It's like...I found her funny, and hilarious, but...I dunno. Something about her just doesn't sit right with me.
I don't trust her, even after I convinced her to return the book to the Arishok or whatever that was xP

@Rune_Alchemist Meril is quite the powerful pull for Da2, and I enjoyed Hawke. Main gripe was how the world felt so small in comparison, but I had just played Dao to 100% completion right befor playing Da2 for the first time.

Eh, I could never do that. Origins was fun, and the world was huge and all, but it...I dunno, something about it just felt so...slow compared to DA2.
Can't really explain it. I do think the world was just the right size for the game, though. You weren't some big adventurer. You were just a guy trying to live your life peacefully in Kirkwall...and ended up getting roped into all sorts of nonsense.
I went with a neutral good Hawke in DA2 (the kind of jokester one) and I wound up going with Isabel just because their personalities ended up working so well together XD
Isabel...I honestly don't like her so much, and that is surprising considering I love pirates.

Most people do like Origins more than two, and I guess I can understand why...
but I like DA2, more. Mostly because I like Hawke so much. I like the fact that the protagonist actually speaks, instead of just having a menu of words to chose from.
Also, the combat system was ten times better in my opinion. Less slow, and I feel like magic was ten times better.
Also, Merril.
I will vote for DA2, simply because Merril is so damn adorable.
