Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

@HereComesTheSnow Busy week?
Ashte

Ashte, as already noted, had no such compulsions against hugging the girl, but at least this time she broke it off before there was a risk of suffocation, nodding along with Alasayana's idea that she lead the way. Although, as soon as they started moving, she would drop back a few steps to stare at Moridax.

Then stare a bit more.

"Hooo, cute... though do you think you could do a favour for our little priestess here~? You're able to stop decomposition until we can get to a proper funeral, riiiight~?"

I'll do a thing after the thing.
"Get down!" was the only warning anyone got before Corinne's spell completed, courtesy of Liliane watching Nerffy dive into the mass of goblins. Not that she was in too much danger, thanks to Leon's unexpectedly preparatory work. The staff lowered, pointing at one damp goblin, and a brilliant bolt arced out from it, striking the goblin square in the chest--and then jumping to another one, and another, and another, the jumping arc of lightning accompanied each time by a near-deafening crack of thunder. Thanks to the water, the chances that it would divert to Neffy were slim.

It wasn't enough to get all of them at all, but the magical blast would certainly reduce the numbers to something more manageable for the warriors to cover, and maybe even give Neffy a distraction to bring down the necromancer before it raised any more enemies. Corinne's panting strongly suggested she wasn't going to pull off something like that again, not for now.
Will post tomorrow.
Tyaethe Radistirin

How had enemies crept up on her...? Eugh, obviously she had been paying too much attention to this argument, not to mention a helmet interfering with your hearing. One or two soldiers should have been able to creep up, given the size of their group, but this many should have been obvious no matter how stealthy they were. No force Tyaethe had ever encountered knew how to silence their own heartbeat, aside from the dead. And the dead weren't big on sneaky approaches, as a general rule.

Not that it really mattered now, the idiots had advertised their presence. Plenty of time for Tyaethe to get in position and observe how everyone else was doing here, as well as provide cover of more angles. Anyone that got through the initial line would have to deal with her, and the captain, as well as... whatever this bodyguard was able to do. This should be interesting.
