Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

-Katherine Sinclair-

Kat made it to the playground easily enough, though she kept her eyes and her ears open for any sign of trouble. Getting ambushed by something wasn't one of her ideas of a 'fun time'. As she approached she took in the layout of the place. She spotted a few chess tables, likely used by some old people who didn't have anything better to do. Or egg-heads who didn't know how to have fun. Either way, it wasn't likely they were of any consequence. So she turned her attention to the swing sets.

They were, indeed moving without a breeze or any seeming force of an outside influence. If that wasn't odd, she didn't know what was. The creaking of the other attractions weren't helping in the slightest to stave off the feeling that she was being watched, or that something really bad was going to happen. Though what happened next...was not what she had expected at all.

A soft sob filled the air, followed by a torrent of sand washed over her without warning. Thankfully her force-field kept sand from getting into places that would be uncomfortable. Mostly. The wave still pushed her, however, knocking her off balance and momentarily making her lose her footing from the surprise attack - well, she assumed it was an attack, what else could it be?

Which made what happened next even more strange. The sand formed a six-foot wide mass, taking the form of something she had never seen before - being someone who didn't really play video games that much and spent most of her time working, polishing her guns and drinking, she didn't recognize the vague shape the creature had taken, but that wasn't important.

What was important, was the fact it was attempting to hug her.

Just...what the fuck? Just what?

The turn of events was strange to say the least, but...if this thing was hugging her, maybe it was intelligent in some way - or at least didn't have hostile intentions? Still, she wasn't just going to let it do what it wanted too until she knew for sure. So, she expanded her force-field outwards, hopefully shoving the creature back and giving her enough time to draw her gun with one hand, and grab that ice-grenade with her other. Aside from probably exploding and alerting the others, it could also probably slow this guy down a bit if she had too.

"I'm gonna ask you reaaaal nicely once. What do you want?" Of course, that was assuming it could understand her, and speak itself.
~Ceri~

"Eeep!" Was all Ceri could respond to the hug with. Not that she really minded a hug from Illedrith, quite the opposite. She was just startled by the rather suddenness of the act. Still, she returned the hug as best she could, already feeling much better about this whole thing. Illedrith's words, giving the small girl much needed comfort, and when she finally released Ceri, the small girl only gave a quiet giggle, giving Klisa a grin from under her hood.

Maybe today wouldn't be so bad after all.

The walk to town was uneventful for the three of them. Ceri was of course, dressed in her blue robe and sticking close to Klisa. So far, things had been quiet. Fairly pleasant, even, much to Ceri's delight. The people were pretty friendly, though she still didn't like the crowds, but as long as she didn't get separated from Mis or Klisa, she'd be fine.

The peace didn't last long, though.

"Ria, what have you done this t-AAAHH! AGAIN?!? Ria, you can't keep freezing random citizens in blocks of ice like this!! Don't you remember how angry the guildmistress was at you last time?? What were you thinking? Unfreeze him immediately!"

The sudden shouting caused Ceri to instinctively flinch, taking a few steps back from Illedrith and moving closer towards Klisa. As much as she liked her, loud noises would never be a welcome thing for Ceri, even if it was one of her friends doing the shouting. Of course, she didn't say anything though. Mis was right - Ria, a guild mate had frozen someone. That was rather mean, and something she might have reprimanded Ria for if she was asked her opinion on it.

"Well well well, two little harlots appear in a Golem event and they attack the citizenry? Tch tch tch. That's no good... Maybe you two ought to leave"

And then things got worse. Much worse.

She recognized the voice immediately. Vega Ashworth. Out of everyone in the golem's hand guild, aside from that other creepy guy she forgot the name of, she disliked him the most. Aside from him constantly messing with her, he liked to shove and push her. She had already told both Klisa and Mis about these incidents, but he still seemed keen on doing it. She simply fixed the man with a harsh glare from under her robe, though it didn't stop her from wilting and hiding behind Klisa just ever so slightly.

