@CriticalHit Will see if I can come up with something by this weekend.
Appearance:

Age: 15

Name: Kai Seymour

Nickname/Alias: Sea Urchin

Gender: Male

Personality: Kai is a rather expressive individual. He usually makes his feelings, as well his as thoughts and opinions quite clear to those around him, even when they hardly make him sound smart. He is bold, impulsive, and headstrong, and will do what it takes to survive when the situation demands it. Kai misses his old crew and his life out at sea, and often thinks of those times. This is apparent as he frequently goes back to the waterfront at night to sit by the harbor while gazing out into the waters.

Biography: Kai was raised and trained out at sea by his pirate father and his crew. During his childhood, he witnessed countless successful plunders by the pirates. Seeing the men whom he practically considered family live their lives by taking what they wanted by force, the then young and impressionable Kai readily took after their ways, and he was contented with his life as far as he knew. However, everything changed one day when they chose the wrong target to rob - an enemy vessel with a crew they could not overpower. This failure resulted in the death of Kai's father and his men, leaving the terrified teenager hiding as a stowaway on the enemy ship. He eventually made his escape when the ship arrived at the waterfront of Luthias City. Since then, Kai had been surviving by the only way he knew how to - by taking what he needed, whenever he needed it, and by any means necessary.

Skills: Swordsmanship and firearm handling. (I'll include ship steering and sea navigation, though those are probably not going to matter in this RP.)

Equipment: Cutlass, flintlock pistol.
@KatherinWinter Think that's still all of us except for SIN. Are we starting a new thread?
@Letmehaveone2 I might have Rossa spot Deon when and if he turns visible, since she's outside too.
Yeah let me think on this too :D
Nice, just need to check if @Blueflame, @bloonewb, @Simple Unicycle, and @xXSINXx are still on board? We know the rest are since they've responded to the new plan.
Hmm, a few roles to fill that I can think of for the actual heist would be:

-Fighters/assassins to handle the security

-Lookouts for other possible dangers

-Runners to relay information

-The peeps who'll go right in and do the actual swiping of the loot

Hopefully this helps a little at least lol
@FreeElk @KatherinWinter

I don't actually mind keeping the tavern basement/secret room idea. Annie can still provide accommodation without being the leader, so that option is still open. Alternatively, it could also be at some other tavern, or as suggested before, an abandoned building or warehouse.

I think agreeing on rough guides for roles might be a good idea, stops us stepping on each other's toes a bit more.

Most of the details would probably be worked out in the meeting. Unless we want the leader to assign people to tasks. Most likely everyone would work in pairs.

Looking at these suggestions, I see two main options for how we can start the IC:

1. The bulk of the plan is discussed OOC. During the meeting, the leader assigns roles to the characters with little to no objection, and the heist begins early in the IC.

2. We have a page or two IC of characters discussing, interacting, disagreeing and planning together etc. during the meeting, before we eventually get to the actual heist.

That's what I'm getting so far. Do let me know if I'm on the same page or like really far off, hehe...

@LadyinInk If I were to vote, I'd personally stick with a theme where we get to keep our current characters :s As stated before, it's not strictly medieval, but I wouldn't go futuristic in this case. It's a good idea for a separate RP though :)
@KatherinWinter So it'd be best to more or less have all roles assigned OOC and then start the IC with everyone gathered and ready to be deployed?
@FreeElk With the characters we have now? That'd be cool. If we're serious about that, how long more should we give this one?
