And yeah @vietmyke I pictured the RIOT Po-Po with the heavy shit, so that's probably a good image, plus a bad ass shield.
@vietmyke As much as I like that image (minus the "POLICE" on the ass), if it doesn't work for the rest of the group then I can just as easily create a description which can then be added to the Archives. Better to leave the rest of the details up to the imagination of the reader rather then adding an image that doesn't quite fit the bill.
Essentially, I think going with a flexible and strong mesh-like material that they slip on like a tight fitting jumpsuit, and then adaptive armor exo-armor pieces for the arms, legs, etc, and a visor that doesn't necessarily cover their entire head (unless the guards want to stay anonymous...?)

Another concept for Security armor:
Essentially I like the idea of a flexible & strong form-fitting material underneath, with pieces of armor & tech layered. Also visors/helmets that give the Security Agent communications, and a HUD to pull up info on anyone, schematics of the Ark, etc.
Perhaps they would also carry shock batons, and other non-lethals, to subdue.
The Riot Police, however, (still looking for a good image) would have heavier armor with close-range weapons.

That's what I figured.
Oh, and love the intro post @boomlover, especially the last bit about the Admiral's eye. You have to wonder if he leaves it as a constant reminder of why he's fighting...or maybe he likes pirates. O.x?
