Bio

I am a Japanese-American (half-Japanese on my mother's side) with a twin half-sister. Yes, you read that right. To explain it real quick, during mom's monthly, she dropped 2 eggs instead of 1 after 2 (or more) guys took her to bed. Each egg was impregnated by a different man's sperm.

Anyways, I'm a kind guy who really hates fighting. However, if I have to stop a fight, whether verbal or physical, I will. I'm here to have fun and be crazy with my OCs, new characters and even some canons. So far, my favorite RP I've been in on the site is the Multiverse reboot. As a whole, the Multiverse was 6 years old. I love the idea and have even used it (with a few minor changes here and there) for a few LARPs with my local friends RL.

Other than RP, I am also a Wiccan Witch following the path of Gaia and a hypnotist studying the varying effects of hypnosis on various age groups and am always taking willing volunteers.

Appearance:

Personality: Like most typical heroes, Sora is brave and heroic, impulsively risking his own life for people he doesn't know and is loyal to a fault. Despite everything that he has endured throughout his journey, Sora retains his upbeat and optimistic attitude. He shows little tolerance for cowardice and selfishness but is ultimately forgiving of those that are sorry for their actions. Sora has a remarkable capacity to forgive, even to those who have harmed him and his friends.

However, Sora himself is quite competitive and childish. He often competes with Riku over numerous things, like racing across the islands, and is the first to jump when there's a contest. He is obsessed with pirates and thrilled to get his own ship in Kingdom Hearts III, and was eager to meet Santa Claus in Kingdom Hearts II. Although unintentional, Sora initially does not know how to act towards people of higher authority than him and is very disrespectful to both Yen Sid and Queen Minnie.

Upon hearing the plan from Big Band, Yoshitsune began his thoughts.I could stick close on the roofs of the taller buildings, keeping him in sight but staying out of sight myself. Midna apparently had a similar idea about being close by and unseen. Her shadow ability made it easier on her than it did for him.

As their planning session ended, Yoshitsune stood and followed the others outside. Instead of going to where everyone else was going, which Yoshitsune had no idea about, He slid into a small alley and got himself up to a roof. He stuck close to Big Band, almost always jumping to a higher roof than the one he was on, as he watched the fake crime scene investigation from the real professional investigator. The irony was not lost on him.

Apparently, right below the roof the samurai sat on, there was another man. With a smirk, Yoshitune readied to chase, not wanting to lose his friend or the man that was obviously trouble.

Big Band began to approach the man.

The Chase was on.

Yoshitsune got lost.

How could I lose that big man? He was definitely angry with himself. While he was still jumping from roof to roof, he heard the howl of the sax. With a slap of his forehead, he ran to the area, ready to jump into the fray.

Once he saw the number of enemies that Big Band and Midna were up against, he stood in shock. With one of the enemies below him, he jumped through the window, creating a large crash that would definitely draw attention to him, and aimed for the swordsman in hopes of taking his weapon. The stunt did not catch Daemon sleeping and he dodged out of the way well ahead of time, then turned with a sweeping horizontal slash to counterattack.

With the torch as his only weapon, Yoshitsune blocked with it, smirking. "You lost," he said, shoving Daemon back before thrusting the head of the torch at him, not knowing if the enemy would burst into flames or not. He hoped not as he didn't want to kill anyone, though more for his own honor than for any questions Band had.

Though the new enemy recovered from his fall a lot faster than Daemon thought, it was not a problem. He readied his blade as the firebrand came in, and though blinded into tunnel vision by the sudden flare, there was nobody else to take advantage of for the time being. The gang leader deflected the torch with a parry and aimed a downward chop at Yoshitsune to slice into his arms.

Yoshitsune blocked with the torch again before jumping back a few feet. "You're fast," he smirked, "but not fast enough. Kamui!" He sped towards the swordsman again, aiming another thrust towards his torso. Thinking he was gonna try the same parry, he stopped before making any connection and spun, aiming to slam the torch hard into his enemy's right side.

