YOU BASTARDS EAT UP MY LIFE!

Technically they eat up your life. I just eat up a minute of your toilet squatting time.
Thanos tears trident out of Blue devil and a week long montage of using it to toss his own caesar salads, plow his garden and go spear fishing before @retired responds:

"Heeeeeeeey!"

Aww. This means you've actually read (at least one of) my posts. <3
Also, seconding what Eddie said, the reason I'm not actually placing a vote in either direction is that my dumbass writing slowly shouldn't prohibit others having their fun if they want an MME this season. So unless I thought such an event would ruin the pacing or spoil the narrative, I'm still not saying "do this" in regards to holding off.
Not addressed to me, but as I'm in the same shoes as Eddie, I'll respond.
Having to play off of and be directly involved with other players would most definitely increase my post activity. When someone can only continue once I respond, I do my best to not make them wait, and I often post immediately in those cases. Because I hate dragging another player down like that. So in the sense of being involved, personal post activity would go up.

But, the point I think Eddie is making - and correct me if I'm wrong, assuming you haven't replied by the time I finish typing this - is that it would still take time for him, and I, as players who have posted so slowly as to write ourselves into these lonesome corners to place our characters in a spot where they could become involved. I would love to interact with others - Byrd and DocTachyon know I've discussed some things with them briefly - and participating in an MME would be great. But my character is not yet in a position to do so, not until I complete this narrative point I'm trying to reach and end on. Once I do, I will then be completely available to interact and participate with others in ways that fit the narrative. But because I haven't yet, it wouldn't make narrative or character sense to incorporate that at this point. Which is why holding off on the next MME until the second season is appealing for players like Eddie and I.

Apologies if I spoke for you out of place, Eddie.

EDIT: God damn, I even type these OOC posts so slowly that the conversation has already ended. Ignore me.
If it takes place all over, and part of the event occurs near L.A., I may be able to participate in it next season. Definitely not this season, though. And it might even fit well with my plans for where I want to end this season for Daniel and start next season at.

EDIT: Of course, that all assumes I don't write at a snail's pace next season, too, and screw myself over from being able to participate.
Yeah, I definitely would not start the next season with an event, if I were you. But having one a couple weeks in or whatever to "begin" things with a bang would work.
With Andy pretty swamped this season, I'm going to have a think of what I should do with Bekka. I've got most of a post written but I have nothing really in mind to lead it into. Sometimes I think I'm just objectively bad at headline characters rather than supporting/legacy characters. Just in a spot where I know I need to post but I'm not sure where to take things or how to handle them.

I'm pretty bad at these games, huh?

Fight Kristen Wiig.
Batman would be too busy having a nervous breakdown and hallucinating about his dead parents to do anything. And, in the end, he'd be the Bill Foster of this Civil War.

In all seriousness, that's up to Morden and Byrd. I defer to whatever the people want in most cases, but that's specifically a matter that I think should be left to GM discretion.

Do not even joke about a Civil War event for this game. Gowi will explode and begin planning how each and every character and NPC will murder each other. It happened in a couple of the Maximum games. The horror.
Got my post halfway finished today. Need to go make dinner and then I have my D&D session. I'll most likely finish and get the post up sometime tomorrow.
