Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

Hmm...I would assume, even if they are shared, Eirwen wouldn't let her cook for anyone else.

My slave cooks = my food, not not yours.

But that's just her mentality. If someone asks nicely she could be persuaded to let the other have her food.
Finally did a thing :D

So, we'll probably be getting to the first little event soon, so, just post what your characters are doing and stuff and maybe possibly cause mischief or something~
~Amelia Xylander~

"Also, missy, you can choose not to acknowledge us due to the directive she has enforced, but, I just want to tell you I'm sorry for almost inflicting some pain on you indirectly... I'll restrain myself from causing any mischief for the noble for your sake, ok? And yours too for various reasons..."

Amelia sighed in relief. That could have gotten out of hand so very quickly, especially if the noble decided she didn't like the way he was acting. She could have always ordered him to not to...but that would have likely upset Okori and left an equally bad taste in her mouth.

Thankfully the noble seemed to be content to ignore them for now...or rather, sleep instead of speak with them. Amelia had to wonder if there was a reason behind that. Now that she thought about it, the girl looked like she was rather sleep deprived. She hummed quietly as her curiosity went a bit off tangent. Perhaps she should ask about that. Maybe she was just being grumpy because she was tired? A logical conclusion, maybe, but not one she could think much more about before Okori was already back with his usual shenanigans.

"After all, what would happen if you couldn't give any belly rubs when I'm in my gargantuan form? Oh the humanity!"

"Sable~" She replied with a quiet giggle. She could never stay upset at the cheeky little fox for long.

"Say, Amelia, you want to take a break from all the walking? I wouldn't mind carrying you until we set up camp."

"What? But then I wouldn't be able to see any interesting specimens if I see them!" She said, as if that was the obvious answer. That, and she wasn't tired at all. Walking wasn't something she was adverse too, and often times she walked a lot in pursuit of her geological studies. So this wasn't anything tiring to her. "Besides! We're almost there, so it wouldn't really matter, you silly fox~"

Sure enough, if he were to look towards the forest, he'd find them maybe a half hour away from it. The massive trees loomed in the distance as the sun sunk below the horizon. A cool wind blew some leaves through the caravan, one landing on the head of Lucca as they approached.

~Randall Durant, Expedition Lead~

-Arrival and setting up camp-

Randall had spent most of the latter half of the trek conversing with Roland. Well, he couldn't say the company was unwelcome. The rank and file soldiers didn't exactly make for pleasant conversation, though it wasn't like he was trying very hard. He was too busy thinking about how everything could go horribly, horribly wrong before they even step foot in the forest. The lists of things was far, with varying degrees of 'we're totally fucked'. The list of things only increased the further they got away from Themis.

But he didn't let anyone know. He kept a face of friendliness and calm. Worrying the others wasn't going to help. He was the leader here, after all, and it was his job to make sure such things didn't happen. He may not have been a soldier or have much experience with being a leader quite like Alena did, but damn it he knew how to get things done, and done well. With any luck, a good night of rest at the edge of the forest would improve his own spirits. Maybe he might actually start believing in this Lady Serafina seriously if nothing happened.

Well, he'd find out how lucky he was soon enough. They had arrived at the edge of the forest.

Randall pulled the wagon he was on to a halt. They didn't have much daylight left to set up camp; The sinking sun was already casting long, ominous seeming shadows. He had to remind themselves they were just shadows, and a completely natural phenomena. No creature was going to jump out at them.

...hopefully.

At any rate, Randall took a look around, quickly finding a suitable spot to make a decently sized camp for them. Randall hopped off the wagon, and turned to one of the soldiers. Noticing the emblem on his armor that marked him as probably the highest ranking soldier here. He was wearing the standard armor of the Royal Guard. Solid, but easy to move in silver plate armor with red trimmings. At his side, was the typical sword and shield one might find any soldier trained with.

"You the highest ranking soldier here?" He asked.

"Yes sir." He saluted "Ashton Bishop. Personally trained by Captain Alena. I'm the leader of the troops sent on this expedition. Of course, I take orders from you, though. I'll handle the rest of them, they shouldn't have a problem if the orders come from me." Randall furrowed his eyebrows, rubbing his chin in thought.

"Alright. We'll make camp over there," He said, pointing to an area not far away. "I want your guards patrolling the perimeter all night, and I want it done in pairs. I don't care how good your men think they are - we don't know what's in that forest."

Ashton nodded.

"Aye, sir. Consider it done. Standard protocol when making camp, so the guys won't complain. We'll secure the area around the campsite, make sure there's not going to be anything that jumps us. I'll have the rest of them help with setting up camp." He replied. Randall nodded, sighing somewhat tiredly.

