Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

Hi, I'm thinking about making an application. But I'm not 100% sure I understand the difference between Concept and Archetype. My idea was something based on the "Hey Diddle Diddle" Nursery Rhyme, specifically the "Cow jumped over the moon" line, with the character kind of functioning like a Final Fantasy Dragoon with a focus on exaggerated jump attacks. But I'm not certain what would be the Concept and what would be the Archetype there.

Concept: Nursery Rhymes.

Archetype: Cat and the Fiddle? You'd get the jumping.

And possibly final fantasy fight music.
Lillia Avemaria

With Saturday cleaning up one of the dolls, Lillia could only stand there--still somewhat astonished by the proximity, but also by the worksmanship. "This is... shoddy. Someone would have to be very inept to rely on physical organs as some form of motive component rather than accessing a soul far more directly. Organs have far better uses."

The threat of the oncoming chains didn't budge her, with Maria moving forward in front of her charge, knives flashing to deflect them--and giving the teenager time to do something that would, hopefully, make it quite trivial for the others to finish the automata off.

"Life is but a fleeting warmth, draining into shadow..." she started... and repeated... again and again. There were much better ways to do this spell, more powerfully and with more duration, but why would she want that? Everyone around Lillia was a target, and a stronger version might do more than merely cause fatigue if it had to be sustained for long.

But its affect on such fragile creations, with so little to apparently keep them going...
Tyaethe Radistirin

Tyaethe looked up from her study of the bodies at Indrau's approach. A veteran, and a good fighter; one of the few people who made her regret not having any healing magic to speak of... though since she was less competent at magic than any novice hedge wizard, nobody could begrudge her lack of investment in the area. There were some things that you just couldn't be good at.

"Why do I keep doing it? Because I'm good at it, and combat is exhilarating," the vampire said, shrugging. Get tired of yearning for combat? She may as well tire of breathing or life itself. Devotion to the goddesses, her fighting prowess, and her past were all that she had or ever would. As long as they never denied her calling then she could continue with a light heart. "Though these bandits are... dull. I would rather we have a dragon to oppose..."

She nudged a body with one foot, then met Indrau's gaze, "You're pretty experienced. Look at these soldiers and this bandit. Notice something?"

Okay, the problem isn't necessarily with the character ideas.

The problem is that you're obviously really new to this and the writing standard simply doesn't match up with what's expected. Writing on a mobile or not, your posts are completely lacking in proper punctuation. In none of your posts so far have you used a single full stop to end a sentence.

Additionally, with a bio that brief, it's extremely doubtful that any in character posts you make would really be long enough for casual. If you want to make bullet-point style bios without punctuation, you'd be better off joining roleplays in free.
No.
Dead. She was going to be dead of embarrassment. If anyone she knew saw her like this, being dragged along in a shrine maiden outfit... there was no way that she was going to be able to show her face in the town again if she didn't drop collapse on the spot. Hanako would have to retreat to a distant cave outside of any town and live the life of a complete recluse.

"W-We're not related..." she mumbled, looking at the red-haired girl carefully. Well, it wasn't that surprising if the local shrine maiden knew someone, but wasn't it a bit odd if they hadn't shared names before?

As much as she wanted to tug her hand free, she didn't want to be seen being unable to overpower someone just a little older.
Laetitia

"... right, don't eat it all before the first fight's even over, we don't want to miss anything," Laetitia said, shaking her head as she pocketed the change from Arturia's buying spree. Honestly, how did someone so small pack away so much food? Had she been like this in life; a bottomless pit that seemed to have no end to how much she was able to eat? The food might not have been as good but would anybody have been surprised by the king packing away an entire boar and then continuing to go through the rest of a feast?

"So, do you think either of them is likely to lose?" the taller blonde asked, picking a seat with a good sight of the fighting and glancing between the two. Someone like Chiron ought to have a good chance, right?

Sir Lancelot

There was, in fact, something that the Knight of the Lake had to do before he followed Chiron and Bradamante to the battlefield: borrow a phone and make a simple call. It would be a poor Servant that went into battle without warning his Master of the fact, and confirm that using the full measure of his ability would impose no undue problems on their activities.

At least it seemed there would be no need to warn the authorities to be on the lookout for Merlin's brand of amusement.

With permission given to utilise his Noble Phantasm, Lancelot took a few moments to wonder if Tristan could actually be considered to be watching the fights before heading to the arena floor proper and demonstrating his seriousness: a golden, holy sword, longer than the king was tall and shining with its own light.

"Begin when you feel ready," he said. Although giving Bradamante the first move was conceding an advantage, he felt more than capable to win regardless... and to attack someone so excited before they were prepared would be an improper display of his skills. Chiron would no doubt be disappointed at such an uninformative bout.

Alkyrieaze von Einzbern

"Well, then, this is certainly unexpected..." Alkyrieaze said, dropping the wire and backing off quite hastily. This torrent of magical energy... was something interfering with command seals, or was this really the most incompetent magus to have ever had the misfortune to be born into the world? They were supposed to be a completely foolproof system, with the power to back it, and although Servants were able to resist, something close to the level of Magic was pretty idiot-proof. "Altera, don't hold back; you can destroy the buildings."

Being unexpectedly pushed onto the defensive by a Berserker didn't seem to bother the machine-like Saber's expression one bit, replying to her Master's command with a simple "Understood." In any case, not having to hold back to prevent collateral damage was definitely more in line with the destroyer's abilities.

With Alkyrieaze providing additional mana, there was no reason to hold back on funnelling power through the emblems adorning her body, pushing the Saber's attributes even further as she pushed back--her blows not only stronger and faster, but the destructive blade itself releasing bursts of ice, flame, and even streams of mana resembling lasers with each blow as she countered the offensive with one of her own--and one far more controlled than a madman's berserk assault.

The buildings around were starting to suffer for it, though.
What sort of hardware problem affects two completely unrelated parts of your keyboard and only that?

Mind, every time I've had laptop keyboards pack up I just used a USB one. Tended to be better to type on anyway.
Before sending a laptop in for repair, you're going to want to find an external keyboard and check if that works--if it doesn't, then it's a software problem you should be able to fix anyway. If it's not (and you haven't spilled anything), then it might just need cleaning.

If it's one of those Apple ones with no travel on their keys and those can't be removed, I feel sorry for you.

Tyaethe Radistirin

"Don't rush ahead unless you're confident you can end it quickly. It's too easy to get surrounded and then you're in real trouble," the paladin noted, sparing the newcomer a major lecture--he'd at least had the skill to not get hurt and finished off the last. Besides, she had more important things on her mind than the combat abilities of one knight or the bandit interrogation going on--no, the bodies of these bandits were interesting...

Tyaethe knelt, picking up the top half of one of her defeated enemies, and took a leisurely pace over to the centre of the ambush--and the remains of the defeated soldiers. With the bandit to compare to and her experience... well, that explained a lot. Of course there were some differences--the bandit, for instance, didn't have the benefit of armour.

She put the bandit's upper half next to one of the defeated soldiers and rested the sword on her shoulder, waiting for the order to move out and surround the encampment.