"Tricks already, huh?" Daemon's mask hid his intentions as he dove to the side. He took a glancing blow from Yoshitsune's torch as he did, the strike aimed true thanks to Kamui, but a momentary contact did not allow the flames to truly take. When the fire disappeared so did Daemon as he activated Stealth, disappearing from sight.

"Kamui!" Yoshitsune yelled again, focusing all his senses on the man he'd been fighting, listening for any sound that would give him away. Eyes closed, he listened carefully, ignoring the rest of the fighting, unless anyone came too close to him, and focus on where Daemon could be, whether for a stealthy attack or retreat.

Unfortunately for Yoshitsune, everyone in the area had heard his dynamic entrance, and it took only a moment for Cass to switch targets and come running his way. Her giant mechanical legs covered the distance between them in only a moment, and once she grew close she extended a punishing snap kick with power and range to spare.

With his Kamui still active, he reacted early, ducking under her kick and replying with a thrust of his torch to her lower torso. "Bad idea," he said, spinning to his feet just as Kamui was about to wear off, aiming to knock her in the side of the head.

Taken by surprise by Cass's unorthodox stature, Yoshitsune underestimated the length of her prosthetic legs. Even with the superior focus, he couldn't land a hit if he couldn't reach; only the tips of his flames tickled her. In contrast, Cass needed only to lift up the leg she kicked with to bring it down in a stomp onto the samurai's back as he stretched up from the low stance he ducked under her kick with.

With a dodge roll, Yoshitsune barely dodged Cass's attack, leaving only the cloth of one sleeve torn. "I'm not the only one." He revved his engines, turning to go in circles around her, watching her reaction, though he stayed out of range of her kicks.

The swordsman felt the air on his face as the metal talons carved through the space just centimeters in front of his head. Cass wasn't about to stand still and let her foe do donuts, but took another step toward and let loose a spray of knife-like feathers from her arms before kicking again. At that same time, Daemon dashed out of stealth behind him, his blade already in motion, to execute a cruel slash across Yoshitsune's legs and sandwich him in.

With Cass coming from one direction and Daemon from another, though he almost didn't notice the swordsman, Yoshitsune did the only thing he could think of. He stopped his wheels, jumped backward with a flip, getting out of Cass's reach again and getting over Daemon's blade.

Try as he might, the samurai couldn't escape the situation both unscathed and without Kamui. A few of her feather knives struck him even before he took to the air, and with Daemon completely blindsiding him from stealth he would have gotten downed if his lower legs weren't metal. By jumping backward he managed to avoid a crippling wound from his would-be assassin, but for Cass kicking him yet again was easier than shooting a clay pigeon. He got launched over Daemon's head and hit the ground a ways off near where Band was doing his best to hold off the rest of the rebels. The two cyborgs approached to finish him off.

After discussing bounties and odd jobs, Yoshitsune decided that he'd go to the palace to get more information about those jobs. It seemed most of them still required the use of his swords. The scam artist, though, did not.

After looking closely at the poster, he headed towards the residential district, using a map he found to keep on track. Finding the residential district wasn't hard. Finding the scam artist, however, took some searching.

He spent some time on the hunt checking each street, ally, and park, but whoever it was who didn't want to be found was quick to get scarce upon seeing someone so obviously searching for something out of the ordinary. Eventually, however, something out of the ordinary found him. Just as he rounded a street corner that featured a tall, fancy lamp post, a man dressed head to toe in blue denim sprinted right by him, just barely dodging out of the way of the collision. Yoshitsune got just a split second to look at him, but despite the dyed blond hair it was enough to tell not only that the runner was Japanese, but also that he was absolutely terrified.

"Fraud! Huff! Swindler! Huff! Stop right...huff! ...right there!" Came a bellow from down the street, from the same direction as. The swordman glanced over to see a huge man barreling after the blue-clad backpack-wearer as fast as his legs could take him. With a stunning combo of blond whiskers and pompadour plus cow skull and horseshoe accessories he cut quite a figure, but it was easy to see why this pursuer wasn't gaining ground on his quarry. He swept a hairy arm to the side, gesturing for Yoshitsune to move, lest he be squashed by the onrushing one-man stampede. "Gang way!"

