Current I'm a pretty good writer and former site staff; I still deal with imposter syndrome every time I log on. You're definitely not alone. And t's worth trying anyway.

Don't worry, D3AD ST4R, most of us feel like that. <33

I just finished The Secret History, a very Gen X book. Never Let Me Go before that, which I'd recommend to any writer outside the MFA atmosphere who wants to know emotonal restraint.

I think, somehow, we've made it difficult for people to feel some sense of ownership here. Folks seem uncertain about making an IC move without storytelling posts coming first, giving them something to react to. Hopefully no one thinks if they do something IC, that X and I can't adjust and make it work.
Um, if it means anything I was waiting for the next part to start before I introduced Harley. ^^;
Oh, no, sweetheart. That wasn't a shot at anyone. Just my best 'take' on the reality of our game's situation right now.
Maybe. If it's really just X, Sloth, yourself, and I sticking with the game as others come and go? Maybe we re-think our approach.
Nothing but smut.
Even three hundred words takes you into Advanced territory.
No, it doesn't. If you give me 300 crap words I'm probably quickly inviting you OUT of my Advanced RP. 300 great words that fit the narration and scene to a T? Now we're talking. We do damage to the idea of Advanced when it's measured out in word counts and paragraphs. What generally marks Advanced from the rest? Not length, not skill...just the level in which the RPer in question CARES about what they put forth. This isn't the "Read/React" posting of Free or even most Casual. (That 'User' thinks IS roleplaying, and folks like azarhiro are uber-comfortable with.) Does your post contribute to the narrative flow? Are you putting things in your post your other players can take and work with? Are you setting up story, or just consuming the story presented to you thus far? Are you trying to introduce new story elements, trying to keep the story and game fresh? All important. All have nothing to do with length.
hmm...so what now?
Right?
My goal is to make all my guns pink, like I have them in GTA. ^_^
Dork. ^_^ Those two left him behind.
<Snipped quote by Ruby> I was unsure whether or not she included the whole "By the way Damian almost died." bit, I figured she skimmed some details due to stress. The real question is whether or not Damian would be offended by Jason messing with his R-Cycle.
She figures Bruce will have video from the Batmobile, if nothing else, soon enough.
<Snipped quote by Rin> Just....just don't accidentally call him "Mr. Jay" because he might have a rather violent reaction. But for the most part he'll probably stand in the corner, glaring, waiting for her to go crawling back to Joker. Because they always go back eventually... PS: Jason may or may not build Damian a new R-Cycle as a "get well soon" present once he figures out the whole mutual "getting blown up" thing. I can't promise it'll fly.
I'm sure Steph's message was relay to all via Batman shortly after he got it.
