Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

"Don't worry, it won't be like last time. Just a small lesson in maintaining a flame." Livia said comfortingly, sensing Fia's distress. She gave her another pat on the head, and with a firm though gentle hand picked Fia up and sat her on the ground. Before she could get up herself though, one of Katherines dolls hopped up onto the desk from somewhere and gave her quite the accusing glare. Livia blinked. The doll pouted. And then ran at her, and promptly started to rather comically beat against her chest in quite an ineffective manner. She could hazard a guess to what this was about.

"Oho~" With a light chuckle, Livia picked up the doll by the back of its neck, grinning. "Having fun with a certain water spirit? Tell her I said hi, will you? Don't worry, she's not going to kill her. Though, I can't say what exactly will happen, heh~" With a smirk Livia stood, and set the doll down on the table. "Have fun, Katherine dear!~"

"Come along then, Fia." She said leaving her personal study. It was a short walk to the backyard garden, with Livia getting a drink from one of the night servants and a asking them to prepare a small meal for both her and Fia. Taking her to a small circular clearing in the middle of a stone walkway.

"Remember what you did last time, but more control this time dear. The flame will not harm you. Focus on a small, light flame. Just big enough to show your way if you are lost."

The assailant smirked when Selvina apparently thought this was a game she was playing. Such an easy mark...if they gave up so easily then she had no use for them. In a tongue foreign to them, she would simply say one word.

"Unfortunate~"

Thankfully for Sel though, her teammates realized that turning your back on a foe is pure folly no matter the reason. As soon as the assailant righted herself after the sharp kick to the back of the young noble, Luna attacked. A spinning disk of light moving much to fast for the assailant to dodge completely came hurtling towards her. Failing to dodge completely, the bright disk of light slammed into the girls head, sending her stumbling backwards. In an impressive display of both physical ability and acrobatics, however she twisted, a sharp, fast knife whistled through the air - aimed right for Selvina's back.

The assailant landed on the ground, on her back but with her athletic ability she likely wouldn't stay down for long unless someone did something.

Lyssa simply remained up in the room, watching from the window. She should help, shouldn't she? But she didn't want to fight. Someone would get hurt. People getting hurt wasn't any good. More importantly, she might hurt someone. More than a little. She might accidentally get carried away again.

The demon ducked, just poking her head over the top of the window to watch with apprehension, too petrified with indecision and fear to try and help.

"Worried about me?" The thought earned a light chuckle from the headmistress, picking up the papers and folding them into a nice little stack before placing them near the edge of the desk. "Nothing you can help me with, dear." Livia replied, tousling Fia's hair with a gentle touch. "But thank you. Just some things I need to finish by the end of the year is all. Only a few months away, after all." The headmistress chuckled. At least, that was as much time as she estimated giving herself.

"But, perhaps I could use a break...if you're not tired perhaps you should give Pyromancy another shot, hm?"

Smirking once again as a spell was fired off, the assailant moved much faster than what would seem to be humanly possible. As soon as the gust was fired, she jumped, avoiding the gust completely and placing her hand on top of Selvina's head. The mage would feel the entire weight of the other person as they balanced on top of them with a single hand however briefly. The assailant landed on the ground behind Selvina, spinning and slamming her right foot right into the humans back with surprising force. She didn't seem concerned at all by Eith.

Lyssa simply watched from the window, not at all sure about what she should do. It was clear this person was an extremely skilled martial artist. Likely better than she was, it would likely take more than a few simple spells to stop her since she seemed to also be proficient in some form of magic.

~Katherine~
Altar of Water, Elder Undine

As Katherine's eyes adjusted to the dimly lit room, a few things would become apparent. It was a very lived in cavern from the rather ornate furniture that lined a section of the far wall. An expensive, ornate rug was placed over the rocky floor which had been smoothed to a polished finish. The sound of rushing water was ever present in the area as magic crystals illuminated the are with an otherworldly, dim glow.

In the center of the cave, was a large, clear pool that one couldn't see the bottom of. At first, it seemed like she was wholly alone in the cave, save for the gentle sound of running water and the gentle dripping of it from the ceiling into the pool. However, there was also no visible way out of the cavern, though there was a section that led around the pool to a room in the back, though whatever was back there couldn't be seen.

A few seconds later though, the pool of water seemingly came alive.

