I personally look forward to a crazy crusader, and I see nothing wrong with their backstory.

Fighting wise, he looks like another rushdown character with a resource to manage in Valiance. My only quibbles are mainly just a stylistic thing. You don't need to list things like "...it deals a flat 50% damage to the opponent and sends them flying." as actual numbers. Nothing wrong with it but not totally necessary.

Otherwise looking at the whole of Emmanuel, Kant think of anythning else to quibble. You're approved as is.

I am pleased with the changes you've made.

Her back story is fine by me, and I do like the fact that you already get her (over) confidence across by her taking up her grandfather's mantle and all that.

Fighting Style wise, I am pleased to see that you've focused on the rushdown aspect of her. You've changed one of her ranged attacks up to a short range blast, which I can dig. Black Star Nova seems like an arena trap, and requires some setup to use as a ranged attack, which I think is a good compromise. I also appreciate that you changed the descriptions of the Super moves to make it more clear that it is just hyping up the attack a little in character than actual descriptions of their power.

I do like the fact that you made her inexperience and lack of defense a weakness, against more experienced opponents. Her poor staying power also is a logical extension of her intense fighting style, and I can forsee fun scenes where she has to deal with the double edged sword that is her fighting style.

You now have the green light from me.

@redbaron1234 Turns are in the context of the rp posts, for example if a throat punch connects, the opponent cannot use any special abilities for their next turn, or post.

That's fine and well but there are also cases when we have two people write a collaborative post in something like G-Docs. It just reads better than having them trading blows in separate posts. How would that work then? You should change it to something less explicitly tied to the format of the site, like 'a few moments'.

Sorry for taking so long to get to you, and I am afraid you are going to have to wait a little longer to get a proper review. However I saw one quick thing reading through Vikkar's fighting style. You keep referring to turns. What do you mean by that?

@PirouetteA woobie is a character you feel sorry for. That you want to hug. Examples would be the Elric brothers from FMA (They lost their mother and most of their bodies at a young age and only survived by their alchemist knowledge), Peter Parker (His orgin story revolves around letting his greed and pettyness keeping him from stopping the man that would kill Uncle Ben), and Samurai Jack (His home was conquered at young age and he has spent his life toiling to stop Aku).

You'll notice a lot of these are related toa tragic backstory. TV Tropes can list many other examples to.

Heh yes, its more shonen action series in its plotting. Only a most cursory knowledge of Fighting Game mechanics is needed. I even discourage naming hard numbers or overtly 'gamey' aspects. Feel free to ask around. I can even explain some of the major fightng game archetypes to you if needed.

Otherwise, another zoner! Nice. I do like the mental image of this arrogantly nerdy guy pimping around as a nomad simply because he can. I dolike the bullet storm aspects of his attack style, and how all out it goes in that aspect. The idea of him throwing a woobly is amazing to me, especially if he decides to go Nuclear with Oppenheimer's.

One quick question on his armor ability.

Upon taking damage Al's ki will harden around the area harmed, turning his flesh and bone into reactive armor

Does this mean that the initial blow will still land with full effect, or did you intend this to be how he has high defense?
