Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

Rauru, Nuun Highlands

Syna drank the alcohol quietly, keeping an ear open on the conversation Sigurd and the men were having. It was difficult to hear everything, but she got the gist of it. They weren't talking about the Subrosian at all. No surprise there, really. If they were up to illegal stuff they would never talk to a guard. Sigurd was a bit of an idiot for trying to force the information out of them. He should have tried a more subtle approach, really. She would have been more than happy to talk to them for a little money if he asked, but that opportunity was gone now.

Instead, she turned her attention to this Deku Scrub. He mentioned...a subrosian? There was a chance that could be the same subrosian those men knew. Either way, she was gonna ask about them.

"Ehrm...sorry, I'm not heading in that direction." She replied to the Scrub. "Maple would kill me if I don't come back with what she asked for in a week or so, and I'm probably going to be going further into the Highlands in the next few days." Still, there was something else she could do to perhaps help this Scrub, and get the information about that Subrosian. "Uhm, if you don't have money to hire anyone else I could pay you thirty rupees for information on that Subrosian." She continued, offering the scrub a friendly smile.

@NuttsnBolts - Hope Suu likes Mangos

It was a rather pleasant day, if she was being honest. The sun was warm, birds were singing in the distance. The bustle of the small island below her was actually pretty relaxing. Chim was curled up on her chest, snoring softly and sleeping away the day much like she'd like to. Indeed, in a few minutes she'd probably be asleep. She was already half asleep anyways, and give a few more minutes of relative calm she'd probably be asleep just as Chim was. At least, that was the plan, laying on the roof of some building. Maybe a bad plan in hindsight, but that roof was surprisingly comfortable.

And then there came the cacophony of plates falling onto the ground below. Well, she assumed them to be plates, at least, and someone just wasted some good food.

Monster. What'd the poor food ever do to you?

She lazily thought, a loud yawn escaping her lips. Well, speaking of food...she could go for something to snack on right now, actually. A small snack couldn't hurt, could it? She reached into the sack laying on the roof beside her, pulling out a Mango. Mango's from the fire nation were the best thing ever, in her opinion, and when she pulled it from the sack she didn't notice that it was her last one.

She bit into the juicy fruit, devouring it in her usual lazy manor. At least, until Chim woke up. He peered at her from behind the Mango, pouting a bit that he wasn't getting any. She rolled her eyes, and let him take a bite of the sweet fruit. He had other plans, though, and seemed to want to take the whole thing for himself. His hands wrapped around the fruit, tugging on it gently as he glared at her. She simply glared back, looking a bit annoyed. She may not like many things in life, but damn it.

No one took her food from her. Especially if said food was meat. No one touched her deliciously juicy meat.

There was a moment of brief silence between pokemon and human when the two locked eyes, simply staring down each other with a silent glare. Suddenly, Arrin pulled the fruit towards her, easily pulling Chim along with it. The fire monkey had other plans though, and used his smaller size to his advantage. He flipped, planting his feet on her forehead and using it as leverage to bounce out of her grasp.

The maneuver succeeded, and Arrin was briefly stunned by the impromptu kick, but she still had an iron grip on the Mango. The two continued to briefly struggle with the fruit, neither gaining an upper hand...right until it popped out of both of their grasp, rolled off the roof...and fell right into the head of the unsuspecting Suu below.

Arrin peered over the edge of the roof, Chim hanging onto her neck.

"Uh...oops."
Okie dokie~

well, at least they didn't have to deal with that Wyvern. It passed them overhead, a gust of wind kicking up the foul smelling muck of the swamp. However, the smell was the least of her problems. When the bell shattered, it seemed to make some undead quite angry. Groans and moans of the vile hollowed rose from the swamp, clamoring towards solid land out of the muck. She frowned under her helmet, gripping her spear tightly and taking a fighting stance. Well, she supposed she'd have to dust off her fighting skills then.

She stabbed the spear forwards, impaling one undead on the end of it. The thing flailed, groaning as it let out a last breath before she slung the spear to the side, sending it flying off and slamming into three other undead who were knocked to the ground. Quickly, she brought her spear forward again in a horizontal arc, cutting deeply into the rotten flesh of several undead, stunning them. Without waiting another second, she drove the spear forwards again, impaling the neck of one undead on it.

