So I have been on the Guild for a long, long, long, long, long, long, LONG time. I first joined the OldGuild around, my best guess would be 2012? I've been active in the Star Wars scene on the Guild since then, there have been very few games based around that genre that I haven't at least nosed my way in on. My very first game was a Star Wars game and that's what actually really got me into the Star Wars Franchise.

It's weird to think but I am such a major Star Wars nerd these days, yet before I was on the Guild I wasn't. I got into a Star Wars RP, got onto the Wikia, and then away I went into a spiral of nerd-om that I currently live within.

I run a Star Wars based Meme Page on Facebook (Migs Mayfield - Core), and live my best life right now.

Alarms blared throughout the Liberty as the portals were opening above New York. Steve rushed into the command centre, shield on his back. "Status update!

Jimmy Woo rushed past handing Steve his tablet, as Jimmy continued to rush back to another station he shouted over the organized chaos of the command center. "We've got portals forming above various boroughs of New York, alien attacks in Queens and Brooklyn. We also have a Dominator ship coming through a portal down on Manhattan-"

Steve raised his hand, interrupting Jimmy to speak. "Who do we have on the ground?" Steve scrolled through the incoming data, the aliens in Brooklyn seemed to be low level, for now. As were the ones in Queens.

"She-Hulk is in Times Square dealing with a T-Rex, Superboy, and an unknown Spider-Hero are attending Brooklyn. Nobody in Queens yet."

Steve nodded along, all the data that he had on his tablet was agreeing with everything Jimmy said. "Focus on the Dominator ship that's the biggest threat, dispatch teams in Quinjets evenly to evacuate civilians-" He turned to Deputy Director Brand. "-Liaise with NYPD and the National Guard. Activate whatever emergency powers you need to. The NYPD should focus on evacuation and protecting civilians. Have the Guard backup our own teams on the ground." He turned back to Woo. "Bring the carrier to within firing range of the Dominator ship, we want to keep it from making contact with the ground. Keep it and the portal suppressed. I don't want anything else coming through."

"Sir-"

"Yes Agent?"

"What are you going to be doing?"

"I'm going to be on the ground."

Steve tapped the commlink in his left ear three times.

Steve was at wit's end with this guy. He never seemed to really know if he was coming or going. That being said, through everything there now seemed to be a way to resolve this peacefully. Momentarily, maybe, but it was still enough that would, first of all, allow them to decipher if there were any truth to Thors claims. About his identity, where he came from, the oaths apparently sworn by the people of years gone by. All of it. There was no way on Gods green Earth that even if Thor was telling the truth that the people of Earth would even put on a show, but if there was truth in his claim then at the very least they would be able to prepare for whatever came next.

Probably a call to the Whitehouse.

Steve looked to the camera. "Send him in."

The door opened and a balding man holding a tablet entered the room, nodding meekly in greeting. "This is Doctor Selvig. He's the closest we have to an expert on ancient mythologies and the science of how it all works and connects with our-"

"Our plain of existence, that's correct Director." The man turned his attention towards the so-called diety. "It's a pleasure to meet you, I've been recording all the data I possibly can since your arrival. I really look forward to picking your brain-"

Steve waved his hand. "There will be time for all this later Doctor-" he turned his attention to Thor. "Go and find your proof, if it exists we'll talk some more. Selvig will go with you, and if anything happens to him. We'll know."

Is anyone out there waiting for anything Steve related?

Been talking to the Boss and while I don't have the time for an action heavy character like Hulk (sorry to those involved in Gamma World) now I have some form of device I'm going to be picking up Steve.

[@Deadcruiser] reading your last Thor post I've devised a way to end that interaction if you choose, however afaik the GMS are talking to you so I'll wait for the greenlight

I sadly have to drop. With my laptop dead I have no way to write posts in a quick and possible way. I know some madmen here use phones or tablets but that takes a lot of time that I barely have as is.

I'm really sorry I really enjoyed Old Man Cap and where I was going with Hulk.

I have something I want to work on App wise but I'm going to sit on it as I don't have the time. How does everything think this is going? I know the pace has slowed but I think we're at quite a healthy place right now.
