Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

~Forest outside the Cavern~

"Oh, thank you Torrent." Ash replied to the other reptiles offer. "Perhaps I might be able to use it as a rope or...snakeskin armor or clothes." She really couldn't think of an immediate use for it, but she could test such things later.

Meditate was definitely going to be a useful skill, that much was quickly becoming apparent. Just a bit of time and exercise and it could be one of the best long term investments she could make. Rabid Fit was...slightly less useful. Similar to Overwork, like she had hoped. Increase to strength and damage dealt, except this one didn't drain your HP. Instead it seemed you took more damage from attacks. Seems as though she couldn't activate it manually yet, though.

Hm.

"Anyways," Turning back to Mourn. "Going after those - "

WARNING! YOUR ALERT SKILL IS REACTING STRONGLY! RUN!
system:Ash

"-huh?"

She felt it before she saw it. A cold, baleful wind swept through the forest, Ash sat straight up. The system told her to run, but running without knowing what she was running from would be folly. Black clouds started gathering overhead, swirling around the camp in quite the unnatural weather pattern. A flash of red light exploded from the center, and like bolt of fury something fell from the clouds, slamming into the camp.

A figure stood, in black armor among the debris of the rock and earth that they had just made their home. She didn't move a muscle, merely stood there, muscles taut as the creatures overwhelming Aura ate away at her stamina. As the fight or flight response kicked in, Ash made a move to resist it. She wouldn't be intimidated so easily! Not by something like this! Besides, running? Ha! Ha, no, there would be no running from this if it decided to attack them.

But it didn't seem to be intent on doing that.

Ash's mind caught up with her faster than her body did. At his parting words, Ash relaxed as he dropped something to the ground, body threatening to simply go limp, but she forced herself to stay on her feet. Almost instinctively, Ash used her [Fusion Analysis] skill on the magic circle, and on Zawisza himself as he left. She would at least get something from this.

Now that the fear and fight or flight response was quickly wearing off however, only a bubbling, burning anger was starting to creep into her veins.

Who indeed, Torrent.

Ash held a claw to her muzzle. Calm. Calm. She was most certainly not calm. Why, why did these things always happen?

"Whichever imbecile just did that after being advised not too," Ash's voice was cold, void of emotion as she suppressed the desire to simply find something and squeeze it to death like a stress ball. "I suggest you come clean and I won't skin you alive and drown you in a vat of acid."

It was difficult to tell if that was a sarcasm or not.

These guys talked too much.

Vi simply watched the brief discussion with disinterest, not removing herself from Trevors head. Well, the option to wait until morning was probably the smart and safest choice, but where was the fun in that? It didn't seem like the cave was very big in the first place, and she wasn't keen on simply waiting around for something to happen. She was going to brave that dark unknown and discover all of its contents!~

But she'd leave the little Dunslug alone for now. She should probably make sure the serpent and lizard didn't get themselves in trouble.

"Hey, I'm only really going to make sure you guys don't get jumped." Vi chimed in, still latched onto Trevor's head. "...annnd well, I don't fancy sitting on my nonexistent butt for five hours waiting around for something to happen." Finally letting Trevor's head go, she moved to the front of the party, twirling around and looking at them as they left the cave. "You wanna find secrets and stuff, you gotta find it yourself."

Once outside, Vi felt...well, pretty normal. As a ghost the cold probably wouldn't bother her much, not to mention the rain probably had zero effect on her. She cast a glance up to the sky, before zipping off a ways.

"If it's food we're looking for...I feel like I should mention I don't think I need any." She zipped back, almost hitting Trevor in the face. Man, floating was weird. Putting on the brakes was difficult. "Seems I might feed off of emotions or something. That dunsparce's anger was pretty tasty, actually, hoho."

Now that she was properly outside the cave though, Vi began cautiously observing her surroundings. It wouldn't do to get ambushed by something out here.

"Hey, so, what exactly can I do anyways?" She was a ghost, so she was assuming she had some sorta ghost-like abilities.

"I see. Then we can be hopelessly lost together." She replied to Lance, still latched onto his head before addressing the Swablu. "I wouldn't say I am happy. I am curious, if anything, and intrigued by this development. Fear and confusion doesn't help anyone but me, it seems, wohoho~" That was only a small lie. She was indeed, slightly afraid. Anyone logically would be in this situation, her other emotions were just taking the forefront.

By then they had made their way back to where the lizard was, and he had begun to explain a little more about their individual species a bit more. Lance was Steel Dark, the serpent was a Poison type, and the slug thing was a Normal type. Most importantly though, her suspicions had just been confirmed. She was a 'ghost' type of some sort. Did she already know such a 'move'? She would need to figure it out, and since Trevor seemed like the most knowledgeable here...might as well tag along with him.