Yoshitsune was quick to pursue the swindler, easily passing him on his wheels. "Stop!" he yelled in Japanese, instinctually reaching for his swords that weren't there. He continued speaking his native tongue to the man, hoping he was right about him, "I can catch you anywhere you run, thief, so I'd think twice about taking another step."

At the new voice the runner looked back over his shoulder, and he did not like his chances when it came to being chased by someone with wheels. "Hey, gimme a break! I didn't do anything illegal!" Nevertheless he grit his teeth and swerved to the left. He entered a narrow alley cluttered with rubbish, a bicycle, and other miscellaneous items sure to be trouble for a pair of tires. Although not in good enough shape to climb up anything he hot-footed it over the junk with respectable speed. As the big man rolled up he realized that the alley was a lost cause and continued onward, headed toward where he thought it would let out.

Yoshitsune, using a modified wall-run ability, was able to speed down the alley at a higher speed and altitude than the man he was chasing. With the first chance, the samurai leapt down in front of the man, trying to block his escape.

Just when the runner was about to escape the alley to freedom, the light at the end became blocked by that crazy wall-riding psycho. But he couldn't turn back now, so rather than slow down or run away he tried to go straight through. He tackled Yoshitsune head-on, and the two men blew out of the alleyway to land on the street in a tangle of limbs. The runner pulled himself free and got halfway to his feet, only to get body-splashed by the big man from before. He went straight down, his back to the pavement, and from his backpack spilled a handful of video tapes. His pursuer knelt down and clapped a big hand onto the fallen man's chest to keep him there, huffed for a moment, and then grabbed one of the tapes. "Ushio!" the fellow began with the miscreant's name. "I thought you were pretty smart, but how 'n the hell d'you think this'd work out?"

Ushio tried to look indignant. "Hey, there's no law against selling animal bang videos! It's educational stuff, you know. Biology!"

"Doggone it Ushio, I don't care how educational it is, you were callin' it 'uncensored porn'!" Unfazed by Ushio's excuses, the big man shook his head in admonishment. "We don't need any dumb, hot-to-trot kids buyin' that crap, an' we don't need anyone sellin' it!" He slammed a fist down on the ground to emphasize his point. "Now cough up the gold you tricked off those kids. I gotta hand it back after I turn ya in!"

With an annoyed look, Ushio reached down and produced a bag of coins. When the big man took it, however, he lashed out with a pair of brass knuckles and caught his pursuer in the side of the head. "Gah!" he grunted, instinctively raising his other hand to the wound as he staggered. Ushio hopped to his feet, preparing to flee.

Yoshitsune climbed back to his feet beside the scam artist, only to jump back in surprise as the huge man knocked him back over. After taking note of Ushio's name and why the other man, who Yoshitsune thought was built much like Benkei, had been chasing him, he sighed and grabbed the dazed Ushio. "You take care of the kids. I'll take him to the guards. Less for you to deal with." Turning back to Ushio, he spoke in Japanese again, "Make one wrong move and I won't hesitate to slam your head to the ground, understand me?" The low growl in his voice showed just how serious the swordsman was.

Instead, Ushio lashed out at Yoshitsune's grasping hand with his brass knuckles. The metal weapon dealt a painful blow to the swordsman's fingers, not breaking anything but still demonstrating that it would take more than words to convince him. "Go soak your head!" he spat.

Using all his speed, he reached for Ushio's head. For the criminal, it would pass in a fraction of a second. The samurai was not only fast but strong enough to deliver on his warning. The next thing Ushio would know is he's laying on the ground and the back of his head is in extreme pain from the impact. Yoshitsune knelt above Ushio, his hand still on the swindler's face. "You were warned," he growled as he stood. "On your feet."

"Guh!" the runner groaned, unable to fully respond thanks to being mildly concussed by his surprise rendezvous with the ground. When Yoshitsune pulled him, however, he did not resist, but stumbled into a standing position.

