Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

Hanako

Of course, Hanako, too, was aware of the monster presence and the threat it would pose--only, unlike Himeko she was hardly so decisive as to run off, nor so good at spinning up an excuse on the spot. Combined with her slight weight, before she could even work out what to do, the white-haired girl was being tugged along with barely an "um". But... if she got to the shrine, then hopefully Nico would leave and she'd be on her own...

And then she could come back and help before the shrine maiden, regardless of how odd she was, got eaten!

@Ammokkx@RolePlayerRoxas
I will see if I can think of someone.
I'll post within 24 hrs.
Honda Ami

Sleeping in an abandoned apartment with a pile of blankets that Okita had found... somewhere (and she wasn't going to ask too closely--she'd rather not break the law or acknowledge that, but it was a darn sight better than freezing to death) was not the most comfortable thing that Ami had ever done, and still left rather a lot of questions unresolved. Food. Drink. Access to running water because otherwise there would probably be some sort of enemy that could track her through scent.

For now, the schoolgirl had just done the same thing she had every day since her Servant had been summoned: practise as soon as she was awake. Knowing that there were people that would want to kill her... there was no way that she could let her training, however inadequate, slip!

"Assassin, I know you used to teach this. I've dreamt it. So, do you think...?"

"Caster"

One of the biggest disadvantages to not being a normal Servant was that she couldn't get away with not sleeping entirely. Oh, Kezia had her ways to get the most out of as little sleep as possible-=-a witch had to be good with potions--but there was no getting around that she would suffer to go entirely without rest. Fortunately, she could use the time spent waiting for her Master to fall asleep to prepare.

She did not want to risk any dreams of her life getting through. Or, rather, she needed to strictly control them--and that took some planning. It wouldn't be the worst thing for Kirsi to learn here and there what her magecraft was really about, but if the dreams covered the full range of her memories, then the entire looping nature of her existence would come to light.

So she played it safe. Manipulating dreams was a speciality of hers, and what could go wrong with showing everyday life in colonial Salem? Maybe if she got lucky, her Master would wind up recognising Abigail's name this time and look up the witch trials instead. Not that she remembered them, they'd not happened from her perspective... but the witch knew that, ironically, she wouldn't be caught by them. The records were there.

And any iterations where her past wasn't investigated were so much easier.
Right, so we're decided on West Coast, coastal. Next order of business, general game feel?
Naoko vs Sonya

The laser fire was destructive, certainly. Powdering the rock, tearing through the building. Anybody who might think to attack from that direction was certain to have trouble chasing her down and following Sonya through the cloud of dust. It would be a completely idiotic and bone-headed move to do that if there was anything slightly easier that might be done.

At least Sonya got a split-second warning as the loud cry came from behind her, the massive spiked club swinging for her chest.

@TheFake
Okay, so we're starting from the (almost) very beginning here: we know that we have a city, but not a real one because we're not from the same area, so basic geographic features need to be filled out. Like coastal, not coastal, rivers, etc. Big stuff. I'm in favour of having a subway.

And what type of game it should be. I'm guessing not a philosophical rumination on the nature of good vs evil or human vs monsters.
Though Tyaethe still seemed to be standing without difficulty, there was definite stiffness to her movements as she spun around, grip on the sword not faltering despite the other hole punched clean through her arm. No traces anywhere, people didn't just disappear like that--dying left things behind.

She waited impatiently whilst Tiral did his work, wishing that the magician was faster or had landed some sort of tracking spell on the witch before she ran off--then breaking off towards the town as soon as he gave the word. Even if the town was protected now, with knights there too, and even if the captain was with them and likely to not be targeted again--

They had all the antimagic specialists up here.

She'd leave the drider's fate to Fanilly.
Tachibana Hibiki

The brunette responded with interest at Chris's remark, looking at the crystal in her hand... then seizing her arm and waving it around a bit more to confirm what the half-Japanese girl had already identified: that it was some sort of tracking device. Unfortunately for Chris, this then prompted Hibiki to use her free arm to take the arm holding the crystal and run off with a "Let's go there, then!"

Unfortunate, because out of the two of them, only one was a martial artist and semi-training fanatic. And it wasn't the one whose ability to fight consisted of producing more firepower than a normal artillery battalion at will.

The run through the streets of Tokyo was more like tugging the other girl along by the end, culminating in standing across a quartet of people standing awkwardly in the street--three of them blonde and one with white hair. But unlike her and Chris (well, arguably with Chris) they didn't seem to fit in so much.

And that's when the crystal started to respond more strongly, leaving the other girl's hand...
Sorry, haven't had the best week.

I'll try to post when I can, but I'm normally too busy on Monday.