"Alright If you see anything at all that looks like it might be trouble...well, you know what you're doing." Randall dismissed Ashton, who went and addressed the soldiers, barking orders at them to hurry up and get their ass in gear. Randall looked back at the looming trees of the forest. He'd likely have to send someone in to see how things looked in the forest...try and see just how they were going to get through. They may have to spend a few days here to try and figure out a good path through...plus, there was no telling just how big this forest actually was.

Shaking his head, he went to go help the others set up camp.

Thankfully, with the trained soldiers setting up the site didn't take too long at all. Within half an hour, the tents had been pitched and everything had been set up. Campfires were going, and food was being made for the travelers.

~Eirwen Soyala~

Eirwen spent most of the way there sleeping. Like she had ordered, Tamia hadn't woken her when they had stopped to make camp. Unfortunately, with all the noise being caused by the soldiers and other people setting everything up, sleep was difficult at best. even without Tamia waking her, she woke up only a few minutes after Ashton started barking orders. Well, it had been a nice little rest, but only a little rest after all. She would have liked to sleep more, but that was it.

When she woke on Tamia's lap, she didn't even seem to notice. She just sat up, gave a loud yawn and looked around, quickly gathering that they had stopped for the evening and were likely about to make camp. Well, they were going to make camp. She wasn't going to be doing any labor herself at all. She was much to important to resort to such menial labor and tasks. That was a job for Tamia and the others. So after thanking Tamia for not waking her when they stopped, she promptly ordered the slave to go about setting up their sleeping arrangements. She supervised of course, though that mostly consisted of her munching on some more apples she had pilfered and occasionally telling Tamia how to do something correctly, even if she probably didn't need too.

After that had been done, the young noble had told Tamia to make her some actual food, which she was what currently waiting on.

She was sitting next to a small fire that had been made, waiting for the slave to finish whatever she was currently making.
@Savo Took ya long enough! :|

I'll get to work on getting us to the forest sometime later today. I have a few things I gotta take care of.

Like no one was expecting it at some point when Misa walked in in a towel.
~Misa~

As Misa's antennae was pulled for a third time that day, a small squee noise left her lips as she jumped slightly from the touch, allowing Kyo the room he needed to get out from under her. Seriously! Why was it alright to pull on her antennae and not pull on anyone elses' stuff? If they quit, she might just have half a mind to be nicer to all of them! didn't they understand the words 'sensitive'?! Meh, whatever. That was just her life. Get stuck with the idiots who she didn't like, and who didn't like her.

She rubbed her abused antennae with a hand, and proceeded to glare at everyone present. Ugh, maybe she should just let the mob kill these guys.

...meh, no, that'd just be stupid.

"Don't Misa-Chan and Kyosuke-Kun look cute together? You two get along so well."

"Well, I won't deny that they'd make an interesting pair, da. I'd ship it. What do ya think Ryu? OTP material? What would we even call this pairing, da? I'm drawing a blank here."

...Then again, working for the mob probably paid better and she could take care of the idiots that pissed her off. She didn't have anything nearby to throw, so she settled on the next best thing. Hovering slight above the ground, and appearing very annoyed.

"Oi! What makes you think I like this bloodbag?!" Misa shouted, eyes going a bit wide at even the suggestion. She pointed a claw to Kyouske. "The only thing he's good for is stinkin' up the house with his stench!" Another arm was halfway stretched out, her hand balled up into a little fist, attempting to appear slightly threatening towards the rest of them, though chances were that failed. "I bet he even tastes nasty! Probably full of nothing but junk food and artificial yuck stuff. He's not even comfortable to sit on! He's the lowest of lowest human!"

with all of her gesturing, hovering, and shouting, she conveniently forgot to hold up her towel and with each word it loosed slightly, before falling off of her completely. The towel fell to the floor, revealing her naked form to the entire house, though she seemed entirely unfazed by it. It did seem to calm her down, though, just a bit.

"And-and...ah goddamn it! I don't even care. Do what you idiots want. I'm gonna...gah, I need some fresh air. Breathing the same air as you morons is making my brain cells commit." With that, she landed, grabbed the towel and threw it over her shoulder, not even bothering in the slightest attempt to cover herself in front of Kyouske. Though she did stop to give the human one last glare as she did so.
Will get to work on a post soon~

The bunny and monkey are dead.

Sigh...

Looking at Tamia...maybe she had just overdone it a bit.

So tiring...

She hadn't meant to make the slave cry. Most of her other slaves back at home had been...well, witch her since she was little. As far as she knew, most weren't...that scared of her, were they? Certainly she had to discipline a few if they did something obviously against what she told them, but for the most part she liked to think she got along relatively well with her slaves. A level of fear was appropriate of course, but it didn't inspire loyalty in slaves. One had to take good care of their tools, after all, and a tool that was sad or crying wasn't going to be working as well as it should.