The big man stepped up at that time, holding the part of his forehead that Ushio's brass knuckle bloodied. "You're a fast one," he complimented Yoshitsune. "Good job. Wasn't thinkin' he'd go for knucks." He crossed his arms as he looked the miscreant up and down. "This guy's Hirotaka Ushio. It's true he didn't break the law, technically, but it's still shady as hell, and someone's itchin' to give 'im a stern talkin'-to." He then faced the swordsman, appraising him. "I'm Goldlewis Dickinson. You can hand 'im in to the Grimleal as long as ya save me a piece of the pie. I went through all the trouble of findin' 'im after all, even if you're the one that bugged 'im. Meet ya there in thirty?"

"Minamoto Yoshitsune," he nodded with a small but friendly smile. "I'll wait for you. Just one question. Where is the Grimleal?"

With his wheels locked, Yoshitsune began walking Ushio to the Grimleal and waited there for his new ally.

A half hour later, Yoshitsune's wait at the temple of Al Mamoon's unloved peacekeepers came to an end. Owing to his new acquaintance's larger-than-life presence he spotted Goldlewis well before the big man trudged up the temple stairs, and with a nod he followed the swordsman inside. It took only a couple minutes for the acolytes on duty to sort the two bounty hunters out and furnish them with their reward: four hundred glittering coins.

Goldlewis was handed the sack, but as he and Yoshitsune turned to leave he immediately began to split it. When he divided the proceeds into two lots, the shares were uneven. He set aside three hundred for himself, and offered his accomplice one hundred coins even. "Here," he said, holding out the pouch containing the portion he felt he owed. "For the help."

Yoshitsune took the coins as he spoke, "Would it not be more fair to split the coins evenly?" While he wasn't really needing the coins, thanks to his own currency, he felt it was dishonorable for the man to short-change him. "Or is there a particular reason you need more coins than I?"

"Not a question of need," Goldlewis explained, eyebrows furrowed. "Question of what's fair. I did all the work of trackin' 'im down, then 'ad to go and find all the kids 'e sold that crap to to give 'em back their money. I appreciate your help, but in the end ya punched 'im once, then dragged 'im over here. So I figure I deserve a li'l more of the reward."

Yoshitsune nodded softly. "I see your point. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time to help catch him. Are you staying in town?" He glanced in the direction of where he'd last seen the group gathered, hoping some of them had been successful with their jobs as well.

With an appreciative smile for his cohort's understanding, Goldlewis completed the split and pocketed the lion's share. "Yeah. Was in Midgar for a hot minute, but with the upcomin' election things got a little too fiery for my tastes, so I hightailed it out here. I've been on the Grimleal's payroll since I came, helpin' 'em 'round town."

"Anything you can tell me about the Grimleal?" he asked, the lack of knowledge being very apparent.

"Grimleal? Well, uh..." Goldlewis stroked his whiskers. He stared off into the middle ground, giving Yoshitsune a good look at his glasses. The left eye was blocked by a black plate, and it bore a red kiss mark. All in all, a stylish substitute for an eyepatch. "They pay me to fix stuff that needs fixin' anyway. Plenty of folks complain 'bout 'em, but I've got nothin' bad to say. Like 'em or not, they'll scratch your back if you scratch theirs."

With a nod and a glance back at the temple, he began heading for the spot where the yellow team split up. "If you want to join the team, we're open"

Although Goldlewis didn't have the foggiest about Yoshitsune's team or who he meant by 'we', he waved the samurai off. "Take care!"

With a wave and a nod, he sped off with his coins back towards the others.

After no response from Laharl, Yoshitsune decided to make his way back towards the train. Without his swords hanging from his hips, he felt rather defenseless. Being the first one back, as far as he could tell, he went back up to the conductor.

"You look a bit bored," he commented, leaning against the side of the train. "Everyone else seems to be off doing something important. Should've made my way to the palace. I think that's where they all went."

Although the sharply-dressed avian didn't know what the well-armed stranger was talking about, calling him bored seemed to rub him the wrong way. "Hey, I ain't just slackin' off here, laddie. I'm workin' on the script for my next big movie. You're lookin' at a fifty-one-time winner of the Annual Bird Movie Awards, ya know!"

