Alarms blared throughout the
Liberty as the portals were opening above New York. Steve rushed into the command centre, shield on his back.
"Status update! Jimmy Woo rushed past handing Steve his tablet, as Jimmy continued to rush back to another station he shouted over the organized chaos of the command center. "We've got portals forming above various boroughs of New York, alien attacks in Queens and Brooklyn. We also have a Dominator ship coming through a portal down on Manhattan-"
Steve raised his hand, interrupting Jimmy to speak.
"Who do we have on the ground?" Steve scrolled through the incoming data, the aliens in Brooklyn seemed to be low level, for now. As were the ones in Queens.
"She-Hulk is in Times Square dealing with a T-Rex, Superboy, and an unknown Spider-Hero are attending Brooklyn. Nobody in Queens yet."
Steve nodded along, all the data that he had on his tablet was agreeing with everything Jimmy said.
"Focus on the Dominator ship that's the biggest threat, dispatch teams in Quinjets evenly to evacuate civilians-" He turned to Deputy Director Brand.
"-Liaise with NYPD and the National Guard. Activate whatever emergency powers you need to. The NYPD should focus on evacuation and protecting civilians. Have the Guard backup our own teams on the ground." He turned back to Woo.
"Bring the carrier to within firing range of the Dominator ship, we want to keep it from making contact with the ground. Keep it and the portal suppressed. I don't want anything else coming through.""Sir-"
"Yes Agent?""What are you going to be doing?"
"I'm going to be on the ground."Steve tapped the commlink in his left ear three times.