One tried to sneak up on her from behind, but she was aware of its presence. She side stepped to the left. The clumsy, slow creature stumbling forwards in the process, giving her ample time to bring her spear down right on its head.

"For a welcoming party, these guys aren't the banquet I was hoping for." She chuckled lightly, as she took just a moment to catch her breath.
So, where are are characters starting at, exactly? Ba Sing Se, or anywhere in the Nations? I'm cool with either, just wanted some clarification.

@Royzooka - Speaking to briefly
@Ariamis - Speaking to, walking with.

First, her vision came to her. Her eyes blinked open, a hand covering her eyes to shield them form the momentary light. Something seemed...off. She didn't know what, but she seemed to have had an odd dream last night of...somewhere else. For a few moments, she just laid there collecting her thoughts, trying to recollect the dream. She wasn't in any hurry to get to moving, after all, though the others seemed to be waking up quickly. And eventually, with all dreams hers faded. She tried to recall more, but it was a futile endeavor in the end.

Wake up!

The loud voice telling her to wake up didn't help either. In the end, she simply sighed and pushed herself up to a sitting position. Curiously, she looked around the room she was in. It was a cave, and though dark she could see fairly well anyways. A lot of other goblins were moving around, getting used to their bodies and attempting to walk. She supposed that was a good idea - some of the others were even making their way towards the edge of the cave, and well, curiosity demanded she learn what the outside world looked like.

She stood, legs shakily supporting her weight as she did so. Chances were, she'd fall if she just attempted to move right away. She moved her feet and legs instinctually, taking a more balanced stance to prevent that from happening. How she knew such a thing, didn't matter much. She knew it, but there was little reason to question it. Perhaps it had something to do with that dream last night? No matter, in the end. Before she headed towards the cave though, she noticed one of the other goblins falling and having trouble getting up. She walked over slowly and quietly, speaking carefully to the other.

"Take it slow at first." She advised the fallen goblin, though she didn't linger. While she couldn't be sure her advice would work...well, it seemed to be working for her, so that's all she could really go on. "One step at a time. Take a minute to get to know your legs a bit more."

With that, she took a few hesitant, slow steps forwards towards the entrance of the cave. Slow step after slow step eventually carried her there. Maybe not the fastest, but definitely the one with the least injuries and falls or supports.

When she arrived, she shielded her eyes from the harsh sun once again, and observed her surroundings. Looked like there was a small clearing at the entrance of their cave, before the clearing gave way to a forest. Curious. Perhaps there was something interesting she could find out there in the forest. She certainly felt rather...defenseless? Was that a good word? She looked down at her hands. Something seemed to be missing. She didn't really know what, but she'd find out later.

For now, she took a few more sure steps out into the forest, and took a look at her body in the light. She was wearing simple rags, barely covering her body. Most of the other goblins skin color was green, and so was hers - but it was a lighter shade with a mild hint of blue in it. Curious. There had to be a reason for that, and one she'd likely find out later so she didn't linger on the thought.

The forest was quiet large, from what she could see. Just how large? Well, she'd find out later. Her curiosity was driving her to find out, but she couldn't do something like that without something to defend herself with, could she? She needed something. Even a crude weapon would do. But...what exactly sort of weapon? She noticed another goblin grab a sharp rock and a long stick, tying them together with some sort of plant.

Well, now there was an idea!

She fell silent again as she observed her surroundings, unconsciously placing a hand on her chin. It took her a few seconds of observation, but she finally found a large enough rock to suit her needs. She hefted it with a grunt, it was much heavier than she had expected but it'd do. Next, she found some of those springy roots the other goblin had used and tied the rock onto the end of a smaller, arm length branch.

A makeshift club. Now that was something she could use. Now where did that other goblin go? It'd probably be a good idea to stay close. Safety in numbers and all that. Finding him just a few feet away, she walked over to the other Goblin.

"Hm...I'm Nish." She said slowly, resting the head of her newly made club on her shoulder. "Walk together? Who knows what's in this forest."
welp