Here glanced at the bird-man with confusion and curiosity for a second before shaking his head at the strange words. Looking around, Yoshitsune didn't see anyone he recognized from their group of misfits. It reminded him all that much more how he missed Shizuka and Benkei. Here knew he wouldn't be able to see Benkei until he joined him in the afterlife but still had hope for finding Shizuka somewhere.

"There are other teams… I have an idea… But I need the creature that can talk to the other teams…" He was thinking out loud, not even saying half of what he was thinking.

He began thinking about the beings in their group, the ones who seemed to think he was more of a nuisance. With a shake of his head, he stood, only to nearly fall on his face as he'd forgotten about his wheels for a second. Looking over at the conductor, he sighed. "Guess even a seasoned samurai isn't perfect."

All the rambling did not seem to make much of an impression on the Conductor. He raised his head from scribbling in his clipboard in an effort to look very busy, and addressed the overly familiar samurai once again. "Erm...look, laddie. If you're huntin' fer the friend ya came 'ere with, I think I heard 'em squawkin' about a shoppin' trip or something. Maybe they're still in the market?"

"I just came from the market," he replied. "And I have to go back tomorrow to collect my father's swords." Again, he glanced down at his hips where his sheaths normally hung.

The Conductor followed Yoshitsune's glance, but in a few senses of the word, he didn't see anything. "Ack. Well, that's me fresh out of ideas then." He let go of the clipboard with a hand and rubbed his chin. If this guy wasn't going to clear out, he could at least be of some use. "Hey, ya look like an actiony sort. If, say, ya were tryin' t'do an armed robbery, what wouljda tell 'em?"

He looked at the conductor with confusion. "I wouldn't do an armed robbery." He was curious about the script and wondered if it was actually a plan. "If I saw one happening, though, I would try to stop the criminal, either by words or by force."

"I'm not sayin' you would, I'm just sayin', in a hypothetical sense...bah, nevermind." The Conductor gave up, waving a dismissing hand. "If ya don't know about movies, I might as well be talkin' to a peckin' brick wall."

"If what I gathered from the teenagers is enough to go on, your world is also in the future compared to mine," he said with a frown.

The filmmaker gave a dry laugh rubbed his head again. "Guess so. Never envied you lot, all stuck in the past. Must be real confusin', eh? But so's that peck-neck Validar, and 'e picked up things pretty quick."

"Vali-who now?"

Considering that Yoshitsune was new in town, the Conductor did not look at him too askance. "Validar. Y'know, the vizier. Guy in charge of the city. Think he's a wizard or something. Anyway, point is, he's from the past but 'e managed to figure out loads of new stuff. Means ya got a fair shot yerself, don'tcha think?"

"Possibly. Just need to take time to learn more," he shrugged. "So, what's a movie?"

"Uh..." Although he'd just encouraged Yoshitsune to seek such knowledge, the Conductor looked less than eager to spend his own time getting the swordless man up to speed. How did one explain what a movie was, anyway? He held up his hands weakly and made vague motions. "Well...ya see..."

A blip sounded out from his belt, causing the Conductor to jump, but if anything he sounded relieved. "Oh! Peckin' perfect timin'." He slid his handheld radio from its holster and showed it to Yoshitsune. "Sorry laddie, gotta take this one. Talk t'ya later, hm?"

With a shrug, he climbed on top of the train to wait for everyone else.

As soon as Yoshitsune had asked for directions to a smithy, Midna piped up with the concern of currency. Yoshitsune, though it wasn’t much, did have a coin purse with a little over 100 coins in it. Holding up the bag, following Primrose’s additional comment, he listened intently to the conductor’s directions. “Thank you.” he said with a low bow before rushing off in the direction he’d been told.

Finding the foundry wasn’t too hard. Discussing the broken blade and payment, though, was a bit annoying for both the samurai and the particular smith he spoke with, but it was dealt with swiftly and with agreeable terms for both.

Although the smith personally recommended replacing the decimated weapon rather than trying to repair it, and could not boast expertise with this kind of blade, Yoshitsune made how much the sword meant to him very clear. In the end the full restoration would run him five hundred and fifty gold pieces, require the sort of metal with which it was originally made unless the samurai decided otherwise, and need his remaining blade as a reference to model the reforged one after. It would also take at least a day, since the smith had a lot of work to do.