"Enough."

The voice was loud enough to be heard by their little group. Ceri was too focused on Vega to react much though, still fixing him with a wary glare as the new person walked up. She didn't like fighting, not at all, but she was honestly tired of Vega's bullshit. The next time he did something, she might very well teach him a lesson herself. Last time she had said some rather unkind things to him, and she'd likely do it again.

"The guildmaster had arranged this event as the founding of the guild, not for the purpose of prohibiting Harpy's Wings members from joining. If you have a problem with this decision, take it with me. Ria, I would advice you not to propagate the misuse of your powers at our festival. Illedrith reprimand her as needed."

Ceri noted the other person was another member of Golem's Hand. Rei, she believed his name was. She didn't know much about him, other than she thought he was rather intimidating, though after this incident she might have to re-evaluate her assumptions a little, though he was still intimidating. Maybe just a bit more friendly then she thought, especially considering he got rid of Vega. That earned him quite a few points in her book, though she still didn't seem to relax quite so much with him there.

"A-ah...M-maybe we could get...something to eat?" She quietly asked Klisa and Mis. She was a bit hungry, and that was one of the reasons she wanted to be here, too. Plus she could go for something to distract her from the rather close brush with Vega.

First post up. Sorcha had a hell of an entry XD

Well, she likes 'flashy' entrances.

She couldn't summon her storm clouds though. Pity, because she would have done that and would have probably have much more of an impact~ xD
Mooorning people~

And ooh. Missed a bit while I was asleep.

Will work on a reply~
@KiltmanBagz@Lord Sawsaw2

Sorry that took awhile, but there is your post xP

EDIT:
And now I'm off to bed. Night all~
~Ceri~

High atop the guild, sat a girl in a blue robe. The robe obscured her appearance for the most part, only a few locks of white hair ever being seen aside from her bright blue eyes and the occasional showing of pale skin. She hardly ever took it off, except to bathe or to wash it, and she never had done that with someone else, and the hood always seemed to stay firmly in place even if it was messed with. Needless to say, no one in the guild had ever actually seen her face, save for possibly two of her closest friends, Klisa and Illedrith.

She should probably be with them, today, actually. It was a festival after all and she did want to go see what kinds of delicious foods they had. She had heard all kinds of people talk about it in the town recently, and she couldn't help but to be curious about it. Two small problems though. One, it was a festival held by their rival guild, and while she didn't dislike any of them except that one guy, she was never really confident around them by herself, and realistically speaking she'd likely run into them.

Secondly, she was never a fan of crowds to begin with, and she'd be lying if she said she was terrified of going, just a tiny bit.

So, out of a bit of fear and not knowing what to do, she had climbed to the top of the guilds base and found a rather relaxing spot. Her legs were dangling over the edge of the branch, swinging idly as she watched the town in the distance. For someone so timid, it didn't seem like she had much of a fear of heights. She could hear a few sounds of the festival all the way up here, and she might just have contented herself with just sitting here for the rest of the day, had Klisa not found her.

She heard the dragon slayer before she saw her. It could be said her hearing was on par with Klisa's sense of smell, considering she often fought using it instead of her sight.

Klisa took a seat next to her, commenting on the spot she found.

"Ehe...it's pretty nice...quiet, and the breeze is pretty nice too." She replied, agreeing with Klisa. She turned her head to her friend, giving her a small, gentle smile from under her hood - though Klisa wouldn't be able to see it. It quickly wilted into an unsure frown as Klisa continued speaking, though, causing her to turn her gaze towards the ground far below them.

Klisa was right, of course. The only thing that would help her get over this was just going out there and meeting people. Plus, she'd love nothing more than to go to the festival with Klisa and Mis, but she still wasn't sure about it. The chances of something bad happening were quite high. Higher than the tree she was currently sitting in.

