Tomari is what might be called ripped her body honed to it’s best condition by her father’s intensive training schedule. Her areas of concentration are 100, 200, 800, and 1,000 meters

Tomari was forced by her dad’s total lack of culinary skills and no new woman of the house in sight to learn to cook at an early age and has become a cook he raves to his friends who come over that will require he kill any boy who tries to take her.

Tomari’s dad owns a 16 meter sailboat named the Oka which he and she spent time sailing the Islands for the past several years

Tomari has learned to be an excellent Manga artist through association with those that work on her Dad’s books and her dad himself

Personality: Tomari is a Tomboy who hates having to wear the school Girl’s uniform because it doesn’t allow for girls to wear pants meaning she has to beware of the Ecchi on trains and school looking up her skirt. 

She is usually an easy going girl but once she is angry is a volcanic type who is physically able to be a threat to those she’s ticked off by.

She is a Daddy’s girl but independent in nature though if she starts talking about her dad people have little doubt who her hero is.

Focused in school and in sports she keeps most of her life beyond the walls of the school to herself

Biography: Tomari is an only child her mother dying when she was only 7 in a helicopter crash as she covered the rescue of a fishing crew whose craft had capsised in a Typhoon. Her father was a pitcher for the Tokyo Dragons at the time at the top of his career which plummeted in his dark depression; he almost forgot he had a daughter.

For two years Tomari was forced to see to her own needs and act as the woman of the house at only 7 to 9 years old she and he dad subsisting on Takeout and Delivery. That is till her Godfather and her Dad’s College Pitching coach intervened shaming her dad to his senses by packing Tomari’s things and telling him take if he wouldn’t be a father to her he would.  

It was no instant fix getting her dad dry of his habits that had threatened to kill him and leave his daughter alone in the world but he fought back to reality in the only way he knew how; he wrote it down even including some of his drawings. Before he discovered his talent as a pitcher Tatsunoko Hiro was an up and coming Dōjinshi having won prizes in middle school. It was this former talent that saved him and Tomari from losing it all when his own Manga came out making him the King of Romantic Tragedy and now Comedy.

When she was 9 something happened to Tomari he dad says his love made her grow but grow she did so that by the time she was 10 going on 11 she was almost a head taller than other girls her age and taller by 10 centimeters many boys. But unlike most children who explode with growth she was not clumsy, in fact she was graceful and fast. 

It was when she was in middle school Tomari’s dad saw her in a field competition run in the 1’000 meter and unofficially break the national girl’s record in her age bracket with a time of 2:57 shattering the existing one by 17 seconds. His old desire for competition woke once more and he knew if he pushed her hard enough by college his daughter could represent Japan on the world stage in the olympics and her status as a champion carry her into a good college even with her good but only above average grades.

Some people complain their dad’s don’t spend enough time with them but Tomari’s problem was just the opposite because her Dad was his own boss setting his own hours which allowed him to be there all the time. He drove her like she was not his daughter but as he put it a warrior in the completion of speed. Windsprints, Lunges, 10K every weekend, High Protein diet, Lots of Carbs, and when that was done haunting the Akihabara and hidden Bookstores as far as the rails allowed them to travel.

Her dad besides writing and art is an expert and prodigious collector of obscure Manga; an Otaku of the art like few others. 

When she was 14 Tomari’s dad released the Manga “Dreams in the Sunlight” and those around him quickly saw that what he’d done was make his daughter the star of the story “Nanbu Miki” who was the girl every boy wanted but could never catch, the daughter every parent dreamed of and held their kids up to, and the Golden Girl of her school. Tomari’s life is nothing like Miki’s but they share physical characteristics, personality and anyone with eyes can see he based Miki’s look off of hers down to hair style.

A large number of women started following their sailor-husbands to sea, and in the British navy during the eighteenth century, a few women even joined their husbands on battleships. The British Admiralty officially did not allow women on board, but records show that captains often let the wives of officers join the ship and share their husbands' cabins or hammocks and food rations.

Why would a woman leave home to travel on a ship of war? Many had no home or money while their husbands were at sea. The ship provided a home and a chance to share life, however harsh, with their husbands. The wives worked on the ship, mending or cleaning clothes or serving as captains' maids. In battle, they attended the wounded or carried gunpowder; a few were wounded themselves.
