If you get into college right out of highschool, take an ungodly amount of classes (like, 5 every single day, and are there from seven in the morning to five in the afternoon.) for two straight years - including summer - Anything is possible, my friend xP

I suppose I could have made Kei have the disability to begin with...but, eh, I dunno. Wouldn't have been as fun writing a character who has yet to adjust. And there really wasn't that many ways to make someone mute, barring cancer from smoking...and other things that would have been present at birth. Spent all night researching that xP
