So I have been on the Guild for a long, long, long, long, long, long, LONG time. I first joined the OldGuild around, my best guess would be 2012? I've been active in the Star Wars scene on the Guild since then, there have been very few games based around that genre that I haven't at least nosed my way in on. My very first game was a Star Wars game and that's what actually really got me into the Star Wars Franchise.

It's weird to think but I am such a major Star Wars nerd these days, yet before I was on the Guild I wasn't. I got into a Star Wars RP, got onto the Wikia, and then away I went into a spiral of nerd-om that I currently live within. I've grown since then, I game quite a bit, I write when I can. I have a wikia full of a lore to my own original creative universe and play around with some 'cool' comic book nerds.

@mattmanganon Ah right. Makes sense.
@mattmanganon Most Nebs were retrofit in one way or another, though while most vessels the rear end was cleared out for medical room ours has been hollowed out a bit for a Hangar. It isn't as structurally stable as a traditional model (Weaker in the rear end than your standard neb b) but it lets us field more fighters, there's also a squadron of Bombers to take into account.

Can't forget coold old @Sundered Echo and his Y-Wings.
@mattmanganon Nebulon Bs do have some Hangar space (though we've kinda crammed it full) which is where the fighters came from, some ops call for jumping from hyperspace but in this particular case we just launched. Simply as we didn't know the exact moment the fighting would start, which makes it hard to know when to drop out. Too early and you ruin the op, too late and the Keep would already be slag.

Other than that, good post.

The bridge of a Venator was near identical to that of the Imperial Class. It was really the vessel that had spearheaded the entire line of Star Destroyers, it was a shame that few still existed in active service. They acted as a bridge between the sheer firepower of an Imperial Class and the compliment of a dedicated carrier. Unlike a regular carrier vessel the Venator was still able to hold it's own, the fact the Imperials had not repurposed the design was surprising given the Tarkin Doctrines reliance on manpower. The entire point of the TIE fighter for example was that they were cheap and easy to produce, so they could replace broken units easily and field hundreds of the craft.

So why the Empire didn't use ships capable of fielding hundreds and pack a punch was beyond him. It wasn't important, if he had leaked the necessary information this vessel would be fighting against the Empire soon enough. He just had to put up a show so that when the ISB showed up with questions, he was covered. Lorne spoke up, the officers on the bridge were all ex-military. Not that he had a problem with mercenaries, most of the ships crew were from the fringes of civilized space, he just wanted people who actually knew what they were doing at the controls of his masterpiece. "Inform the pilot of the Endurance in the lower hangar to prepare for departure, I want the engines warmed up and ready to go." He turned to one of the few Stormtroopers aboard, part of his personal guard. "I want your squad to move out and clear a path to the Endurance. Leave some behind for my personal escort."

"Sir."

He ran off, his voice muffled via his helmet as he spoke through the internal comms rather than relaying his voice to the outside. Two more troops fell back and stood behind him. He didn't even acknowledge their presence, that's not what they were there for. He turned to one of the men in the pits. "I want you to lock down all bulkheads with the exception of from here to my ship, and here to the nearest escape pods. Once that's done set the engines to full power, and the self destruct to my personal comm." He had no interest in actually using the self destruct, though having it known that he had it armed wasn't a bad thing in the long run when the agents came investigating. It technically wasn't an Imperial Navy vessel, and he'd get a smack on the wrist for using back alleys to secure and fully equip a star destroyer to then have it fall into enemy hands. If he made a gesture at not letting the Rebels take it, at least he'd keep his life and position.

"Inform the Imperial Fleet of our situation, see if we can't get any reinforcements and then set out the call to abandon ship. The enemy have obviously prepared for this, mercenaries aren't going to do any good."

In the name of helping y'all know what your facing to react and whatnot I will be posting a post this evening from the perspective of our host.
Some parts are missing.

What do you mean?
Sorry about that, been super busy the last few days cleaning out the shop I work in. My days consisted of "Get up at 8am, go out the door, work all day, come home at 10pm, collapse into bed, redo from start" Anyway, I will get going on an opening post.

Bear in mind the size of the Imperial Force, and to have read the IC first.
the only reason I did not know that, is because I haven't had time to read the more recent posts. /doh!
sorry.

It's alright.

I await your "Go! Go! Go!" moment.

Would you mind if I pass on posting this round? I want to wait until the ship's are adjacent and the SF team has completed their spike of the Majestic's computers before we do anything.

The ships are adjacent, and the SF team has placed the Spike... you're good to breach.

We did it quickly as to prevent people from needing to wait too long. @Naril has an awesome post all about it.

"The names Professor Zoom. I'm with the Flash."

Barrys heart skipped a beat, and for someones who had a heart that beat far faster than the average humans, that was a big deal. He had missed training someone about the Speed Force, not to mention having Wally by his side but this guy said he was with him. That was a bit of a leap. Before he could say anything though people were accosting the man in yellow with questions.

"Are you the Flash from Keystone?"

"Are you faster?"

"Where did you come from?"

The one Barry honed in on was the last one. "Do you know who the Flash is?"

"Yes." Not good.. Even before he knew Batman he knew that one of the most important secrets he had was his name, not that Batman had ever needed to figure out who he was. At that moment Barry ran up the steps towards him, placing his arm around 'Zooms' shoulder and waving to the crowd. It wouldn't do good to get into a confrontation here, not infront of all these people.

"Can I have a word, Partner?" He made sure to put emphasis on the word, to anyone thinking that the two of them actually knew eachother it would possibly seem normal, perhaps even congratulatory. He was hoping that this Zoom character would pick up on it's true intent, it was to show this Zoom character that Barry wasn't impressed, nor happy. If he had been approached beforehand about a possible pairing then that would be a different matter. It was like if the man in yellow had just taken to the streets using his name. No, this needed to get sorted now. He needed to know more before he could be associated with the man in yellow.

"Sure thing Flash!" Did he sound, excited? He ran off down the street, turning and looking back he saw that Zoom was keeping pace. He wasn't catching up, but wasn't falling behind either. If Barry were to push it however, would Zoom be able to keep up? If this was Wally he surely would have, though the situation was far too serious. First this individual had turned up out of the blue, running around the city not really doing anything before taking down Trajectory and now he claimed to be Barrys partner? It was all too co-incidental, the CSI in him didn't believe for a moment that that was all there was too it. Was Professor Zoom the 'Doctor Elias' that Ted had told him about? If so, what was his motiviation for becoming a speedster? If he wasn't Elias then who was he?

Too many questions cluttered his brain, and he needed answers. He came to a skidding stop outside of the city limits. "So, just who are you Professor Zoom? As the man in yellow eyed him up, surprisingly he went to peel back his mask from his forehead.

"You don't know it yet, though lets just say-" He pulled the cowl all the way back off his face. "-Where I come from, we know eachother very well." No wonder Ted had found the face so familiar, it was like Barry was staring face to face with a mirror. The man wore his face. Were they twins? No wait, where I come from. He knew Time Travel was possible, he had ran back in time by accident on one occasion.

"I don't.." Barry shook his head. "I don't understand."

"You will Barry, you will. Given time."

There it was again. Time. The differences in the suit, the name. The voice even sounded coarser, older. He wasn't ready to jump in head first with the belief that this Zoom character was an older version of himself, though there was certainly some form of connection. He just couldn't see it yet. He could almost hear Bruces voice in his head, erring him on the side of caution. He shook it off. He had spent too much time around the Dark Knight, he was starting to get paranoid. This Zoom character, seemed alright. The fact that he knew Barrys secret identity alone was cause to give him a break.

"So who are you? Really."