Yawn....so troublesome...

She looked at her slave, unsure of what she should do. Giving her a small pat on the head seemed appropriate. She seemed to enjoy that, but she wasn't going to do the same as that insufferable other woman. So she simply sighed, and continued to speak.

"First of all, while you are my property, your name is Tamia." A little bit of Independence wasn't bad. In fact, it was good for a slave to be able to think for themselves at times instead of being a mindless drone, only able to act when commanded. That and she was too tired more often than not to command them as such.

"I have very few rules, Tamia, and I like to think myself as merciful. Two, what I expect from you, is to follow my orders and stay close to me at all times. Three, you are free to do whatever else you wish as long as you don't stray to far from me without my permission. Four, you're not to do anything else for anyone other than me without my permission." Her words were interrupted by a yawn, covering her mouth with her free hand, seeming to space out for a moment before continuing.

"Hmm...and you have nothing to make up for..." Her words seemed a little less vigorous than before, almost sleepy sounding and her eyes were half closed. It was clear she was probably actually going to fall asleep soon, though she was making an effort to stay awake just a bit longer. She'd like to avoid any more incidents like this in the future. "I was...careless in not telling you the rules of being...mine earlier. Be a good...little kitten from here on out...and that will be enough for me..."

Another loud, long yawn.

"That...said...I am tired...and am lacking in pillows..."

Unfortunately, before she could actually sleep now that she felt like it...something else happened.

"Heya, hiya there,"

His loud, over excitable voice was grating on her ears.

"You seem rather harsh, no? Can't handle a good jest? I mean, trying to lighten up the party isn't so horrible; I mean, if I could be frank, it seems you two got off on the wrong foot!~ You both should kiss an make up!... So whadaya waiting for you two, get to kissing and put some make up on!"

...

"Annoying mongrel...." she grumbled tiredly as he continued to speak.

"But really, why do you have such cruel tendencies? Wouldn't it be wiser to stay friendly to garner more allies versus creating more enemies?"

Eirwen sighed. Today wasn't just going well at all, was it? First that...Katherine girl and now this Fox thing. He was lucky she could barely keep her eyes open at the moment or she'd have dealt with him.

"I don't know you....familiar..." Her words were interrupted by another yawn. "But if you are trying to take the moral high ground here, perhaps you need to gain a better perspective than your own selfish holier-than-thou one you currently have."

With that, her head drooped, coming to a rest on Tamia's shoulder as she couldn't keep her eyes open any longer. She didn't seem to acknowledge his presence any longer.

"Hmm...one...last rule...if I am asleep...do not wake me unless...good reason..." Soon, sleep had taken the noble, she was snoring ever so softly.

~Amelia Xylander~

"Ooh, ooh, what if, What if we discover that lost civilization is truly in the depths of the forest! Maybe there might be a tale or two carved into the trees! Spriggans, sprites, who knows?"

"Oh, an ancient ruin in the middle of the forest!~" She giggled. She was honestly getting a little excited at the thoughts that the Kitsune was suggesting. "That would be just the best! I do hope we'd be able to stop if there was one!" After all, who knew? No one had ever thoroughly explored the forest on account of the danger involved.

"Though, if I could be quite frank, I would prefer it to be somewhere regarding stone, as I know that you would go into a frenzy over the place, explaining every detail about the place!~ After all, that's what I love about you; it's something I could never get tired of! Plus we might be able to procure for you that golem you have been dreaming to get, eheh.~"

Amelia visibly blushed a bit at that. She was certain that Okori was just talking as he always did, but...well, hearing him say that always made her a bit happy. He had been the only one she had ever met that had simply shared her love of knowledge in general.

"I still think a golem that could shape-shift into a shadow frog would be beneficial."

And then he made her laugh like a little schoolgirl.

"Sable! I told you no golem would want to turn into something so squishy you silly little fox~" She said with a loud bout of laughter. She continued to listen to the fox. Interesting companions? Perhaps...she wasn't really looking forward to spending time with them. She wasn't really looking forward to talking with that noble looking woman or the mage, either. She had noticed the conflict that was going on and would have rather not gotten involved.

"Apologies, but I need to handle something that is irking me; I'll return to your side momentarily Amelia."

Oh no.

"O-okori! Wait!" She used his actual name, something she wouldn't have normally done. It had slipped out, just a bit to be honest. She would have attempted to stop him, but he left before she could, and physically speaking he was faster than she was. A small twinge of worry formed in her stomach. This wasn't good. If he angered the noblewoman further, it'd only serve to make things worse, for him and the slave most likely.

