I just finished The Secret History, a very Gen X book. Never Let Me Go before that, which I'd recommend to any writer outside the MFA atmosphere who wants to know emotonal restraint.

I have not, but if it's anything like say, your Jean Grey, I'm already excited!
She's a brilliant business mind that generally appears above board, but in reality is looking to revive the Bertinelli crime family in secret, and kill a lot of people whom she suspects was part of her family's massacre. Oh, and at night she's an uber-violent vigilante named the Huntress.
Somewhere between villain and hero. Or a hero, or a villain, depending on your point of view.
Who knows if the GMs would even let her in the game. But no, nothing like Jean, who I did enjoy writing.
