I just finished The Secret History, a very Gen X book. Never Let Me Go before that, which I'd recommend to any writer outside the MFA atmosphere who wants to know emotonal restraint.

Cool! Thanks a lot. I'll briefly mention it in the character's history and there'll (hopefully) be some tension should the two cross paths again, but otherwise it shouldn't affect anything.Sounds good!
On a seperate note: @Ruby, in the canon and my personal lore, John Constantine has a brief, young relationship with Zatanna. Is this something you would like me to edit out (easily enough) or are you okay with the history being present?I'm okay with it.
Soon after I returned home from military service a classmate discovered I was hiding several RPG sourcebooks in my apartment. At first I expected teasing, or disapproval, but instead he asked me if I had ever played 'pen and paper.' After explaining the voice acting was a turn off, he suggested I try it online. I wanted to write something just for fun, and wanted an audience...this was actually kinda perfect.
Here I am. I've forgotten how long I've been here.
