So I have been on the Guild for a long, long, long, long, long, long, LONG time. I first joined the OldGuild around, my best guess would be 2012? I've been active in the Star Wars scene on the Guild since then, there have been very few games based around that genre that I haven't at least nosed my way in on. My very first game was a Star Wars game and that's what actually really got me into the Star Wars Franchise.

It's weird to think but I am such a major Star Wars nerd these days, yet before I was on the Guild I wasn't. I got into a Star Wars RP, got onto the Wikia, and then away I went into a spiral of nerd-om that I currently live within. I've grown since then, I game quite a bit, I write when I can. I have a wikia full of a lore to my own original creative universe and play around with some 'cool' comic book nerds.

Mars, the red world. Settled in the twenty first century as the population of Earth increased as did the population of Mars. Eventually the noted Lorne Corporation perfected terraforming technology in the early twenty second century, humanity on Mars no longer had to live in a dome. They were truly free. Since then the Martian Cities have grown exponentially as Earth has become increasingly overpopulated, with Earths ruling body - The United Nations offering incentives for the working class to move to the Lunar and Martian Colonies where jobs are plentiful. However unrest began to grow due to the distance between Earth and Mars, why should the United Nations get to make decisions that affected the masses on Mars?

Then on the eve of the twenty third century the entire population of Mars felt an unexplainable seismic event rock the entire planet. The event was still being investigated one month later when, without reason, people all over the planet began exhibiting strange, unique and superhuman abilities. The Planetary Defense Force immediately began cracking down on these individuals, and this is where we begin...

Essentially this is set in the early 2200s, on Mars. I'll throw up additional information on topography of cities/technology etc when we move to an OOC. Though I'm going to give an element of freedom in this, as I only have a couple of rules in regards to technology in this era. Also while there will be a plot going on, there'll also be an element of free-roam to let people explore the setting and their characters. I'm not going to force people together all the time.

If you think this is short, that is because it's an interest check, I feel IntChks need to be short and too the point.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

I will get a Hulk post up today, no offense @Blue Demon it is just his turn. Then depending on what everyone else does I'll get Colossus up. For what will likely be the only time Ivy and Colossus cross paths!

In honor of Condiment King's first canonical NF appearance, here's a short list of villains he has beaten to the page:

Green Goblin
Darkseid
Ultron
Two-Face
Loki
The Joker (post-transformation)

Don't forget Magneto, who is mentioned in the OP.

@TimeMasterX The least convincing part of that is how much Nick Fury is smiling. I prefer my Fury with a permanent scowl.

So do we get badass cigar smoking Fury? Or scowling Fury who shoots a RPG at a jet carrying a nuke taking off from his own helicarrier and then a pistol at another jet?

Cause I gotta say. One of those is probably better than the other.
@Dedonus Amazing Spider-man had it's perks, and Spider-man doesn't stand the test of time and wasn't the best movie. Apparently it's said that Tim(?) Holland is the same to Parker as Downey Jr. and Chris Evans are to their roles so that's something. I just hope for once we get the nerdy/outcast Parker and the witty quickmouthed Spidey. With Toby Maguires portrayal I felt we got a good Parker, but not the best Spidey. With Andrew Garfields I felt we got a really good Spidey but not the best parker.

I think they're doing the right thing with skipping the origin story and having him younger. A lot of people are saying "We've seen him go through high school! I want him to be an Avenger yadayadayada."

Though I think you can't change the point he got his powers, he got them in High School so if you wanted an older Spidey it wouldn't quite fit in. I like the idea of him being younger and it lets them put a new twist on it. It also gives them a nice focus for the enxt couple of phases in terms of movies, as he won't be getting paid anywhere near as much as the big shots so he'll be sticking around.
@Dedonus That's the thing I'm amazed marvel have managed to pull.

Phase 1: Leading upto the Avengers.
Phase 2: Post-Avengers, Leading upto Infinity War.
Phase 3: Look! Avengers are needed again, and more Infinity War related stuff.
@The Kid Lantern I think it won't focus on Spidey we'll just notice the different suits in clear progression. I would heavily doubt we'd see a Iron Spidey suit unless it was at the end as a teaser. It'd just be silly I think BUT, we could always see a black Spider-man suit like at the end of Civil War. In terms of Bucky/FalCap/SteveCap in the end it's upto the studio. Sure Chris Evans wants to continue on the role, but Robert Downey Jr likes his role as Iron Man too, doesn't mean they're going to keep him on forever unless they know for a fact their movies are going to continue raking in as much money because actors get paid and extortionate amount (Always annoys me when actors preach for charity, or say they love a role. a) You could donate more to charity than I ever could dipshit and b) if you love it so much why are you wanting paid for it?). So in the end it depends whether or not Disney/Marvel want to keep going with the more expensive options or usher in a new age of heroes.

To be fair they could probably do films on smaller heroes that later ties into the Avengers with all the big names, but it really depends on how they want to do it. In terms of TV-Verse I do like their netflix shows (As it's a way for them to give heroes that should be darker, a darker tone without jumping on the R-Rated bandwagon). DC... no. I like @Dedonus am not really looking forward to BvS. Okay I could live with it being Batmans first appearance in the DC-Cinematic Universe as everyone knows his origin story by now, and we've got an older Batman.

Though Flash? Wonder Woman? Even read somewhere they may attempt to shoehorn Aquaman in. I will be the first to admit that DC have some great characters, but they're trying to catch up with Marvel too fast and it's going to shoot themselves in the foot from a story telling standpoint. Okay maybe these heroes don't need an Origin story movie anymore, but they do need introduced. They're trying to throw everything together just to aim for the Justice League and I think it's going to end up a mess. They would have been better to do a BvS (But with a smaller villain than Doomsday), Flash, Wonder Woman, Aquaman (not in that order), Dawn of Justice (Which is essentially the first Justice League Film) then went from there.

I think another thing that is grinding my gears with DC is they're moving away from the comic theme. Marvel can have darker stories while keeping a very comic-book feel. Winter Soldier proved that, Incredible Hulk proved that (it wasn't darker but it was a pretty heavy film). DC is going dark but I feel its taking some of the fun out of it from it being from a comic. I don't care that Superman killed, or that half the city was destroyed or whatever. It's the way they did it and made it so... dark that I don't like. Come on, lighten up a bit. Take the filter off. It's a comic book movie for christ sake. That's like someone remaking Winnie the Pooh and making him an emo. That said, some comic book movies deserve to be darker/rougher. I.E. Deadpool is good being an R-Rated and Batman works as a dark movie.

That said, @Dedonus has a point. The DC TV-verse is on point.
@Fat Boy Kyle do I need to push you out of a window? :P