A vortex of water swirled upwards towards the cavern ceiling. Two, bright glowing eyes were visible from the center of the vortex as they eyed Katherine with seeming hostility. After a few seconds, the water exploded outwards, before seeming to solidify into the shape of what could only be considered as a throne entirely made out of water that was sitting on a pillar of water emerging from the ground. Upon it, sat a very irate looking woman with almost marble white skin, long, flowing blue hair like that of a river. She was wearing very little clothing to hide her rather ample assets, though she didn't seem to concerned with it. She rested her elbow on the arm of the watery throne, glaring down at Katherine with cold, passionless blue eyes.

A few seconds of silence passed.

"Something about 'Filthy lake water, hmm?" She spoke, her voice melodic as a flowing river. "Normally I would simply drown you and let the mermaids have you for insulting my lake but Livia insisted I have you entertain myself personally. So. What shall I do with you? Tie you up and use you for my personal amusement for a bit? Turn you into a slave for the rest of your miserable life?" She interrupted herself. "Go on, speak. Amuse me and I might just decide to eventually let you leave."

Despite the cold hostility of her voice, she seemed a bit...bored?
Rachel Holt

Rachel turned her head towards Anthony, a her usual look of contentment staring back at him as he offered her a pair of pants. Many questions were asked. Why did he have a spare pair of pants? Would they even fit? Did she even want to put on pants? The answer may not have been that surprising. That was a no, but there was a thing known as public decency, wasn't there? Grrrah. Why did she have to put on pants when she should just be chilling at home in her underwear.

"Hmm...I should probably wear them." She said in a somewhat disappointed voice. "But pants...are so annoying." Regardless, she took the pants and with surprising swiftness managed to get herself into them. A bit loose, but eh. She wasn't one to sweat the small details like that. Without even a word of thanks, she followed the others into the large building.

The inside of the building looked like something one might find in a hotel or other place that rented rooms for various purposes, and where she met another one of those creatures. Some sort of female plant thing named Lilymon.

Well she guessed even plant creatures had gender preferences.

Rachel didn't get long to think about the various meanings of the word before five little blob looking things walked...hopping? how were they even moving? She didn't think little legless round blobs could move like that...huh. She didn't have much to say though, as Botamon, the little black one with little round ears on top of it came bouncing over to her, though it ended up messing up a bounce and then faceplanting into the ground in front of Rachel.

The human took a seat on the ground, crossing her legs as she gazed at the black round blob who managed to right itself after a bit of a struggle. While Yumeko and Vivian greeted their digimon, the two of them simply gazed at each other in silence.

Then Botamon Yawned.

Rachel yawned.

Botamon seemed to tilt on its side, as if trying to cock its head in a quizzical manner, a small purr like sound coming from it. Rachel tilted her head silently in the opposite direction. Whatever silent ritual this was seemed to have some form of communication before Botamon spoke.

"Guess for a human ya ain't so bad."

"For a burnt marshmallow you're not so bad either." Rachel replied with her usual small smile, earning a small glare from Botamon.

"Hey! Who ya callin' burnt marshmallow?!" Botamon didn't get much time to further question why they were being called a burnt marshmallow, as Rachel picked it up and...bit its ear.

"O-oi! Do I look like food to you?!" Botamon continued to struggle mostly in vain as Rachel continued to chew silently on its ear. The poor thing looked absolutely terrified before Lilymon started speaking again, causing Rachel to look up and Botamon finally able to free itself from the clutches of its captor.

Digivolve, eh?

"Would you turn into an unburnt marshmallow? Or just a giant burnt marshmallow?" Rachel seemed very intent to think about Botamon as a marshmallow for some reason. She was feeling a bit hungry, come to think of it.

"For the love of tarnation...I'm not a marshmallow!" Rachel didn't seem entirely convinced, however, and instead tilted her head quizzically again as if asking 'really?' She wasn't really paying much attention to what the others were saying at this point.

"Ya bet yer britches I'm not! Just use that there digivice and I'll show ya I'm not a Marshmallow!" Well, why not? Rachel did just that, and pointed her digivice at the marshmallow. If she was concentrating, it didn't seem like her expression changed much, but there was a definite reaction similar to how Yumeko's was.

"Botamon, Digivolve to...Impmon!"

The process happened quickly, much faster for Rachel to really comment much on. All she did know though, it was that something had replaced the marshmallow with a giant grape flavored...whatever it was.

"See ya dunderhead? Not a marshmallow. 100% pure evil Imp, at yer service!"

"...Eggplant?" At this Impmon recoiled back in slight shock, and possible slight fear.