She quickly followed after, but unfortunately by the time she arrived he had already seemed to have finished...thankfully the Noble didn't seem to be paying much attention to him. For once, a nobles arrogance may have saved them some trouble.

"S-sable, please."
She said, giving him a look of worry. "You're...not helping things at the moment."

~Eirwen Soyala~

Laughter. There was laughter...from both this woman and her pet. How utterly humiliating. How utterly infuriating. She could handle this unknown woman laughing at her. After all, she was beneath her. But her pet? Tamia? One who should be loyal to her? Toys that were broken...were thrown out. Toys that didn't please their owner? Trashed. Toys that hurt or injured their owner? disciplined. Even if the cat hadn't done anything too wrong at the moment, since she had yet to lay down any ground rules, this woman....

"If I stripped down, it would blind them I agree. Though not with what you might be referencing, girl. I have quite beautiful skin, if I say so myself. Sorry, I didn't catch your name. My name's Katherine. Katherine Lindall. If you want me to prove it, I can show you and the cute little kitten over there later."

Embarrassment only stalled the Soyala girl for so long. Now, there was nothing but a smoldering anger. She barely heard that last little quip, as her face distorted into a scowl, eyes glaring at this Katherine Lindall as her teeth ground together. Her hand gripped the edge of the wagon hard enough for her fingernails to scratch it. A cold wind blew past the group, and judging from the way Eirwen looked, she was visibly restraining herself from doing something.

A low growl echoed from her throat. Her blood boiled. Anger, hate, and hunger filled her thoughts. She wanted to teach this whelp a lesson that she wasn't to be disobeyed, but from the looks of things that would be a bad idea.

"No...no...this isn't good...calm down...need a distraction." Tamia should provide an ample distraction. She still needed to go over the rules, here, after all. Some nice, calm, quiet talking would do her some good. Maybe munch on another...apple...

...did that woman just give Tamia and apple when she wasn't looking? Or rather...those things did?

...

Eirwen turned her back to Katherine.

"Leave." she commanded. Any further attempts by the woman to speak would be met with nothing bu cold silence. Instead, Eirwen turned and swiped the apple from the cats hand before the cat could even do anything. She retook her seat next to her slave, still trying to banish those less than morally correct thoughts from her head. There was a time and place for everything, and losing her cool here wasn't going to be a good idea. So, instead, she took out her frustrations on the apple and hungrily devoured it. The poor apple never stood a chance, and within a minute Eirwen had already tossed the core of it out of the wagon and onto the ground.

After she was done, she turned to Tamia. Eirwen appeared much calmer, her scowl replaced with a look of obvious disapproval.

"And just what do you think YOU were doing, laughing at ME?" Her voice was surprisingly calm and even now, though her anger was obvious. Perhaps she was simply taking out what frustrations were left on the cat. Without warning, she reached for the Cat's collar, and pulled the kitten close, her face mere inches from hers. "Laughing at ME? Perhaps you'd like it better if I sent you back home?" She released the collar from her grasp, and gave the cat a few moments to catch her breath and process her words.

"Or maybe you'd like me to feed you to whatever wants to eat us first in that forest, hmm? Use you as a living distraction?" At the end of that sentence, Eirwen did what she did to show displeasure to all of her slaves.

She delivered a hard smack to the back of the cats head. It wasn't enough to actually harm the cat, but it was definitely enough to get her attention and possibly listen better. After that, Eirwen fell silent, crossing her legs and folding her arms against her chest.

Anger was so tiring...

After a few more seconds of silence passed, Eirwen sighed before speaking again, her voice losing much of the anger it had, instead, replaced by a tired sounding voice. It seemed that little outburst had tired her out more than she intended.

"...Sit." She said, pointing to the spot next to her. "We should discuss some ground rules, Tamia. It is my fault for not doing so before we left, but I was too tired, and retraining slaves is tiring. Rule number one. You. are. mine. You are not to attend anyone else, or let anyone else touch you in any fashion, but me. And if they do, you are free to break their hands or tell me so I can deal with them. Understand?"

As she spoke, she took an apple from the cart...and offered it to Tamia. A bit of an apology, maybe, or maybe just something to placate her slave and make her feel better. Either way, Eirwen didn't show much emotion behind it.

At this rate, the apples might just not make it through the night.
@Rune_Alchemist Well there's this thing called google. Either way, just dodge XD I provided an ample description of it for all of our purposes XD

Already did google.

I am not impressed xD

But eh~
Looks easy enough to kill, so yeah. I'll work on a post after food and a few other things.
