When I was in high school and I did a similar thing I was sent to a classroom filled with angels. In hindsight is was probably not the best class to start out with. Gives you unrealistic expectations about what some classes are really like.

Um. Do we have any sort of indication of where Cass might be? I mean, I seem to get the feeling we're supposed to search for her outside Dewmeadow, but, er, did we get any indication? Maybe she just overslept? Any reason we shouldn't just check her house first, or something? Ask around town for clues?
