Oh, and I should mention that I wrote my cs in the mind of a narrative roleplay since I do not play fighting games all that often, and don't know a lot of the terms and slang used in those games. But I'm pretty sure I can pick it up pretty quickly for this rp.

Oh goodie, a poison based character. Time is this character's friend it seems, a bunch of debuffs that lead up to a final attack. But it is neat to see it is in fact harmful to her, and that she needs to be judicious early on to get the full range of powers. You've already addressed the main issue the other GM's have had, with Death and Decay's permanency, which is good. So long as the damage isn't permanent, at least to PC's, we're good. I also like the idea of it being a good weapon against Mori too, since as written it does seem it would affect her too. I like this moveset and fighting style. Take her down quick or you're in a world of pain.

I like the backstory , with the combo of tech and magic. I can certainly see some great sympathetic moments for her, and as Kai said, she is a bit of a woobie. She's got my stamp of approval.

@KaiserElectric - I was just thinking since after I implemented the changes asked I changed the healing ability but I forgot to tag you in my last post with the updated version of Al. I'm curious to know your thoughts on the power I put in place of the one that was there when you approved Al. Do you think it's a suitable replacement for the original power?

One quick question on his armor ability.

Upon taking damage Al's ki will harden around the area harmed, turning his flesh and bone into reactive armor


Does this mean that the initial blow will still land with full effect, or did you intend this to be how he has high defense?

@redbaron1234 - It's basically my explanation for how he can have flesh as tough as steel without it rendering him an immobile statue or an actual robot. So yes, in practical terms he has high defense. I can downgrade the material comparisons a level if his current defensive stat seems a little high.

@KaiserElectric - I'm quite happy to hear. I do look forward to roleplaying alongside you all if and when I'm accepted. I've had plenty of reading thanks to these interesting bunch of characters.

Otherwise, another zoner! Nice. I do like the mental image of this arrogantly nerdy guy pimping around as a nomad simply because he can. I dolike the bullet storm aspects of his attack style, and how all out it goes in that aspect. The idea of him throwing a woobly is amazing to me, especially if he decides to go Nuclear with Oppenheimer's.

He's got the green light from me.

Heh yes, its more shonen action series in its plotting. Only a most cursory knowledge of Fighting Game mechanics is needed. I even discourage naming hard numbers or overtly 'gamey' aspects. Feel free to ask around. I can even explain some of the major fightng game archetypes to you if needed.

@PirouetteA woobie is a character you feel sorry for. That you want to hug. Examples would be the Elric brothers from FMA (They lost their mother and most of their bodies at a young age and only survived by their alchemist knowledge), Peter Parker (His orgin story revolves around letting his greed and pettyness keeping him from stopping the man that would kill Uncle Ben), and Samurai Jack (His home was conquered at young age and he has spent his life toiling to stop Aku).

You'll notice a lot of these are related toa tragic backstory. TV Tropes can list many other examples to.

That's fine and well but there are also cases when we have two people write a collaborative post in something like G-Docs. It just reads better than having them trading blows in separate posts. How would that work then? You should change it to something less explicitly tied to the format of the site, like 'a few moments'.
