Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

~Lynn Haywood~

Lynn had elected to not listen to the chattering of her two comrades. Instead, she placed the headphones around her ears and drowned out any talking that would happen. She wasn't much in the mood for it, despite being somewhat excited about her recent capture. She was mostly enjoying the silence, as Sneasel walked alongside her. She had hopped down from her usual perch to stretch her legs for a bit, and ended up walking a bit in front of Lynn.

And then it happened faster than Sneasel or Lynn could react.

The dark type was lifted into the air, a net surrounding the smaller pokemon. Quill struggled, but her claws seemed mostly ineffective against the net for whatever reason. Lynn looked up, immediately pissed off. If it had been some sort of natural occurrence that sprang them, she'd just brush it off as bad luck. But this? This was definitely man made, and her suspicions were soon confirmed.

“Just my luck. I don’t know why you’re all out here, but you need to turn around. Route’s that way.”

She gave the man who walked up a cool glare, taking note of his knife. She wasn't going to wait for an explanation, as the explanation was simple. This fucker was trying to steal Quill...or at least mess with them in some way. His goals really didn't matter, as either way, she didn't like being fucked with. She pulled the headphones off her head, silencing the music that was playing from them.

"How about you step away from that rope before you get hurt?" Despite her anger, her voice was cold and even. It was obvious that rope was likely connected to the net Quill was caught in, and she wasn't about to let some random hobo she didn't know mess with her. She took a few threatening steps towards the guy, hand immediately going for her other pokeball. Maybe Patches would get a workout sooner than she thought he would.

Princess CB should be careful about writing checks that she can't cash ;P

Too late~

She flirts with just about everything with legs. So yeah~ xD
~Sidney Garland~

A certain hum of excitement was heard in Goldenrods famous Radio Tower today. In fact, it was the grand reopening! A reopening that many aspiring people would want to capitalize on. A reopening that one Sidney Garland was certain to capitalize on. The redhead had arrived early and had been one of the first people there. No way in hell was she gonna let this chance to slide past! A news host! What luck! She didn't actually think her flirting with the bossman would go over as well as it did, but damn. She must have seriously put on the charm.

It shouldn't be much of a surprise though, in her opinion. Multitasking and information gathering was her specialty, after all. She had been doing it since she stole that camera from her parents and used it to confirm who was sneaking into the trainers school at night. Probably took after her dad a bit in that regard, since he was a police officer.

Oh, and she was fabulous. Can't forget that. She was one-hundred percent grade A fabulous. She may not be some fancy Kalosian fashionista, or be as well endowed as some but damn it if she wasn't the best looking, classiest thing to walk into the Radio Tower. Not that she'd ever boast about such a thing. That'd be one hundred percent uncool and unfabulous, man.

As the ding on the elevator silenced the murmur of activity, Sidney was one of the first ones onto it. She gave a brief hello to the Janitor, and stepped into the Elevator and moved to the back to allow others to get on. She was dressed in her usual outfit. An expensive, but casual looking wine red suit jacket over a white shirt, with black pants and comfortable black shoes.

In one hand, she was carrying a neat looking black binder full of papers and other things she had brought with her. A fancy looking black and gold pen was hanging on it. The other was tucked into one of her pants pockets as she waited for the elevator to ascend to the appropriate floor she was going to be working on. Thankfully, it didn't take long and soon enough she stepped out.

She walked down the hall, greeting everyone with a friendly smile, wink, and a generally overall friendly introduction and a skip in her step. Aside from being in a fabulously good mood, being friendly with your co-workers made blackmailing them working with them much, much easier. She didn't stay and idly chat for long, though. She wanted to get to her new work station and get everything ready. She had a few things she had to discuss today with her new audience, but she wanted to get her show in order.

So she opened the door to the room she'd be working in - and HELLO. Cute girl alert. Sweet Arceus today was turning out fabulously. First she landed a job here, and now she was gazing at a creature more beautiful than any legendary pokemon.

...time to turn on her usual brand of charm.

"Well, I mean, I can just leave if you want, but then that means I'd miss seeing your lovely face." She greeted Gaia with a friendly smile, walking over to where she was standing. "I take it I'm a bit early, then? Sidney Garland. I apparently work here now." She chuckled. For a brief moment, Sidney had to wonder where Rubi had gone off too. Probably was up to no good as usual. The Sabeleye had a habit of causing mischief. Not that she particularly cared, as they were usually hilarious.

"So what's your name cutey?" She continued, giving Gaia her best smolder she could possibly manage. It was probably terrible, but hey - humor charmed the ladies too. "Or am I gonna be left wondering for the rest of my life about the girl who got away?~"

Terrible pickup line initiated. If it actually worked, she was gonna laugh. Well, she'd probably laugh either way.

Do not argue with The Goddess of Sound! Else she will make you sound like a horde of Graveler coming down a mountain! XD

If you've got the skills to pull it off, then there's nothing wrong with taking good and making it better :)

Unfortunately, even if she did that Sid would totally roll with it and attempt to flirt with the audience with her new voice~ xD

Gaia too, of course. Hope she likes being flirted with xP
@Rune_Alchemist Well alright then, if you're doing this for you and not for the "good of the roleplay" or something weird like that, I don't see an issue.

@Absolis

I mean, knowing Sid, when she's not running her mouth off on the talk show and stuff, she's going to be sticking her nose where it doesn't belong in her free time xD

I made the decision mostly because she'll do it anyways, since its more of a hobby of hers to do something like that, rather than a job.
<Snipped quote by Rune_Alchemist>

Then she can go meet her sound engineer who's gonna make her sound like Johto's most eligible bachelorette :)

Pfft~

Sidney doesn't need a sound engineer to sound like that.

According to her at least~
She's the best thing in all the regions, no fancy audio magic required~ xD

@Rune_Alchemist There can be two reporters you know. It's not like I made Marcus to swoop in and steal your preferred role or anything. A team of reporters would likely be more efficient than a single lone wolf anyways. Perhaps @Absolis could make a host character? It's the most fitting role for a GM.

Nah.

I want this, so it's fine.

If anything, your character can bring Sidney juicy stories, and then she can make the most outlandish, heavily exaggerated story truthful and accurate story in history~
Posts incoming later tonight~
@Absolis
So it's the first day then, and no ones started working yet? I'll have Sidney have been hired to host a talk show, then, if that's alright.
@Rune_Alchemist
Huh...Amelia and Rhodri are like, opposites in a ton of ways.
One has a support buff, one has a self buff, one has a spirit that favors mischief, and one has a spirit that favors order and law, and their spirits are opposite elements to boot.

Nifty.

huh~

I didn't even notice, but you're right. I am now interested to see how they interact with each other~
<Snipped quote by Rune_Alchemist>

Brutal. I just got up too but I'm a strange night owl/morning bird hybrid who is just happy to have gotten sleep.

I guess there's just no radio stations in my hometown, that do that. All my radio stations are either music stations or talk radio stations there's not really an in between there.

Like said not trying to start an argument just using what knowledge I have from the inside of the industry to help.

I guess in all reality it depends on whether or not we want to be a music station or a hybrid station. Either way technically DJs could do both jobs.

I Unno not my roleplay

Well, you have to remember. The Radio Tower is probably bigger than what it is in the games. Even then, there's more than one show/station being hosted there.

So there could very well be a talk show of some sort. Although, if it was a sole talk show Sidney would probably need a co-host to harass work with for it to work well.
