Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

Sir Tyaethe Radistirin

Oddly, the Captain seemed perfectly happy to accept a member of the nobility as just another servant... though that didn't mean the princess would. This called for at least some clarification from Nero: "Did you even ask the princess before doing this? What if she doesn't want your sister to be another maid?"

It wouldn't surprise her if neither of them had given any thought to what should happen in the event one of them wasn't able to comply with the conditions attached to their defeat. It would be such an easy way to get out of any trouble, since there was nothing to fall back on.
I'm fairly certain you're looking for "hypocritical" not ironic

Don't get pedantic over definitions of irony. Definitely seems like there's some irony in not wanting to be called a dog and happily introducing yourself by that name. Hypocrisy would be calling someone else what they don't like. :T
Nothing is more ironic than Lancer displaying irritation at being called a dog whilst introducing himself that way.
I will second the hard-to-read part. Dark blue doesn't have enough contrast.
It appears to be turning him into a dog, if anything.
@Beloss He has the worst diet I have ever seen. Road, paint thinner, and acid? xD
Right then, keep Walgrave away from Medea. Got it.

It'll be fine. :T
Svetleaze von Einzbern

Some shine on it? Metal wouldn't add much to the functionality of the heavy axe-sword, particularly gold, and wouldn't be as reinforced as the rest of it. Though he might be onto something entirely by accident... with her magecraft, precious metals would make it possible to add more than physical might to her strikes, or get sudden range at the expense of strength. If it was still needed after the first grail, then the homunculus would see about improving her offensive capabilities.

Like so many other people in this room, her Servant apparently had food on the mind--ridiculous, given that there was no need for any Servant to eat, but Svetleaze supposed that simply being able to eat again was considered reason enough for the heroes, whilst Masters realised he difficulty of finding food whilst on a scavenger hunt.

"Very well, Kintoki. Follow me," the homunculus said, leading the way towards the cafeteria.

Ghyslaine Vinla-Meir

Returning Jack's hug was easy, though it made Ghyslaine a little disappointed that even though she was quite tall, the Assassin was still too large to pick up. Less easily addressed was the serial killer's obvious penchant for... well, killing people. It was particularly uncanny coming from such an innocent-looking child and made worse by needing to accept that, as Assassin, her role was going to be to sneak up and violently butcher enemies in the course of their search for the Grails.

"You won't need to kill anyone here. It's safe," or hopefully would be, "Why don't we get something to eat and see if there's anyone else your age?"

The brunette offered one hand for Jack to take. Maybe she could pack lunch and then find some clothes whilst the others were eating, though finding something that fit might be a little tricky. At least that way her outfit would be less risque.

Medea

Atalanta's unexpected outburst earned her a glare--a rather impressive one, given that it was coming from about the third least-imposing Servant in the room and the only one that was an adult. Even more so with her eyes still being covered by a hood, which just went to show what could be done with magecraft with enough skill and a desire to look imposing given everyone else here. The glare was, in Caster's opinion, well deserved; nobody got away with calling her a witch.

Maybe she should tell some of these athletic types that Atalanta enjoyed foot races? That would be a quick and easy revenge, since it was unlikely that every one of them knew about their myths. Or, with her physical features, it couldn't be too hard to modify catnip slightly... or take advantage of the leylines running through here to induce a similar effect on susceptible targets.

But like all revenge, it would be slow in the coming. Any of those plans needed time to bring to fruition and it seemed unwise to ignore her anchor to this world to begin plotting so soon before all these Servants needed to take action. With her attention back on Althienna, the magus seemed mysterious rather than fully ominous once again.

"I am indeed Caster, though as this situation makes class an unclear label, you may call me Medea," she said. How did her Master have so much hair without it being magical in any way?
@Raineh Daze

also am I to understand there is to be an early alliance of Faust and Jack the Ripper? Cause that is ten different kinds of adorable and would probably have the latter saying 'Sister' and 'Grandmother' a lot more often. Oh god the cuddling! It's too cu- Eyes melt in their sockets.

Loli tea party.
Sir Tyaethe Radistirin

The paladin, once armoured, actually looked less intimidating than normal. It wasn't like being seen out of armour had ruined her height or the eerie colour of her eyes any, but the armour itself had undergone a change in the few hours: a servant had been contacted to take time to clean it up. It was impossible to reveal the details in full within such a timespan but a valiant effort had turned it from tarnished black to an unassuming grey.

Her night had been spent the same as ever: guarding over the Saint's sword until just before dawn, then going through drills whilst the other knights rose. As she came in, there was a distinct unexpected sight: why was one of those knights a maid? Even the answer just raised more questions about what was wrong with these two: who put those conditions on a fight... and who actually put conditions without checking the third party would honour them?

Did the Captain really need more maids?

Merilia, Ignorer of Privacy

After keeping watch over the foreign bunny whilst she sleep, Merilia decided to have her projection do some exploring after people had risen and see what had changed in Candaeln over time--and check on some long-lasting spells, like the one that preserved all the library's books. All of Candaeln, rooms and all. Almost nobody should notice it right now, and anyone both awake and looking--a magical projection of this type made no sound in moving--would have to think twice just to be certain that they'd seen something real.

Fortunately for the knights, nobody seemed to have anything blatantly illegal--though some people had rather interesting material for teasing or blackmail, should it come to that. A few caught her attention: one had a nem sleeping in it despite the time, which was just odd, and rather a lot of magical information was spread out in another. The owner of that room might be able to hold a semi-interesting conversation later on. Tyaethe's room, as expected, seemed to be in an advanced state of barely changing: dust covered almost every surface aside from a rack covered in scarves and a path traced out in the past day or so.

Eventually, every room examined, she took to more public areas. The archmage supposed she should check with Nori and see how she was settling in after breakfast, but first... various facilities, then examining the library closely.