She turned back to Klisa, seeing her smile and the hand held out to her. An invitation like that? She couldn't possibly refuse. She didn't want to upset her, after all, and well...if Klisa and Mis was with her...well, maybe everything would turn out fine.

"A-ah...uhm," She stuttered. Her face turned a bit red under the robe as she tried to form a decent sentence, causing her to grab the edge of her hood with both hands in an attempt to pull it further down her face. "Y-you're right..." She quietly replied, releasing her hood. "It's a festival...so we should go have fun, and u-uhm, love to go with you..." She took Klisa's hand, and stood before adding a bit quickly. "A-and Mis."

Agreeing to go to the festival, Ceri and Klisa made their way off of the branch, and back down to the floor of the guild where Illedrith was waiting for them. Thankfully, now that Ceri was a little motivated they made it to her in only a few moments. Upon seeing her, Ceri gave Illedrith a friendly wave, the long sleeve of her robe hiding her hand and instead caused it to flop around rather comically. She walked over to Illedrith, completely calm. If there was one person Ceri was most comfortable around, it would be Mis.

"Hi, Mis." She quietly greeted her, fidgeting a bit under her robe. "Sorry for making you wait..."

Still didn't stop her from being timid, though.
Alrighty, finished my stuff and gonna get to work on a post!~
Oh look.

I finally posted xP

Do tell if there are any problems with Sorcha's intro xD
-Livia Fiore-

Livia kept a brisk pace as she moved through the school towards the Cafeteria, Gall by her side making quite a few people give her some space. Having a living avatar of death in the vicinity tended to make people do that. Normally, during classes she'd simply go to the library and do some reading. Now though, she was feeling a bit hungry and while she didn't really want to eat in a place with so many people...eating in the library was not something she particularly liked.

She didn't want to risk damaging the books, after all.

She could always return to her room, but...she didn't want to be in the same room as that bratty kid. Emi would be tolerable, though, but she wasn't going to go out of her way to find her.

"Ugh, crowded as usual." Livia sighed, moving carefully through the people until she reached a table close to one of the windows. She sat down, before turning to Gall. "If you're feeling well enough after last night, mind getting something for me?" She asked her reaper. She was, of course, referring to the fact he had literally lost his head. She had spent the better part of ten minutes helping the headless reaper find his head. It would probably have appeared quite funny if someone had stumbled on them last night. "You know what I like, I'm not that picky. Just make sure you get tea if they have it."

Sorcha Ó Maoilriain

Ahh....how long had it been since she was able to fly so freely like this? Soaring through the air without a care in the world for this long? Centuries, almost. Ugh, her wings were so stiff though, even with all the practicing she'd been doing, so she hoped she found this little island soon. As much as she loved flying, she was feeling a bit tired. She could even go for some food, actually. Maybe a whole cow. Possibly a horse. Hopefully she could con receive tribute from a human soon after landing.

As soon as she found this accursed island.

She had been flying for hours, sweeping the area for any sign of the Liseranna academy. She, of course, figured it'd be somewhat difficult to find, but she didn't think it'd take her anywhere near an hour. She liked to think her navigation skills were top notch, after all. Besides, one such as her didn't get lost obviously. She was a being of the sky! A goddess! Such a thing was impossible. Which meant either two things. Her directions were wrong, or the island was somehow magically moving. She had heard of this infamous director, and she wouldn't be surprised if he had devised such a contraption.

Realistically, that probably wasn't likely, so she blamed shoddy directions since of course, it couldn't be a total lack of a sense of direction.

"Ah...I hope these mages don't disappoint me when I arrive." She mused silently to herself. Indeed, she hoped they didn't. It was a bit odd for her to actively seek out mages, considering she disliked most of them ever since the first time she became a familiar. Now, though, she had a reason for wanting to seek them out and become the familiar of one. She wasn't keen on taking a student as a familiar, but it was the best way to accomplish her plans.

