :T

Anarcho-communism?

Help! Help! I'm being repressed!

(though of course not xD)
I like giving my characters sensitive topics. I wonder if anyone can guess what would set Tyaethe off? xD

Potentially reasonable to know IC, given that it's an order of several hundred and people have been there for years.
