Primary Botanical Elemental: S-class
(Limitation) She can create plants out of thin air but the power needed to do so is made greater or lesser by local conditions; Cacti in the Desert Easy, Kelp in the Desert extremely Difficult
Gaia can create, shape and manipulate plants, including wood, vines, plants, moss, and parts of the plants, such as leaves, seeds, fruits and flowers. She can cause plants to grow, move/attack or even rise from the soil and "walk", mutate plants by rearranging DNA structure and revive withered or dead plants.
She can use her power for defense and support by growing plants from the ground and make them sprout seeds/fruits/berries, {or even to possibly use plant chemicals to heal people or objects or manipulate their properties for a wide range of effects.} (this is an area that she’s aware is possible but hasn’t got a handle on yet)
Gaia may use this ability in a series of offensive techniques on a target. Using the plants as weapons to grasp and strike continuously with vines and roots, project thorns at a distance, and quickly regenerate the withering weapons based on Gaia’s will. She can make vines grow and climb around a target's neck, causing choking, or even strike with plants. A more subtle technique is to release damaging toxins and pheromones, affecting targets in which conditions should be treated quickly with ailments.
Botanical Communication
Gaia can communicate with all forms of plant-life, including flowers, trees, fruits, vegetables, pollen, etc. telepathically speaking, or by touching it physically. Plants can tell the her of what happened or what is happening, like helping them track someone from a long distance away, etc.
Enhanced Healing Rate / Unusual Biology
Gaia is able to photosynthesise sunlight as energy and breaths in CO2 and exhales Oxygen her biology more akin to a plant than a mammal. It is her biology that makes her better able to heal from grevious wounds such as limb loss or other; it also means she is immune to most illnesses and heals at about twice the rate a normal human would so long as she has plenty of sunlight and water.

Important info: Velma is a known Mutant because her Mother was a Mutant as well whose power was openly used as a member of a British Hero Team and her call sign was Nera a woman whose body was nearly invulnerable; She died saving the Isle of Man from some nut who was pissed he was caught before he could get it to London. Like a soldier in a trench spotting an enemy grenade Velma’s mom threw herself on the nuke containing it’s blast and other effects.
Not often a Hero dies in the line of duty and on International sports news and then the main stream because it happened in front of the camera’s there for the races held on the Island every year. Most would agree that she deserved the state funeral she received but many might also agree that the politicians 8 years ago made it a political spectacle more for their own benefit.
Many would know Velma at least once standing at age 12 in an eruption of her botanical talent by her mother’s grave.
If you watched SINN (Special Investigation News Network…..TMZ) then you know she’s been practicing international Aide using her talent to feed people in disaster areas. She’s also a favorite Meta Babe discussion piece because besides talent she is an actual Lady of Rank and her picture alone worth 10 to 20 thousand hits.
Strangely even under so intensive a scrutiny few have guessed that she is an intelligence source of the crown though not yet an official member of those services. Velma served this function because in her work as a food supply asset she encountered Warlords early on and developed a dislike for their type.
Untrained in combat Velma has shown a natural affinity to its practice especially in close quarters even making for a passable self taught quarter stave user.
Velma has worked since the age of 15 as an aide worker involved major recovery projects around the world when not involved in going to school where she just finished a Mechanical Engineering degree. (Her focus is the area of Hydroponics)

For Naomi life was so simple and this world held promises for adventure and sights few her world could match, then there was the chance for learning new philosophies and speaking to beings 1,000 years old. Who knew perhaps she'd meet a Royal Family that wanted to retain her as a teacher so that she could become part of a legend. In the end it didn't matter if she lead from this day on a life of quiet contemplation writing down her philosophy for future generations to follow and debate her true meaning.

So reaching into one of her 6 pockets hidden in her long dress Naomi pulled out one of her pens and her thoughts notepads which she used to keep ideas she had during the day.

Today I stand at the beginning of a journey into the unknown; perhaps I look at it in too positive a light, but who wants to start a trip with a head filled with negative thought. To our Guide, Donny we owe much and I pray risk his safety not but should his life be threatened I vow his safety so long as I have the strength to move.

I appear to be a Monk Class individual though I have only visited Monastery in France, Italy and England curious about their histories never to consider the life isolated and pious found there. I am a New Order of Monk and must begin to consider what that means.

Donny please forgive the unrestrained stupidity of the gunman, for the life of me I cannot fathom why he’s so angry.

I do not believe in such violent displays, especially should they disturb a horse without cause.

Soon as we held the stones we'd know something had changed about us, the next is to accept that what the woman who released us said about the stones abilities as true. Accepting that means we now have to use our minds to focus them which means an exercise of will and confidence; as an acrobat Laura has to trust herself and others, she must focus on the risky signature stunts.