What better way to recover her own strength, then with a human who was also learning? Perhaps it was a bit odd for a proud creature like her, but she felt that would offer her more of an opportunity to return to her former strength, and possibly even beyond that. Besides, if she was with that human...she was confident she could push them in the direction of 'greatness'.

That was her ultimate goal here, after all. Once, she was a force to be reckoned with. People trembled when they spoke her name, fearing that even mentioning it would bring her storms to their doorsteps. Now, she was little more than a myth forgotten to time, thanks to that war. She frowned, a slight snarl forming on her lips as she thought back to that time and the events that transpired.

She, however didn't get much of a chance to ponder the events. As she was flying, she suddenly slammed full speed into a barrier of sorts, earning an ungodly like curse from the dragon.

"Fucking-who puts a barrier in the middle of the ocean!?" It indeed, almost sounded like a roar and was likely heard by anyone with keen ears below. It did not take her long to put two and two together though. This was probably a barrier protecting Liseranna. Ugh, her ungraceful discovery of the place aside, she was glad she finally found it. At least no one saw that little blunder.

...well, those were her thoughts before the barrier suddenly vanished before she could start flying again, sending her spiraling towards the ground. Well, nothing a little creative acrobatics couldn't fix. Ooh, she should take this opportunity to make an impression on the little humans too.

Heh.

To the people in and just outside of the cafeteria, it was probably a normal day for most. They were clamoring for food, and were probably eager to finally eat and socialize after their classes. It was a pleasant day, bright sunny sky, not a cloud in the sky. Most were definitely not expecting the bright flash of lightning, the appearance of a fabled dragon; A creature of myth and immeasurable power, descending from the heavens.

Sorcha allowed herself to fall, lightning arcing across her body as she scanned the ground for a suitable crowded place she could land. She was quite high up, so she could correct her course if she had too, but she was going mostly on the path she wanted too anyways. While the city looked like it was indeed crowded, she wanted to land near the bulk of students, after all. She wanted them to revel in awe of her magnificence.

She quickly approached the ground, doing a flip in the air to angle her feet towards it, and giving her wings a powerful flap, slowing her descent just enough so that she could take the landing without messing up.

At least, that was her aim.

To the humans below, it would appear as though a large, brilliant flash of lightning struck the ground - coming straight from the heavens on this storm less, cloudless day. The force was large enough to send a few tables flying, even charring them a little from being too close. Indeed, it was probably even temporarily blinding to the students who had been looking in that direction, which worked greatly to her advantage to cover up her blunder.

Her feet hit the ground, to be sure, but she was still going much too fast. She was greatly over-estimating her recovered strength here. Instead of the graceful landing she wanted, she fell flat on her face. The dragon quickly recovered, though, and only the most keen of eyes would have seen the blunder. Or those who would notice the dirt smudge on her forehead could maybe put two and two together.

But to the rest, as the flash of lightning dispersed and their vision returned to normal, she would simply have appeared from the flash of lightning, a calm, expression on her face as she observed those who were outside, and those who were still gathering to gawk at the display. Her wings flapped idly once, sending a fairly strong gust of wind through the crowd as she reached for her glaive, holding it in her right hand, still arcing with electricity.

"Greetings, humans." She said. Her voice was soft, yet still carried a heavy and regal, and commanding weight behind it. "I, am Sorcha, Radiant King of the heavens and the Wandering Tempest of the North."

The greeting was followed by a rather loud rumble of her stomach, causing her to turn every so slightly red, but only chuckle in response. Really, it probably sounded like the roaring of some large animal, and was quite obvious where it came from.

"Yes yes, I know you are all hungry. I interrupted you at your lunch time, but your sustenance can wait. I simply require an answer to my question, then you may all be sent on your way. Is this perhaps Liseranna?" She scanned the crowd that had gathered in front of her, waiting for a response to her rather, spectacular entrance if she did say so herself. This was partly a test. She knew very well this was her destination, but she simply wished to see how the student body in general reacted to her presence, and her question.
