and Napoleon Bonaparte (what a badass. I'm totally going to make a character who is something of Bonaparte/Ceasar/Alexander - he will be called...Eskandar...)

he will be called...Eskandar...

called...Eskandar...

Eskandar

If he is not this badass. You have failed ISKANDAR, THE KING OF CONQUERORS!!!

On another topic- Are our Gods alive? Can they be considered a force of nature or is everything that they make artificial?

Well, Vestec will stab various Gods that aren't Astarte and see if they bleed or die. THat'll answer our question! =D
@Freeshooter92@Demonic Angel

NO ONE EXPECTS THE WIZARD DEATH SQUAD.
I'm also thinking of scrapping Festus and going with something sort of new. At the very least, taking a spot that quickly became vacant during the previous rp: the God/Goddess of Order. Let's face it, even Vestec can't have his way forever :P

Plus, Order sounds like a fun concept to mess around with.

Yes, last time we were notably lacking any true good guys, so this sounds good to me. Somebody has to counterbalance Vestec, too

<Snipped quote by Scarifar>

I like that idea: a nice opposition to the madness of Vestec, so that he can't transform the world into a spiraling mass of disorder and insanity. That's something strongly needed, I think.

Lady of the Mind approves.

What, you didn't enjoy Vestec's having fun and shenagains with no one to counter balance him? He wouldn't have turned the entire world into mass disorder and insanity. That wouldn't have been fun. Just enough to make things fun, but not enough to overwhelm everyone! He had to self balance, you see, because the only one who consistently went against him was Ialu.

Sauranath ignored him or flew off to talk to Invictus and Fate. Vowzra largely let him do as he pleased. Escre flew off into space and then was surprised (or as close as he got to surprised) when Vestec started breaking his things. Arguis and Ferghus didn't do...anything to oppose him (but neither did they support him!). Astarte and him are in twue wuv (a cookie for whoever gets the reference). Undasis was busy sleeping (I don't think they would have gone much against him anyways. Not sure though.. Roxan was his daughter. Escre took the other demi-gods.

Did I miss anyone?

I support lady of the mind @Hael, but we'll see if Kho has time to run this RP now. Remember, it went on hiatus because we all ran out of time. (I have some, but not a lot. And Vestec isn't the type of character you can just leave idling. :p)
@Sep

YES. I FIND IT SPECIEST AND OFFENSIVE.

<Snipped quote by Sep>

Yes, yes he does. BTW, Sep, the twi'lek in question is likely a consistent customer of his which means this wouldn't be the first person who came into his shop looking for her. I would also venture to assume, for the nature of fun, they also caused some massive trouble and wrecked his shop to seek her out. :p

NO. BAD FALLEN. MELLOCH DOES NOT NEED THAT ASSUMPTION.
@Kho

Vested isn't. But he will visit the other planets!

@Cyclone

I vote Zephyrion.
Well, maybe things will be better if somebody actually intervenes against Vestec.

Things got so bad he had to create his own nemesis order. ;_;

I had the idea to almost immediately create a bunch of sentient elementals and spirits to serve my air god and eventually become lesser, local deities for the various civilizations that see them.

Discussing creations OOC before dropping them IC might be a good way to go about things. Really I don't have that much of a problem with suddenly creating things so long as it's carefully done so as to not force us into an awkward position like what happened when it was decided that humans were created ten years before the start of the heroes' and demigods' rampage. Going off the example from your quote, to explain the sudden arrival of elves it might make sense to say that instead of instantly making some new race and dropping them from the sky, they were created/evolved on another planet over a long time in parallel with what was going on with Galbar (same name again?) and were brought over by their god. Or used magic to reach Galbar themselves.
Cyclone

See the few thousand quote. Gods, least of all Vestec, rarely have rhyme or reason to their creations other than 'this looks neat'. I see no problem with just dropping a reasonable number of a new race onto the world and seeing what happens. If you drop them in the middle of an advanced nation that likes to enslave and kill things, well, they're probably gonna be enslaved and killed. Besides, the other planet thing would mean that they'd probably have different technology, climate, matierals, unless their God simply was able to create everything the other gods created or transfered all of what made Galbar habitable too said planet.
@Cyclone

Did we establish how much time passed? I'm not sure. I remember that we had two timeskips, but other than that not much. Regardless, if we did my argument is moot, but if we didn't the world seemed so small because we focused on central areas. The Cimex had a huge population, the Uri were not far behind. Who knows how many other human tribes there were that were far away from the war between Garakai, Thulemiz, and Ialu. If I remember correctly, most of focus was on the North and the center of Arguiland (or whatever we called it). Of course, I could be entirely wrong and arguing for nothing.

