So I have been on the Guild for a long, long, long, long, long, long, LONG time. I first joined the OldGuild around, my best guess would be 2012? I've been active in the Star Wars scene on the Guild since then, there have been very few games based around that genre that I haven't at least nosed my way in on. My very first game was a Star Wars game and that's what actually really got me into the Star Wars Franchise.

It's weird to think but I am such a major Star Wars nerd these days, yet before I was on the Guild I wasn't. I got into a Star Wars RP, got onto the Wikia, and then away I went into a spiral of nerd-om that I currently live within. I've grown since then, I game quite a bit, I write when I can. I have a wikia full of a lore to my own original creative universe and play around with some 'cool' comic book nerds.

I've been a busy bee too, but loving the posts that are coming in! Take your time and feel no rush (: I think we're all stoked to be back and happy to control the pace.

Connor trying to sneak in hmmmmmm..... Eilidh may sense him around. Although she may be distracted by the gunshots. Whew!

I'd like right now if people sensing him didn't get a full sense for him... if that makes sense.
I did it. I killed the RP. See you in two years everyone
Nice, that's what we like to hear

Conor obviously is going to intentionally miss it.

Like we're not posting from literal Hell-on-Earth aka TERF island aka tory's playground aka the shittish isles aka 'pretty fucking far from' Great Britain aka United (except for the poor, disabled, queer, or non-white) Kingdom?

Yeah but we don't have thanksgiving, we don't even pretend to be thankful

Present Day:

Conor stepped off the bus as the clouds started to gather. The doors hissed closed as he stood still, he felt a singular drop of rain land on his cheek. Some regarded the rain as washing away your sins, to clean you and make things fresh. He didn't particularly subscribe to any of that, and even if he did it would take a torrent to clear him of his sins. The weight of this past year and a half weighed on him heavily, taller and more grown in his figure. He also hunched over slightly as if something was dragging him down. A new scar blessed his face over his left eye, and his clothes made him look somewhat homeless. Pulling the hood of his cape up over his head he started to walk towards the tower that loomed over him in the distance.

It had been a home for a time, when he had little else going for him. Vincent and Julian had been like brothers, albeit one of them a very annoying brother. Many of the rest of the Renegades had become good friends. They ventured into the realm of heroics, word of mouth even began to spread about their existence. Then the unthinkable. Julian took on more than he could chew. He left the team behind and paid for it dearly, knocked into a coma. No magic nor science could revive him.

Conor did what he could with the team, as the de-facto second in command, but as turmoil began to spread back at home his focus was scattered. Guilt gnawed away at him, he pushed people away. First, those that he should have given more attention and more focus. Who needed him more, such as Dandy. Then even the likes of Eilidh. Eventually, the team began to dissolve around him, and he took his leave. Vowing to return to Ireland and never return to the mess he had made.

Now as the rain began to pour, bouncing miraculously off his cloak. The streets looked the same, but they felt different. The energy was... off. Perhaps it was just him? He could swear the shadows flickered and crawled out toward him. He shrugged it off as nothing but paranoia.

Approaching the tower he was surprised to see a couple of vehicles in the empty lot that was otherwise occupied with broken glass, rubbish and the tell-tale marks of misguided attempts at doing donuts. I suppose free real estate where nobody was going to report you to the police was in short supply.

He took a deep breath as he walked around the building, ignoring the front door. He came across a fire escape door, running his hand down its spine several hidden rules glowed momentarily before the door popped itself open. Slinking in, he pulled it closed behind him. Quickly keying in his code to the alarm system to keep it quiet.

It appeared that none of the remaining Renegades had changed the codes to the tower. That certainly worked to his advantage. Pulling a plain silver ring from his pocket he slipped it on his finger. A wave of cold washed over him, the cold penetrating down into his spine as he drew the shadows of the corridor in on himself as he climbed the stairs. If anyone happened to check the security camera footage at this time all they'd see was a flicker off shadow, nothing more.
Thanksgiving Weekend in Canada, so probably no replies from me under Monday at the earliest.

Unless I get inspired while sitting up smoking brisket lol

What do you have to give thanks for? You live in Canada?