Yoshitsune showed the Smith the coins he had and was happily surprised when he lowered the price with his larger coins.

Having time to wander the market, though feeling naked without his father's swords, he began looking at the various stalls. He’d pass his allies every now and then and give them a small greeting. He was trying to relax, though he still seemed awkward.

If was here he saw Laharl. “You were in the town of sweets. Nice to see you decided to join us. I don’t think I ever got your name.”

Yoshitsune smiled as it seemed they had found a solution that everyone could agree on. While he didn’t like thinking of anyone or anything as superfluous, that’s exactly how he saw the ants and wolves that were searching for their missing allies. While tempted to speak up again about the wolves in one group searching the edges for signs of life and the ants climbing down to the bottom for any signs, he decided to keep his mouth shut.

As the train was about ready to move again, Yoshitsune looked off in the direction Fox had stomped off in. Instead of risking another storm, though he didn’t see one in the distance, he took a rope and tied his waist to the back of the train, close enough to keep him safe but far enough that he could still attack any enemies that passed.

But it was for naught. Their trip was fairly quiet and uneventful, giving the samurai time to lament his father’s sword again. “I’m sorry, father,” he said, a single tear escaping.

They pulled into the train station, far to the side to be out of the way of the much bigger trains that could crush their little ride, and everyone piled out. Yoshitsune untied himself as he let his thoughts roam. “There could possibly be a smith here!” he said to himself in realization. Moving quickly to the train conductor, he skidded to a stop on his knees. “Please, tell me you know where a blade smith is so I may have my father’s sword repaired.”

When his suggestion was greeted with anger, especially from Tora, the samurai was confused. At least Midna seemed on board with it. He gave her a soft smile and a nod to let her know his appreciation. Most people, while harsh, did have legitimate reasons why they didn't want to go. It seemed they thought he was trying to take charge?

Then Sectonia came up with a better plan. Her ants didn't need food or water and wouldn't get blown away as easily, if at all, and nobody else had to go with them. Midna still summoned a wolf to join the search party.

With a smile, Yoshitsune looked at the Phantom Thieves. "Can your summons withstand the storm? Sectonia has a much better plan than my own and I think it'd be smarter to have more to go with them. Of course, this is voluntary." While listening to their answer, he tried remembering if anyone else had any summons.

After the Thieves, he approached Primrose, "if I remember correctly, you have a large beast that could help the group of summons. It is still optional. It would be invaluable, though." He hoped the dancer would say yes but didn't want her to feel forced into it.

After Primrose, he returned to Midna. "Would the giant dragonfly be able to bear the winds or would it be too dangerous and not worth it?" He was genuinely curious because he didn't exactly know how her summons worked.

Once outside of the storm, Yoshitsune took his place on the tracks behind the train again. They slowed to a stop, taking a head-count to see who was missing.

“Split up,” Yoshitsune said, jumping up to the back of the train. “Three teams. First team, all fliers, search the bottom of the crevasse. Second team, our fastest runners, to search the edge of the storm for clues that they were thrown out in a different direction. Third team, everyone else, head to the milk palace.”

With his idea put out, he began looking at everyone.

“I suggest Sectonia, Midna, Necronomicon, Poppi, for team 1. For team 2, Red, new boy, Fox, racoon. I would join but wheels are not good in sand and I can help defend the train with Tora, Primrose and the others as team 3.”

Strategically, to him, it seemed like a balanced idea. “Stay in teams and we won’t lose anyone else.” he said, leaping down to the center of the group. “We don’t want to lose them forever. It is the way of the samurai to never leave an ally behind, whether you like them or not.”

Looking around at everyone, he tried to take in how they were feeling as a group. “We will find them,” he said loudly, “for I have faith in our team and everyone in it.”

Moving to Tora, he kneeled beside him. “I know you don’t like being separated from Poppi but this is to find our teammates. She can fly. If you were riding her, she’d be restricted by how she could fly.”

Having had a semi-restful sleep, Yoshitsune awoke with a yawn and a stretch. Upon noticing where he was and remembering what had happened the previous night, he looked at the lone Katana in his lap. He sighed as he stood, walking as to not disturb anyone who was still asleep.