@Kho

Alright, fair enough. But I still don't think we should just have hundreds of thousands of years pass at the drop of a hat because we want to make the world more filled. Namely what the hell would the Gods do in that time? Of course, we could easily just say 'Time passes strangely for the Gods', and leave it at that. It'd allow the populations to spread, give us even MORE people/empires to play with, and make everyone happy. We should keep the world building though. I liked it, even if Vestec did jack all with it.

As for creation of other races, well, after the initial hundreds of years to allow population growth, we could just have the Gods be able to create a sizeable population when they first create life. Nothing that could be considered an uncontrollable horde of doom, but maybe a few thousand to carve out a life for themselves and still keep the story moving without hundreds of years going by.
Hector was too sick to even bother giving the woman a rude gesture in reply to her insulting comment about his height. It wasn't his fault that everyone around him was a giant. Though he gave a strangled laugh at the thought of her calling the barbarian tactless. Funny, how little of our own flaws we see in ourselves but condemn in others. He thought idly, staring at the sea and hoping some shark or other monster wouldn't rise up from the depths and try to eat him. He had seen it happen once, or had that been a dream when he was sailing over to this Gods forsaken place? Regardless it was with mixed happiness and dread that he felt the boat beginning to move again. On the one hand, they were heading towards the shore, on the other hand, movement made things worse.

"I swear. If you tell me that the Eye is in the middle of a Gods damned lake, I'm going to volunteer for distraction duty. You all can have fun sailing. I'll take my chances with angry guards and magic." He declared, more to stop himself from throwing up than anything else. It helped to talk and focus on other things, even if it was just inane babble about how much he hated sailing.

It was with very obvious and great relief that he stumbled back onto land, taking in deep breaths. "Never again." He promised, knowing full well that if he didn't die on this venture he probably would do it again. Hector glared at Eolas before grudgingly giving a smirk. "Harty har har. I haven't heard that one before. You're a real jester, scholar." He glances prospectively at the knight, before turning back to Eolas. "Since we're not going with my suggestion, can I get his share when he leaves?"

He began to stash away his coins when he noticed the Venar watching him closely. It didn't take a genius to figure out why he was watching. That was the kind of man who would either bash their heads in for the coin or steal it after someone else did the bashing. Seeing as he needed all of them for the Eye, Hector was willing to bet it's the latter.

The archer gave a grin towards Bakk. "No honor among thieves eh? And here I thought you were going to give me a proper burial." He was fully planning on hiding his coins in other places later, when the giant wasn't looking at him. That grin turned into a wince and a frown as someone who was evidently more flamboyant than the knight, if that was possible, borderline declared their goals and plans for all the world to hear. I want to kill this one too. "Malcom, I'm Hector. Welcome to the group." He didn't bother telling him to be less vocal. It wasn't that much of a slip up...yet.

He clambered up on the Ulla himself, more at ease on walking monstrosities than on the ocean.

Nazca snorted at Jayda's words. "That makes two of us. I don't want to be here, you don't want to be here. I'm a prisoner, you're a prisoner. I know ul'Zabrak, you know ul'zabrak. The only difference is, one of us has an opportunity change their imprisonment. Which one, you ask? Only time will tell." She smiled at the Zabrak, idly glancing over at Khan as the child began to speak. She immediately winced when he spoke to her about being a Jedi and shrugged helplessly at Jayda. She murmured quietly, hopefully so the cameras wouldn't pick up what she was saying, to Khan. "Careful what you say about her Khan. Her master despises weakness and finds the term Jedi synonymous with it. He flipped out when he thought she was acting like the Jedi. Comparing her to them while cameras can listen in is a bad idea if you want to help her not get the shit beat out of her."

She shrugged again. "What's done is done. Strength comes from pain, doesn't it Kasluat*? You and I know that very well. Remember; **Shureen fro'tlesu atar" She gave Jayda a crooked smile. "Or at the very least die trying. Not high on my list, but it could happen at any time."

*Slut

**We will prevail.

~|Location: Melloch, Mos Eisley, Tatooine within Egrens shop|~

After leaving the group, Melloch made his way over to the shop in question. Once there, he came across his greatest foe on worlds that didn't have a large Herglic population: small doors. "Excuse me," Melloch called apologetically into the shop "this is going to take a while I'm afraid." He began to work his way through the door, shifting, twisting, and forcing all of his considerable mass and blubber through the small frame. It took far longer than he would have liked, but they always do and he was far past being embarrassed by other species not having the good sense to make doorways larger than they need to be.

Once he was finally in the store, he smiled sheepishly at the shop owner. "Forgive me if I cause a scene. Herglics weren't meant for exploring other planets that don't have properly sized doors it seems." He walked over to the counter, idly glancing at all the various relics sitting around. "I'm looking for someone that I heard frequently visits this place. A green Twi'lek by the name of Jiek. She runs messages for Janglor. Has she been around here recently?"