"I am not food! Don't even you-you devil!"

Too late, Rachel had already grabbed the digimon and had was holding them in her arms, chewing on its ear. Impmon more or less seemed resigned to its fate, though seemed rather unimpressed with this development.
@PlatinumSkink

Aside from doing a few barrel rolls and other absolutely silly things, Claire's stickin' on the path to red coast.

Granted, she could have very well accidentally barrel rolled into an angry salamence or something, but eh xD

The day had gone well enough, though her thoughts constantly were turning to her little...problem. She wanted nothing to do with divinity at all. Various methods of cleansing herself of that taint came to mind. Splitting her soul. Modifying it once again. A few other methods that she wasn't to keen on. Splitting it, as in taking it and getting rid of it altogether was the most easily done, though the ramifications of it would be quite...drastic. Modifying it was a safer, if somewhat slower method. Unfortunately time was no longer on her side.

She supposed she could split it, and keep the part in a separate Vessel. Hm. Perhaps she should ask Myrilla and that creepy scientist of hers to make another body for her? She was quite curious as to how it would function. It wouldn't have a complete soul, and neither would she. Hm. Come to think of it, that might actually be rather...interesting to play around with. They would both technically still be her, but neither would be...hm. Hm, perhaps this would be an interesting development. It was always a good idea to have an unbiased view of things. Perhaps her long life had made her biased towards certain things...

A thought for later. It'd certainly be a nice surprise for Katherine, heh~

Though, she was probably currently enjoying herself with her other little surprise...

It was then, a timid voice called her out of her thoughts. Had...had someone just called her mom?

Livia looked up from her desk with a quiet laugh.

"Fia, darling, I am quite alright." She said with a smile. "Just...trying to finish things. I am afraid time is no longer on my side, hm. More importantly, what are you doing up this time of night, hm? Shouldn't you be in bed?" She asked in a playful tone.

~Sorcha~

It had been a rather pleasant trip so far. Calm weather, a fairly playful companion. The only thing missing was the slaying of mighty beasts and adventure into unknown lands! Of course...when you had already been pretty much everyone in the known world the latter bit was quite difficult to do. Such was the life of an immortal, though. Always doomed to be boring sometimes. Extremely boring. At least a certain kitten and knight was making it fun.

The dragon yawned in her sleep as Maoin managed to free herself, though she was hardly asleep as the kitten might have assumed. She had half a mind to say something to her, but sometimes it was best to let one be by themselves. With a quiet roar-like yawn, the dragon rolled over onto her back with a soft smile, quickly falling back asleep.

"Argh, you have vanquished me might warrior..." she spoke in her sleep. "...now off to bed...hrm...growing mighty warriors need sleep..." At least one of them seemed to be having pleasant dreams at least.

~Selvina & Co~

"Y-yeah." Lyssa replied to Luna, looking more than a little concerned with the turn of events. "That was Eith..." She frowned, looking towards the floor and then towards the window, shaking her head. "This is...erm, bad?" She didn't want to see Eith or Swen possibly get hurt, but she also didn't want to fight anything.

She didn't know what to do.

Back on the ground, whoever the girl was didn't seem like they were going to be such an easy mark to capture.

Human magic? Hoho, so they were magic users. Useful, then. Another grin from under the mask as the spell fired...and missed completely. In the blink of an eye, the assailant was once again only inches in front of Selvina, knife aiming right for the mages' neck again.
@Heckno12

Oho, I am quite aware~

Now, the question is would Mien be aware in this possible first encounter? Don't think so, but I don't think she's sticking around long enough to try and find out xD
@Heckno12

Hmm, alright~

About what I expected, so that works.

Thankfully Mien's actual fleshy bits are covered in a thin layer of goo so any scars or blemishes are always unseen~
@Heckno12

So which 'more dangerous species' is it? The one that can literally rot someone with poison or the giant four armed thing Mien's totally going to make a joke about the various size of? Everything is dangerous to them at the moment xD

Also, question for future reference. Just how strong is the Varinyat's poison? Mien's nanites should be able to clear out most poisons of her bloodstream fairly quickly unless its an extremely high dosage or extremely potent. How effective would they be at that?
@Heckno12

I approve. I haven't decided on the details of Mien's armor and Sword yet, but I imagine it'd have some anti-magic functions.

Anyways, have a post. She's playing it a bit safe for now. Wanted to go ahead and get a post up since I dunno if I will be able to tomorrow or not.
