Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

That seems like a... pretty terrible idea.
@Raineh Daze

Have you already heard this one?

Why would I not have heard every song Sabaton has released? O_o
A good idea of Hikaru. Though I'm not sure if she was involved in the Boshin War or the Satsuma Rebellion at all. Also, she's fine with guns. xD
There are worse minds to read. xD
A fairly simple idea: a roleplay, in Gensokyo, where incidents are (mostly) player driven and on the scale of "one person causing trouble" rather than grand conspiracies to free people/stick the world in a plot/blot out the sun.

ok, you say that, but then we've got the grapple check flow chart.

Which basically halves the grapple rolls in 3.5. Not actually complicated, but rather pointless.
Pathfinder is basically 3.5, only things got shuffled a little. There's some rebalancing but not... well, not a huge lot. They didn't even fix the Sorcerers' one-level delay.

It is possible to have a character riding a T-Rex within the rules, however, so it has that going for it.
@ghastlyIncI have no idea what they are to tell you the truth

Did a Tome of Battle equivalent for Pathfinder, along with psionics.
Tyaethe had the presence of mind to actually slide to a halt before plunging through a wall of flames and wheeled around to glare at the bombastic fire mage. There was but a moment's pause as she weighed up her options before his attack. In that moment she discarded the cautious and conservative approach; every second wasted was a second where the mastermind could guarantee the death of their hostage.

So she sprung towards him, twisting uncomfortably close to the burning streams as her left hand relinquished its grip on the hilt. The follow-up strike was predictably wild and easily avoided; the paladin was both far smaller than the blade warranted and using her non-dominant hand. But it was so easily avoided that mere reflex would lead anyone not getting caught in the reckless attack to be in line with her planned attack. A pure magic user trying to fight a knight in the field was vulnerable to either, in her experience.

"Just die and get out of the way!"

The paladins left hand pushed out, into the flaming shield, and went for the throat. If the impact didn't crush it or snap his neck, then Tyaethe would just keep going, bringing them both to the ground and choking the life out of him. She would be down a functional arm if it took long but that was the one part of her current state that wasn't frustrating: being able to take such serious injuries and fight on regardless. Even though her armour would have avoided all this risk at all...

Wow. That was easy. xD

Everyone stopped looking at the assassin. Of course this was going to happen. xD