Once towards the center of town, he noticed there were others already awake and milling about or making breakfast. He ate enough to be able to last until lunch, not wanting to eat too much, then proceeded to finish off with a Kurama herb, just to be on the safe side. It didn’t taste good but he felt more refreshed afterward.

When Primrose introduced the new kid that was apparently joining the party, Yoshitsune welcomed him in his native tongue, ”Welcome, young Overlord. I am glad for your strength.”

It was then he noticed the raccoon with Fox. Resting a hand on his sword, he glared at him. “Are you going to attack a-” He stopped mid-sentence, noticing his eyes had changed. “No longer Gleaming,” he sighed. “I take it you’re looking for your friends or family as well?”

Before Sly had a chance to reply, a palanquin approached carrying a rather oversized princess. She was dealt with quickly by others so Yoshitsune didn’t need to get involved.

Soon after that, they were led to a train, something Yoshitsune had never heard of before, and were told to climb aboard. A little cautious of the machine after the previous ones tried to kill him, he chose to hold on to the back of the train and let his wheels roll freely.

He got bored quickly riding the way he was, not to mention his sore thighs, but was instantly put into high alert as he heard they were heading into a storm. With all his strength, he held on tight, getting somewhat afraid when his wheels were pulled off the track. He lost his grip, however, and was barely able to catch Poppi’s leg to prevent himself from flying off.

Holding on for dear life, the samurai was relieved when the updraft seemed to be slowed by time. This gave him the chance to get back down to the tracks and slide under the bridge. With his balance and the wind being strong enough to basically reverse gravity for him on the underside, Yoshitsune ran with his wheels locked, bouncing lightly with each step on the wood. He got as far as he could, which was still slightly behind the train, before having to jump back to the top, using his Kamui to get a better chance at gripping onto the train and not Poppi.

As Red ran off, trying to get the metal monster’s attention, Yoshitsune gathered all his energy in the Amahagane and activated it to its second level, allowing him the chance to stab his blade into the joint more precisely. However, it didn’t do too much against the metal monster and he lost his grip on his sword, unable to stop it from flying from his grip. With a grunt, he landed and immediately spun to jump for his sword again, only to see it shatter in the joint. With a roar of rage and sadness, he grabbed what remained of his blade and landed with tears. Knowing it wouldn’t do much but needing to let out some anger, he revved his engines and ran alongside the robot, punching its feet every chance he got until his hands were covered in blood. In pain, both physical and emotional, he fell to his knees and looked at the shattered remains of his blade that had once been his father’s.

While lost in his own little world, he didn’t notice the battle ended and everyone was going to begin splitting their prizes.

Yoshitsune slowly moved, gathering every shard he could find of the sword. If he could find every piece, there’s a chance he could have the blade repaired. He just didn’t know anyone who could…

With the pieces pocketed, he began wandering the town, looking for a place he could rest. Glancing through a window, he saw more trapped beings. With a renewed vigor, he drew his remaining sword and began chopping away at the sap to free everyone he could find. His engines could be heard running wildly around the town, into and out of buildings, and with a lot of chipping and shattering of the sap traps that he’d been getting more and more familiar with.

At one point, he came to the raccoon in blue. Seeing as he wasn’t natural to this town, he freed only his top half. “Are you friendly?” he asked, slowly chipping at the edge of the sap as he waited for the thief’s response.

For a moment Sly looked both bewildered and bleary, as if awoken suddenly from a deep slumber. He shrunk away from the well-armed man before him as best as his imprisonment could allow, trying to find his voice. "Ugh...fuh...friendly? Trapped is what I am...uh, but sure. Friendly as it gets! Sure don't want any trouble..." Fully conscious again, he discreetly tested the sugar crystals around his lower half and found them reasonably brittle.

“I’ll give you all the details you need to know from me and you can decide to join us, go your own way, or try to attack us and die.” With a sigh, he proceeded to tell Sly nearly everything he’d found out that day about the group’s main goal as well as the fact there was at least one other group, most likely two, focusing on the same task in a different part of the world.

