As much as I'd love to stay, I think I should also drop for much the same reasons as Holy Grail.

I tend to split my time for many interests every day and I can see this RP becoming a chore if things stagnate, as I'm not very experienced with slice of life-type RPs. I'm going to be taking up very time-consuming responsibilities pretty soon, so it's probably best I not get in the way by leaving altogether.
Kaison
Nine times.

Nine times out of ten, a CPU Scarf beats a CPU Shift while at equal difficulty levels. Throughout the long train ride, the two CPU-controlled characters are pitted against each other with painstaking observation, and through each match Shift's AI is tweaked. When the match ends, the changes are saved and they fight all over again.

It was certainly busywork, but there was a distinct catharsis in watching an AI gradually become smarter. After successfully winning three out of six games, the flowery mix of soft pastels on Kaison's window reflected on the screen of his laptop, his cue that they've arrived.

It's quite refreshing, being able to stretch out his legs after a long ride, and the town leading up to St. Fortuna's beckoned. No time is wasted on deliberation; Kaison heads out, straight towards town. After all, he had plenty of time to meet classmates, especially this year. Rolling a suitcase behind him with a subtle bounce in his step, he idly begins trying to draw figures in the air, whistling a tune stuck in his head to go with it.

Flower after flower, building after building adorned with every color and scent entices him. Still yet, such delights were forbidden with pretty red ropes, like a distant memory of a fruit from eden. Even still, his favorite cafe awaited, and there she was, a beauty of red brick and white flowers.

Ah, sweet memories, made and to be made new.
While I'm partial to Discord because it's easier to get in and out, any manner of instant communication would be handy.

Care to share contact information? @Invader Len
@Invader Len
Thanks for the answers. I wasn't sure who to @ because there's three GMs and doing it for all three seemed excessive.
Do I wait until Kaison gets off the waiting list to put him in the characters tab?

Will I only receive his quiz results when he gets off the waiting list?

Is the waiting list strictly for replacing inactive players, or will there be a second homeroom class given enough applicants? If there will be a second homeroom class, do they never share classes with the first homeroom class?

Kaison is 5'7"

Maybe I should change the name of the woman Kaison's dad is dating...
@Invader Lenᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

Kaison's father wasn't meant to be drunk 24/7. Not when he's not on vacation. That's kind of extreme for a drinking problem, but it's on me since I never clarified. I tried to leave a lot of his situation to be surmised so as not to detract from Kaison, but I didn't mean for him to be interpreted as weak or needy. His children, of course, were mostly raised by nannies, though not the same one. At your behest, it has been edited, embellished and clarified.

I've changed his answer for quiz question 8 to include the begrudging respect he has for his father. I didn't think it appropriate at the time, but I suppose it's good to mention at least one person he knows personally.

Are these changes appropriately sufficient?
I've been stalking this since the interest check and now I think I'm ready to submit my character. Can't wait to be told I did something wrong ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
@Ryikwell not if you try and stick to just its theme
They're a lot better with Double Summon and Ultimate Offering, but they can make do without. I mostly played Madolches when Ultimate Offering was forbidden, and I didn't even have all the proper cards at the time either. They still have a way of being able to answer many situations, as Ticket lets them bring out another Tiaramisu every turn, which in turn lets them remove, recycle and search all the time.
Madolche isn't exactly a great deck
Madolches are amazing and highly versatile. Ultimate Offering+Magileine is all you need for an otk against almost any board state. They have extremely strong searching capabilities and can swarm in the blink of an eye such as by playing Magileine>Magileine>Magileine>Cruffsant>Magileine>Cruffsant>Magileine>Cruffsant>Magileine, Tiaramisu and Magileine effects combined can let you search for Mewfeuille, Messengelato, Butlerusk or any manner of searching needed for Chateau and Ticket without giving up the Magileine>Cruffsant chain and you would still have more searches available to you after all that through Madolche Ticket and the remaining (recycled) Magileine, which can run through Anjelly>Hootcake>M-X-Saber Invoker if you ever feel your field isn't bloated enough with Tiaramisu. You might also recycle Cruffsant to bounce back Tiaramisu to re-summon her just to spam her extremely potent removal effect even more. Even without ultimate offering, there's always Double Summon, Ticket, Mewfeuille, Anjelly>Hootcake and Invoker to make something out of nothing.

Madolches have been meta in the recent past and won tournaments to boot. They're arguably the best deck I have ever had irl.

@Ryik Sorry, couldn't really get on yesterday. I'll respond to your concerns now.

I thought saying we were friends was enough to establish that I wanted to be friends, but I guess you ended up taking it the wrong way. Do you think "buddy" would get my point across better? Or maybe "chum"? How do you feel about "amigo"?

Also I can't really stop you from leaving but just for future reference can you point out where you thought I was rude to you and maybe give suggestions as to what I could have done instead? I've been trying to work on it but nobody ever sticks around to give me a straight explanation.

I mean personally speaking I thought we were having a lot of fun together and you seemed really invested but I guess you actually weren't. Sorry.
The word isn't important so much as the context in which it is used. If the context a term of endearment is used in sounds insulting, it's going to seem sarcastic. To that end, I'm sorry; clarifying these individual contexts would be onerous. It doesn't sound like much fun going back to find things to be upset about when it could just be accepted as a long, continuous misunderstanding and move on. I figure it's ideal, considering we may never interact with each other elsewhere.

Don't take me quitting personally. There's important reasons that have nothing to do with you.
