@lozi Hi welcome. A doppelganger as in of another character, or it being related to your character's abilities?
Was that the one who had ran out or another? It was too dark to tell but he had a feeling that it was the teen from the group. Maybe he could use the kid to get close to the group. "Two against one seems like unfair odds. Why don't we move this outside and even up the odds abit."

If Griffin is still aiming to get in contact with the rest of the PCs, he'll help the kid and not the Captain ;)

The group will stay together because it has already been revealed that there are a whole bunch of people after the gang that pulled off the heist, and they know that they are all in danger and that sticking together will increase their chances of survival. Anyway yeah it's time Roxy returned too :)

Banned for being frustrated.
Awesome intros!

@Eric Horst @PokimKyOshi @King Tai Forgot the tags.

@Ken @OliveYou I'll assume the courtyard group can't see your characters yet. Do let me know if you need more to work with though :)
Rainna Rivera

Rainna stood where she was for another moment, attempting to make sense of the scene that had just played out in front of her. Was it a sign that something alarming was about to happen? It would be even more serious if it was to affect the academy. Perhaps whatever that was taking place between the headmaster and this mysterious stranger had been going on for some time and she had only just gotten a glimpse of it tonight. If so, how long had it been already? She regretted not taking her phone out to record a video of the exchange, but it had caught her by surprise, and she had not been able to think of doing that at that moment in time.

She was snapped out of her thoughts when she heard the sound of scraping against the wall. It was faint at first, and seemed to be getting closer. Still rather tense after witnessing the recent incident, she swiftly whipped around to check it out, only to see what looked like another student reaching the ground as he hung on to some strange-looking rope. He headed straight towards her, showing some concern as he asked if she was alright.

"You... saw that too, right? Please tell me you saw that," she immediately began.

It was quite common for rumors to be spread around campus, be it about suspicious unidentified individuals or the academy's staff and students. If she were to tell any student what she had just seen tonight, it would probably be dismissed in no time. It would definitely help if others had seen it with their own eyes as well, though, the next issue to think about would be what they would do about it. Questioning any of the staff members or the headmaster himself about it was not an option, for they were not even supposed to be at the courtyard at such a late hour, but they could not just do nothing, could they?

Rainna then caught sight of someone else who had taken a seat on a bench some distance away. "Okay, she wasn't there before..."

She looked to the boy who had just spoken to her, silently enquiring if he would like to go over to the girl with her before making her way to the bench where the newcomer was seated. "Hey girl, did you see that?"

There seemed to be nobody else at the courtyard, but Rainna could make out some movement out of the corner of her eye at one of the nearby windows. Glancing up, she saw yet another student who had witnessed the exchange. That appeared to be the case, from the way he had gestured to them. She did not expect him to join the rest of them downstairs, considering how reticent he seemed to be all night. A guy in a trench coat at a party was not easy to forget... The party! She suddenly came to realization that she had forgotten why she was at the courtyard, but after what had just happened, the party can wait a little longer. She wanted to know what her current companions had to say about it all.
Eliezer nodded at what Raven told him about her learning to play the flute. "It would appear that you have done well since then, although one who picks an instrument up does not necessarily have an obligation to be a performer."

He said this while he thought about how he only played the violin for himself and nobody else. Raven, on the other hand, had been keen to play for him since the day before, as mentioned in her letter to him. In spite of her lack of practice, she seemed sufficiently confident as a performer already. As for Eliezer, it was not that he lacked confidence in his own musical pursuit, but it was because it held a different significance for him. Perhaps a day might come when he would decide to share it with her, the day when he would fully understand this 'love' that she had spoken of.

He flinched slightly when she gripped his hand, and then relaxed as she began an explanation on the comfort of someone's touch. Although pleasant, he could not help but be slightly disturbed by the details that she went into regarding the phenomenon. She spoke about a craving, and what it had done to her parents. The way that she had just described the love that they had for each other almost seemed like… an addiction. There appeared to be some danger involved in it. It enchants and captivates. Its appeal would leave one desiring more. What then, if it came to a point when it would no longer suffice? What if it was lost? What if one had to turn back from it? As such questions ran through his mind, Eliezer started to better understand his fears, and the fact that this was to be a love between him and a noble of an enemy state made those fears all the more valid.

"It is a relief that you find the touch of my hand more than appropriate," he responded. He then looked away and spoke as if thinking out loud. "To want to be with somebody all the time... When does this 'love' become an obsession? Where does one draw the line, and how do they keep from being dependent on it?"

However, his mind was taken away from such thoughts when Raven turned his attention to the scenery. "It is interesting how what you refer to as the 'crazy' world is the one that we are so accustomed to. This place on the other hand is... truly something else. Prince Mathazar and I used to enjoy being taken out here. It feels almost surreal, to be back here after all these years."

He proceeded to take her to a small pastel-colored pavilion nearby so that they could continued to enjoy the view of the lake while seated, and then took out a tiny velvet-coated box. He opened it, revealing a gift that he had for her - a silver brooch adorned with a blue sapphire gemstone that sparkled like her eyes.

"As a prince, I can provide you with many things. As your companion, however, I still question what is sufficient and what is right. I hope to continue learning as I embark on this journey with you, my lady."
Guessing I'm the only one on the other side of the world again lol.

@Eric Horst Interesting, he's in. Welcome to Skyline!
I'm back in school too so I won't be able to post everyday either. We'll both take it slow for now :)