“And, lastly, while this is more personal, I need a bladesmith.” He showed the raccoon man his shattered sword, trying not to cry again.

The raccoon gave an uneasy laugh as he worked himself free. "Sorry, buddy. I mean, thanks for gettin' me outta there. That stuff you mentioned though, you know, and that sword..." Yoshitsune's dimly disguised emotion left him feeling uncomfortable, perhaps even more so than his threat. "Well, good luck with all that, but I think I'll try figuring things out for myself." In one fluid motion he scrambled free and took off into the night, slipping away like smoke in the wind.

With a sigh, Yoshitsune walked from the house and began looking for the next person trapped. Seeing Midna was already dealing with one of the trapped beings, Yoshitsune went to the final one, a girl with strange arms.

With a few slices, he freed her head and chest, though kept the rest of her trapped for his safety and hers. “Are you friend or foe?” he asked, crouching and poking at the sap, trying to see exactly how much damage it could take before she’d bust free like the raccoon did.

The moment that Yoshitsune broke the amber encasing her head, Peacock gave a loud yawn. When she shook her head -so fast that it became a blur- a comical rattling sound rang out, but when it came to a stop her empty sockets fixated on the man before her. "Well lookie here! Seems like I's got myself in quite the pre-dicament!" Her grin revealed sharp metal teeth. "You wouldn't happen t'be with the Medicis there, wouldja bud?"

“And what, prey tell, is the medicis?” he asked, resting his forehead in his palm. “All I asked is if you’re friend or foe. I doubt I’d be with whatever this medicis is without knowing so, as far as I know, no. So, I’ll ask once more.” He raised his sword and brought it down quickly, cutting off a chunk of the sap. “Are you friend or foe?”

Peacock gave a single, dry laugh, her smile one of derision. "Look pal, seems like you're stuck in a rut. I could teachya a thing or two about intimidation, sure, but for a newbie you're doin' pretty good. Hats off to ya. Right, Avery?"

With a flip of her head she lifted the brim of her hat. For a split second Yoshitsune could see a toy bird atop her head, holding some sort of device that resembled two metal rots joined together. Then there came a blinding flash and deafening bang as the shotgun went off as the amber encasing Peacock was obliterated. When the Yoshitsune's ears stopped ringing and he could see again, he found Peacock standing a few feet away, a pistol in one hand, a cigar in the other, and a wide smile on her face. She took a long drag and exhaled, but not from her mouth--instead an eye socket momentarily changed into lips and spat the smoke out. "Nah-haha! Shoulda seen the look on your face!"

With shock, he had jumped back upon the bang but immediately pointed his blade at the girl as soon as he could see her again. "So, you're an enemy." he said, revving his engines and rushing at her, activating his Kamui again to pinpoint a good slash towards her chest.

"Wise guy, ey? Here comes trouble!" Peacock aimed her revolver and fired three times, sending a baseball, tennis ball, and soda can flying at Yoshitsune's tires to trip him up. Before he could reach her she skipped into the air, and a perfectly circular black hole appeared below her. "Nana-boo!" Just before he could slice her she disappeared inside, and it closed after her. She popped up over a hundred feet away and gave him the double finger guns. "Stee-rike one!"

"If you're gonna run then just run!" he yelled before turning back towards the center of town where the rest of the group was. He was already exhausted, physically and mentally, and had tried being a good guy by rescuing everyone he could find. What a great idea that turned out to be, he thought to himself.

The strange girl shrugged as her new acquaintance left. "Good on ya!" she called, waving. "I got no time to play with shmucks." She took a final puff of her cigar and flicked it into the icing without so much as a pause to stomp it out.

As he passed by where Midna was, he glanced up at the guy she had lifted on the roof. With a shrug, he figured she didn’t need his help. He continued his trek towards the center of town to see if anyone could actually give him a good space to sleep so he didn’t have to crash wherever.

Upon asking where the men were being led, he was quickly led away by one of the animals to a place he could sleep peacefully. With one katana across his lap, he sat with his back against a corner and his legs against a wall, leaving much more room for everyone else.