Plus, with things calming down a bit, it seemed whatever filling sensation had also diminished. If this was how she got her energy, then she couldn't stay here where things would be calm. Besides, she might be able to make a pretty good scare once she returned, heh! She'd experiment with that later. As well, she really didn't want to be cooped up in a tiny dirt cave at the moment.

...say if she was a ghost, could she go through walls and stuff?

"Hey, let me tag along." Vi said, finally letting go of Lance's head and floating after Trevor's and repeating the action of latching onto his head with her tiny arms. Come to think of it, having a ghost latched onto your head probably felt cold."Night is full of dangerous things. Ghosts. Monsters. Unknown creatures. A friendly little ghost would help. I might be able to see better than any of you." Not that they had much room to argue. She was going whether they wanted too or not. Their answer merely changed if she'd behave herself.
Alright, we cool. Just wanted to be sure. Thankies~
@Lugia

Alright so, not trying to sound upset or anything, but this is the second time he's ignored her.

Did Trevor leave out Vi's species and explanation out on purpose?
@Lucky

Well I'd be up for hashing out a relationship in a 1x1 with Maye and whoever wanted to as well if you'd want too. She'd probably want to at least get to know her new squad a bit to better handle some coordination.

had some time

So have a post

Vi blinked.

She had just been completely ignored, aside from a 'nice to meet you all'.

Her smile faded, blue eyes narrowing at the lizard thing. Oho. Well if that's how this lizard thing wanted to play this budding friendship they had, then by all means, she could easily oblige...but for now she'd be nice. Probably. More or less. She didn't mind a little sass, but what she didn't like was being utterly and completely left waiting. Turning her attention from it back to the others, she quickly made some mental notes. Some sort of...red thing with lots of blades on it. A snake, a...worm thing? Some sorta blue puff ball, and a talking acorn.

Boy this was some drug trip.

As Trevor walked over to comfort the Dunsparce, Vi watched with mild interest. Curious. She felt...warm? Fulfilled? A hint of cheese on her tongue. A spicy fragrance. Anger? She didn't know what was going on, but had she developed some sort of supernatural abilities? An Empath of sorts, that could feel others emotions? A thought for later.

"Hey, you. Lance right?" Floating over to Lance, she latched her tiny hands onto the top of his head, resting her head on the top of his as she almost weightlessly hung on. "Since the funny lizard thing ignored me, mind filling me in? Seems I'm one of the only ones outta the loop here. I didn't play pokemon after I got outta high school...gen...four I think? Been awhile. It was the only one, too." Pausing a moment, she followed up with. "So what ya see out there?"
And a post from moi.

Sleeping on the ground, was a dark ball of...fluff? Hair? Ectoplasm? Probably that last one. Whatever ghosts were made of. It was laying on its side, seemingly trying to hug the ground as it snored and rolled over where it was sleeping. Slowly, however, the commotion of the other pokemon waking up bought it out of its sleep. The Ghost type yawned, its dark, ethereal strands of hair shuddering and flowing as it quietly took in its surroundings.

"...woah." Was all it said as it observed the other creatures present. What...were they? More importantly...what was she?! He quickly did a body check, or well, body check of what he could. She seemed to mostly be a floating ball ectoplasm from what she could tell. No legs, just an ability to float and manifest tiny hands if she focused a bit. Now most people might be a little put off by suddenly waking up, in the middle of nowhere, in an entirely new body.

Vi however, was not most people. This was absolutely entertaining.

"Wohoho~" A decidedly creepy cackle came from the Misdreavus as she did a little twirl. She hadn't meant to do that, but for some reason it felt right. "A shared dream experience? Perhaps a form of ESP or some such? Astral Projection? Or perhaps a ghost stole away my soul and shoved it here?" She was thinking aloud at this point, a crack of thunder and the sound of rain finally reaching the Misdreavus' ears. A lovely sound. She did so like the rain.

"I don't know about you," Vi finally bothered replying to Trevor. "But I love rainy days. One of the best times to find a ghost, wohoho~" She giggled. Well this body was just downright weird. Walking was odd, but she didn't particularly think about it. Best not to overthink things too much. It seemed as long as she just thought about moving, it'd work well enough. "Ah, I suppose I should introduce myself...you may call me Vi. Not my human name, but new me new name, so why not!"

Another cackle.

"Quite the predicament we've found ourselves in...hmhm," Truthfully, she didn't care about whatever a pokemon was. Not at the moment, at least, but perhaps such information may elucidate some mysteries. "You, screamy lizard thing. Trevor was it? Tell me: What's a pokemon? I am only vaguely aware of such things from high school, and what do you mean by Guild?"
