@Letter Bee@Lightninglynx89@Deathclawow@olcharlieboi Arriving in Brightwell too little too late, Aaron sighed. He probably shouldn't have taken a boat after all. Grabbing a burner phone and calling a contact, he soon turned off the phone and tossed it. A while passed without anyone appearing until a large, burly man approached him from behind. The man stuck his hand into one of many pockets and retrieved a... piece of paper. The man tapped Aaron on his shoulder and immediately pressed the paper into Aaron's hand, disguising it as a handshake. The two of them talked for a little, seemingly a jovial and amicable conversation before thanking each other and parting ways.
Aaron put his hands in his pockets during the conversation, seemingly casual, though a slight clinking of metals could be heard by anyone within a meter from him. After the conversation had ended, Aaron pulled withdrew his hands from his pockets and unfolded the piece of paper.
You were too late. There was a suspicious group who'd rented out the place a while back. I tried reserving a room, but they were all reserved already. Money can go a long way though and eventually he gave me a name. A certain 'Gavin Prince', which I believe is the person you were looking for. According to the motel owner they went to Epirus, Greece...Ironic isn't it? Thanks again for setting me up here, I feel a lot better now I left all that behind me.
P.S. I expect a good sum of money back for bribing the motel owner, she wasn't cheap.
Aaron grabbed a lighter and burned the note. Tossing the burner cell in a nearby trash bin, he sighed. Ironic indeed, the group he went to meet wasn't here, instead they were now in the country he had so recently left behind. Entering the motel Aaron simply flashed a CIA ID at the owner and said "Something new has come up, I'm here to inspect the room again."
Inside the room there was no one and little was of interest to Aaron. Not that he was really here to investigate, of course. In the solitude of the deserted room he opened a window and meditated on the bed. Eventually having gathered enough energy he teleported. Landing flat on his behind next to his own bed, he looked around a little and got up. This was indeed his own room... and he was looking at his bed from the exact position he'd focused on. Noting that he'd have to practice doing that properly, he swiftly got up and went outside.
Out in the streets of Epirus, he wandered around a little before seeing a figure launched into the sky from across the rooftops. Aaron navigated through several alleyways and arrived at the scene, right in time to see the group leave through a portal. When he asked a passerby what was up with that, the passerby simply told him someone had told them these people were making a movie. Aaron returned his gaze to where the group had been, only to find the crowd had mysteriously died out, even the person who had just been next to him was now gone.
"This is not my day" Aaron mumbled to himself as he approached the only group remaining. When he saw the cuffs on the boy he realized he had walked into something unpleasant. Not sure which side he'd want to be on in this instance, he just pretended to be lost. "Umm, excuse me, I am so SO sorry to interrupt you gentlemen, but I'm afraid I'm rather lost, you see? Would any one of you mind telling how to get to the folk art museum...Something Mansion*?"
Vreskrr stood immobile as chaos encroached on the town's center. The only thing moveing was her tail dragging across the ground, slowly, almost carefully. Attentively listening to the conversation, ready to jump into action at any given moment. When Leila had done her say, Alionna came storming in. Vreskrr frowned at the woman as she hurled her insults at the tyrant, did she not realize it was too soon to fight him? Did she not feel the power emanating from his form?
Extending the back of her spear in front of Alionna to stop her from taking another step, Vreskrr waited for her to finish her tantrum. Quickly responding when Alionna finished, Vreskrr spoke up. "You can say what you want, but he did what everyone asked of him. After all, he did slay remus." She chuckled at her own ironic remark before turning to Sven. "I'd leave plundering and pillaging to the demons though. Wouldn't do to upset social balances now, would it? You've already left one girl clueless of how to act." Vreskrr's usual sadistic grin returned to decorate her expression, pointing at Alionna as she said this. Vreskrr was tense, not afraid, but regardless concerned about taking hits from the tyrant. As much as she disliked Remus, she was well aware of his power. Remus, along with several other strong demons had been defeated by this man, he would by no means be good for her lifespan.
Her tail now stopped moving, taking steady breaths, Vreskrr retracted her spear from in front of Alionna and stood almost completely still. She was calm, calmer than she'd ever been, the chaos that came with being a demon momentarily drowned out. With the carefully drawn rune behind her, Vreskrr even felt confident. If someone were to pull pull a stunt, she would be ready. She wouldn't fight ad she did not have death wish, but she at least had the rune to assist her escape if things went awry. @Cuccoruler@Hammerman@Lightning
Important items: Beretta M9, tracksuit, glasses, music player with headphones and anything in the laptop case.
Short Bio: Born into a criminal organization, Aaron would be trained in certain shadier practices from a young age. Unlike his father, Aaron wasn't quite cut out for the thug life, preferring diplomatic solutions over violent ones. He excelled in negotiation, though admittedly he'd still occasionally use some less than honest methods like blackmail or intimidation.
Realizing the power of connections, Aaron quickly connected--to the web. He learned how to hack and was soon employed in the same criminal organization as his father. He'd hack into some of the most classified databases and set up quite a few false identities for his father's "colleagues". He didn't much enjoy this job, but it out good money in his pocket and allowed him to quickly get better equipment.
One night, while he was just relaxing behind his PC, leaning back in his chair, he fell over. Hitting his head relatively hard, he passed out. It was then he found himself in a strange realm, confronted by a strange creature. Originally dismissing the meeting as a fever dream, he soon changed his mind when he tripped from atop the stairs and landed...on his bed. Toying around a little, he soon found out that the meeting had been very real and he had actually gotten the powers the Malakim had offered.
Deciding to look up online if ANY source could tell him about this he received an email from Gavin Prince. Convinced that this man would be one of the few reliable sources he might ever find he packed some clothes and food, put his electronic equipment in his laptop case, left a note to his dad and headed off. Till today he still earns money to support himself doing his less than legal job.
Skills/Flaws: +Hackerman - Aaron knows computers, networks, all of it. Give him his laptop and some internet, maybe some cables and he'll crack anything digital within too long. +Six Shooter - Being the son of a mobster, Aaron was "trained" in using several weapons. He was never very interested, but he can wield them regardless. He specializes in using handguns, but can also wield bigger rifles and has some proficiency with knives and the like.
-Overconfident - Aaron has a bad habit of holding back, and if possible, avoiding combat altogether. He is confident in his abilities, so much that he doesn't even feel the need to prove them. -Cold - Having seen plenty of corpses, murders and cover-ups in the 'bad part of town', he's unfazed by the dead, which may cause him to come across as cold and unempathetic.
Spell List: Wormhole (Timespace) Open gates in two places within 100 meters of each other. Anything sent through one will appear out the other. Momentum is maintained. [Hidden] [Hidden] [Hidden] [Hidden] [Hidden] [Hidden] [Hidden] GM Approved (via PM)
"Why do we keep fighting? Wouldn't we all be better off if we could just settle things without such meaningless conflict?"
