Aside from comedy, my whole point of "that looks good, but fuck them" comment, as you put it, was because they have a history of putting out decent to great looking trailers (i.e., Suicide Squad), only for the film itself to be awful. It has nothing to do with a mindless rage simply because it's the DCEU. It has everything to do with expectations and reality. The reality is, the look of their trailers never translate to how good the movie actually is. In fact, it's usually an inverse; the better the trailer, the worse the film. And thus, my expectation is that they're putting out another shitty DCEU film. Which results in me not having any interest nor excitement for what they reveal.
As soon as they tried to rush an interconnected movie-verse without laying the groundwork just to compete with Marvel, they failed. I was fine with MoS. Was it a great movie? No. Was it a perfect Superman film? Not at all. But I enjoyed it enough to watch it a second time. And then, after one movie, what do they do? Immediately throw everything together without any apparent real plan. In my opinion, that was foolish and a fatal flaw. And ever since then, they've been pulling an NR and trying far too hard. If they just relaxed and focused they could get their shit together. But I don't see that happening anytime soon, if ever. Not until they pull a Crisis out of their ass and reboot the whole damn thing.
I'd rather put my time and money to good use.
To each their own.
I'll definitely be waiting to hear reviews before I even contemplate buying a ticket, though. Justice League and BvS spurned me.

Wonder Woman was the last DCEU film I will ever pay to see in theaters. Even if these two get rave reviews, I'll wait. It took me nearly a year to see BvS.
I have no problem with grimdark, serious, edgy, and/or gritty comic movies. I have a problem with bad writing, poor directing, and awkward performances. And, while, yes, I am obviously being extra critical now for comedic effect, and I can't fully judge the films until they release and I see them for myself, no pretty trailer from the DCEU will make me interested in another one of their movies. Regardless of how fun they may appear.
Well, those were both miles ahead of the Titans trailer. So they've got that going for them.

That's really not saying much.
That's like saying the Hindenburg disaster had the silver lining of not being as bad as the Titanic.
As fun and cool as that may look, I will not be tricked again. Suicide Squad also looked fun and cool. Unlike Snyder's Superman emblem, I have no hope.

EDIT: I've always liked Mera. Can't wait to see how they ruin her.

Nah, dude. Petey was an angsty boy for a long time before Seabiscuit got a hold of him.

I know lol. Hell, even 90's TAS had angst.
I was just poking fun at overly emo Maguire-Parker.

He was pretty fucking angsty, dude. Like approaching NR levels of teen angst shit.

NR only thinks he's angsty. And then he tries really hard to convince the rest of us that that is the case.
Mister Rogers had more genuine angst than NR ever will.
It's either gotta be "Fuck Uncle Ben"

Aunt May's response: "Been there, done that."

but Peter Parker Tobey Maguire was the original teen-angst superhero.

Fixed that for you.
