Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

Hmm, anyway, I guess I need to think about what a Hyuuga would be doing all the way out here.
@MonkeyBusiness I'm glad.
It would depend on everyone's characters. I won't limit anyone. There can be students, there can be senseis, chunin or aspiring chunin. The plot revolve around the characters rather the the other way around.

Thank god, murder children is something I have no idea how to play appropriately. xD
Shirai Kuroko

"It smells like food," the teleporter confirmed, trying to work out where the singing was coming from. Like the knight, Kuroko was feeling that heading for the source of the smell would be the most likely way to find out how and why they were here--and how to get back home again. Though a grumbling in her stomach reminded her that it would be approaching time for dinner if they were back in Academy City...

"I think we should," was the small girl's reply to the question--and then she stretched out one hand to touch Lucia, offering the other to Mikoto. What followed was probably thoroughly confusing to the knight: a series of rapid changes in scenery that, with some effort, could be resolved as moving rapidly towards the source of the smell and the noise. There was no guarantee that the food had been that nearby and maybe if they didn't hurry, the sounds would stop as suddenly as they started.

Kuroko stopped the sequential teleports when the source was located--a small girl manning a stall and... some other girl stealing Takoyaki? Hopefully Onee-sama wouldn't respond to the crime in her usual manner...

Reinhardt Wilhelm and Ana Amari

To say that the pair's attitude changed quickly--Reinhardt's jovial demeanour sobering up and Ana's hand snapping towards her belt--was an understatement. The sight of something so obviously dead walking around (and wasn't that an uncomfortable reminder of Gabriel?) earned responses that, once conscious, were now nothing more than the most basic of combat instincts. A small pistol shot a dart full of sleeping agent to no effect...

... and the old man's wrist came up, presenting the lion's head towards the enemy. Faster than the human eye could follow, hexagonal panels of blue rippled out around it, until a massive translucent barrier kept the newcomer from the humans. Helmet dropped to the ground, Reinhardt's other hand was now wrapped firmly around the handle of his massive hammer, ready to smash this monster if it made a single attack.

"MONSTER! I will not allow you to harm anyone!"

Ana, of course, had already recognised that her sleeping dart was ineffective (yet another uncomfortable parallel) and was instead pulling up her Biotic rifle. With the potential for a fight, the singing and the smell of good food were quite the secondary thing to pay attention to now.
Reporting for duty!

Canon characters elements meaning?
Their clans? Kekkei genkai? Legacies?

Pretty much the first two, even if the characters tend to be radically different (and hopefully without the bizarre writing that kept stuffing more and more powers in the Sharingan when the interesting part was the base idea), since otherwise... I'd have to come up with a totally new character idea. xD
Well, as I said--OC's and original plot is good with me, just don't have a setting entirely devoid of canon character elements. I don't have many ideas. D:
Hmm, Naruto? Well, I say take the setting and to hell with the plot. THere's good elements in the plot but... it's something that just gets worse as things go on. But maybe this could do better than the last Naruto RP I was in...

Though, small group or not and canon or not, it'd be kind of helpful in my opinion if the Hyuuga still exist. Since I also have an old idea to reuse. xD
That's some pretty loud "singing" and pot clanging to carry to everyone's... uhh audio receptors...

"Oh look we can hear a loud noise with no apparent nearby source in this strange place we just showed up in. Maybe it's relevant! Or I'm hungry."
I think we can confirm from Reinhardt now getting a voiceline that is literally just "Beer!" he would go drinking. If, y'know, there was anyone in a bar to serve it and a reason to go there. XD

Not... Academy City? The younger girl blinked a few times as she looked around. It was distinctly modern, yet compared to Academy City that made it a backwards place all around. How they got here was definitely a mystery; Kuroko's teleportation was definitely not strong enough to jump to an entirely separate city, nor to drag along someone that she had no physical contact with. Though it was worth a shot: focus on Onee-sama, run through some calculations and...

Nothing. Those abominations under her skirt were sadly still in place.

"I don't know either and we definitely didn't get here by any teleportation I know of. If there was some clue where we were, I'm sure that I could reach an airport in a few hours, but..." the teleporter said, continuing to look around for any sort of indication. Sadly, the only noticeable thing in the area made things more confusing: where in the world could you find a knight in modern times? "Sorry, Miss Lucia, we are as far from home as you."

And what was a European knight doing speaking Japanese?

Reinhardt Wilhelm and Ana Amari

Both the adults took a talking motorbike in stride. After having fought through an entire war to prevent sapient robots from wiping humanity from the face of the planet, it was quite easy to accept intelligent machinery that had no right to possess that level of intelligence--though, for certain, the presence of an intelligent wheeled vehicle was an odd mishmash of past and present.

"Amazing? I agree!" Reinhardt said, the boisterous man placing his hammer on the ground--and proceeding to flex rather dramatically, despite the armour hiding his muscles. The posturing did show off the rather surprising range of motion that it permitted... even with the enormous shoulders.

Which left Ana to talk to the, the more level-headed woman sighing at his antics, relieving as it was to see that even the fall of Overwatch had done nothing to dent the man's spirit. Though maybe it was to at least provide some relief if the girl realised there was no easy way back to where she came from?

"I'm Ana and this is Reinhardt. I was in Egypt and he was in Sweden, so however we came here must have been something more unusual than car or plane." Not mentioning that this was a rather strange abduction. For instance, how did one even go about taking Reinhardt anywhere whilst armoured? *Why* would you try dragging Reinhardt off armoured, or leave the sniper her weapons?
