History

[center]In the 1940s, Back when the United States and the Soviet Union had fear and paranoia in everyone's minds, there was one person who was too busy, filling their minds with curiosity and taste of more knowledge, and that person was Dexter Gilbert. Dexter was a smart kid at a young age, a little too smart people say. At college while everyone was out there socializing, Dex has their face buried in many books that they can read, trying to eat every knowledge that the world has. But just because Dex was a shut-in, doesn't mean that they didn't have any friends, his name was Professor Miller, a family friend and a mentor to young Dex. With him on Dex's side, their search for never ending knowledge would never end....But then, Dex heard the news that shattered their mind....They were dying from a deadly disease.

Dex didn't want their quest to end here! They want to live! They want to get to know everything before they die!.....Professor Miller suggests something that could save Dex's life, and all they have to do is go to a party, Dex agrees to go.....And after that night, Dex is never the same again.....They turn into a vampire.

This was a dream come true towards Dex! They can finally stay alive! They'll never die! Since that night, Dex has been learning everything, never slowing down. Dex wants to learn world knowledge and secrets!....Even though that path they are taking is going to make them mad.

Rose sees her team at the base, with their mech staying around in place, almost like staying guard, ready to attacking any enemy who wants to fight....But when she starts to get some connection from her radio, all of them are talking about food. It's seems that they are just relaxing, just telling each other what their favorite food, which sounds really good, and Rose would kill for a phở and tomato right about now.

But thoughts of delicious food was cut short when everyone point their weapons point their at someone. Crap! Is there a enemy here?! Was she and Gan followed?! But there no enemy dot on her map, unless.....Oh shit, they are pointing at her! Rose want to say something, but she is so scared at weapons being pointed at her, that she frozen in fear! Welp, this is it, this is how Rose life ended! Being mistaken as a enemy!

....Only things finally stop when the group finally realize who it actually is.....Well, that was the most intense moment in Rose life....So far. After things calm down, Rose can finally found her voice, and begin to talk.

Elizabeth May Jackson was born and raised in a town in East Flank with a professor father and an artist mother, you know, normal things, normal life....Well, except for Beth.

Beth show signs of her powers at a very young age, they were first discovered when young Beth got so excited for her six birthday, her hands start shooting out light-like fireworks from her hands and almost burn the house down (At least she got a Barbie doll...It was Malibu Barbie, she wanted a ballerina Barbie) Despite not being heroes themselves, Beth parents try to teach Beth to control her powers as the best as they can.

When middle school rolls around, Beth grades show that she is a pretty smart kid, especially in her science class but just like any nerdy kid, she was often alone and didn't have many friends and the only way to get some, is to change her looks and personality entirely. So Beth ditch her nerdy clothes, nerdy glasses and her nerdy mind and become a popular girl throughout middle school and high school!.....It wasn't fun as she thought up to be.

After Beth graduated, she got accepted to Kingsdale University and although she doesn't keep touch with her popular friends, she still feel pressured from society, so she keep still being a popular valley but she still join a chemistry class (girl loves science, what can she say?) In order to pay rent for her apartment, Beth decided to get a job and that job was....Starbunks!.....But after working there for five weeks with little pay, Beth realize that she has powers, she doesn't need to work at this dead end job! So she quit right on the spot and join HERO and it was the best decision of her life!

Pyrotechnic Projection

Beth has the ability to psychically generate and manipulate pure energy light, at will. She uses this in a form of colorful blasts that are akin to or resemble fireworks but instead are made up of intense light that is more of a searing effect to objects or people than an outright burn from fire when it “explodes”. Furthermore, she can psychically direct, bend, and distort some natural light which can be used for things such as invisibility or manipulating the properties of light (ie brightness and color). However, this takes up a lot of energy so after 5-10 blasts, it starts to wear her down and makes her feel weaker. There is a strain on her body if she bends natural light for too long so it is easier to do as needed or just from the angle someone is looking but this risks someone else showing up and seeing through the slight illusion, this also does not work at night as there is no natural lighting. She is especially weak against those with shadow powers to drown out the pure energy light, anyone immune to photokinesis, or has a reflect type ability.

Rose was about to say something to Gin but she doesn’t have words to say, all she can say was “….Over and out”. Rose sigh, putting her hands on her face as she reflect what he say ""Oh. and if it turns out you alerted the enemy by walking past the base with your broadcaster turned on, I'll kill you myself. Over and out."....He would kill her if she was spotted, her suspicions of him leaving her behind was right. UGH! She is such a idiot! Rose could have lied back there! "Have you plot a mech?" "Yes I have" "Do you have military record?" "Yes I do" See?! It wasn't that hard! Rose could have lie! Damn it! Her mother raised her too good!

....You know? Why bother? Why bother trying to impress him? Why bother trying to be friends with a guy who doesn't like someone like Rose? All she needs know is to focus on the mission, get back home safely, and probably impress her team, who knows?! Rose just so damn frustrated with him!.....One, Two, Three, Four..Five..Six...Seven....Eight....Ok, Rose is calm now. Turning off her broadcaster, (even turning off the lights inside of her cockpit, just to be sure) Rose move her mech slowly, and carefully around the enemy base, underneath the heavy mist.

The travel to her location takes a lot longer then Rose thought, but it was only get by without any enemy seeing her. It's her first day after all, she rather play it safe without getting killed.

When Rose thought everything is going smooth, she see a mech in the distance. One of her team in fact? No, according to her map, she not even at the RV Alpha yet, not even close. When Rose takes a closer look, her jaw hand wide open when she discover what the mech is....It was Quickdraw QKD-8X, an ancient first-gen mech.

"Oh...My...God..." Rose whispered under her breath, she can't believe it, an first-gen mech, in person! She read one of things in her book back when she was a kid! It's right there! In person! As much as Rose want to geek out right now, she really, I mean, really don't want to get caught by those things. They have very large guns that could destroy Rose and her mech, that and revolving autocannon and superlaser that mess her up at a short range!

But when Rose look that that the mech, their appearance looks so different. It's look so rust, blocky, and crude, it's was like if that mech was a old person in human form, so maybe it won't discover her location with the old tech it has. So if that the case, Rose could easily walk right past without any trouble. This theory was proven to be correct when Rose slowly walk past it....Oh my god she walk past a Quickdraw QKD-8X!

Rose want to talk to Gin about her exciting discover, want to geek out what she saw.....But she stop herself, thinking that knowledge would bored Gin, didn't care about what Rose say, telling her that telling him about this discover is useless and a waste of time. Rose sigh in a sad tone and carry on to her destination.

It's was a long and difficult travel, but Rose did it, she made it to the RV Alpha! She wonder if her teammates made it as well....Then again, they are more experience then, so of course they made it.
