[Shiny Keldeo]

Welcome! If you're reading this, than you decided to drop by for a visit and check out my profile! If not, then why are you still reading this right now?

The name's Keldeo, Shiny Keldeo. I joined the Guild about a two years ago after my first forum fizzled out. I thought I knew what I was doing with Roleplay when I came on the scene, when in reality I had barely scratched the surface of what I had to learn.

My first few RPs went bust, but with each failure I gained valuable experience to learn from, and eventually I started up a fairly successful RP known as Digimon: As the Lights Fade. However, it eventually went bust as over half the RPers, including my Co-GM, poofed and dropped without much warning.

Then came two of my longest running RPs. Pokemon: Legendary Guardians and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Shadows of the Past. Both were filled with great characters and I made a ton of new RP friends in them. Sadly, too many problems arose in both, and I was forced to shut them down.

I wasn't done with Legendary Guardians, however, and rebooted it to try my hand at it once more. So far, it's still going strong, thanks to dedicated people like Ninian and Light Lord, who've helped it stay alive through it all. I'm still not done yet, there's still more creative genius in me waiting to be tapped into!

Roleplay Information

I like to stick to Casual mostly. I've never tried anything in Advanced, but I just can't do anything in Free. I like to include way more dialog and information in my posts than I can post in Free.

I usually prefer to RP with Multiple Characters. It's easier for me to say more and do more, whether that being a Digidestined with a Digimon, a Pokemon Trainer with their Pokemon, or multiples of either.

Speaking of which, there are several subjects to which I usually work with in RP. The biggest being Pokemon. I'm up for (almost) anything, Mystery Dungeon, Ranger, or just being a normal Trainer is completely fine with me. Other interests include Digimon, Star Wars, and various other subjects that would be too numerous to name here.

Actually, that's not quite true. Jimmy and Ethan are two different trainers in the Anime. If you noticed, Jimmy is from G/S/C, and Ethan is from HG/SS. Just like how Marina is basically the Female Character from Crystal, while Lyra was shown later on from HG/SS.

...It's really confusing.
@Light Lord Is Correct. Over the course of this RP I will be throwing in some of what I call Comeback Characters. These are characters that have appeared in the Pokemon Anime at one point or another, and have just been forgotten about or cast aside as the series progressed. So keep on the lookout for those.
It was just kind of the way I worded it though when I said it. When Karaha and the others came in everyone was getting ready in the Guild. When Fuse came in everyone was on their way out. That's what's eating at me.
@Light Lord Just a quick notice of something Fuse said before, most of the Guild Members had gone out on assignments before Glyph made that announcement. So there would just be a few Guildmembers around to hear that. Just a heads up.
Rico and Lulu the Riolu Twins and Co, Omen the Absol
[Lilac Meadow]

@Ninian @Light Lord @Polaris North @Iatos
Safely behind cover behind a tree trunk, Rico and Lulu watched Milton's suicidal charge into Cat's Grace, then he made the dumbest move they'd ever seen. He brought out an Escape Orb and teleported out. "Milton! That crazy little... doesn't he know that's dangerous to do when your not in a dungeon?!" Orbs, Escape Orbs specifically, were designed for use in Mystery Dungeon's by ancient Pokemon. Use of them outside of Dungeons made them... unstable so to speak. Sometime's they'd work, sometimes they flat out wouldn't, sometime's it would even backfire on the Pokemon using it.

Omen kept up his attack, somehow managing to evade almost every attack with great ease. He was a prime example of a Pokemon fully trained by Spirit. But, even with his assault, the crowd wasn't thinning. Every time he knocked one out, another would push up and take its place, letting the previous one recover. What was keeping him on his toes the most was the fact that the Ariados leader still hadn't emerged from the ground.

Speaking of which, the ground around Celty began to shake. At first it seemed he would appear from behind. Then to her right. Then her left? He was just playing with her, like a Pursian playing with a Dedenne. Then it became perfectly calm. For a whole three seconds. Then he exploded out of the ground directly under her, catching her in a flurry of dirt, rocks, and miscellaneous debris.

Spirit the Lucario
[Valiant Village - Spirit's Guild]

@Banana @Iatos
Once again his thoughts were inturupted by the Vanillite. He was persistant, it seemed, but he didn't have time to deal with the matter at the moment. "Look, I don't want to come off as rude, but I'm quite busy tonight. We'll take care of things in the morning, we still have a spare room here at the Guild, you're free to take it. Now please..." He started to retreat into his thoughts again, then Tzerah showed up.

"Actually... I wanted to speak to you as well." He said, looking the Luxray in the eyes. "I'm sorry about this afternoon, I should have sensed what was going on inside of you. Instead, I sent you into a fitful rage, blinded by my own anger. I'm so sorry..." He stopped for a moment, then sat down crosslegged on a nearby stump chair. "I spoke with Officer Magnezone again. He wanted me to tell you this, since he had to take Flash back down south to face the penalty for his crimes. He's officially placing you on a month long leave of absence from the force. He wants you to take the time and relax, spend time with you kid, unwind, and think about things a bit."

Attack Team
[Sky Tower Summit]

@Polaris North @floodtalon
Bisharp nodded at the unanimous agreement, brought out the Escape Orb, and activated it. In a bright light, they were gone. Seeing this, Rayquaza let up on his attack and reverted back into his normal form. "Phew... Mega Evolving... takes a lot out of me... I hope I don't have to do that again for a while... but... they'll be back. Strange, I didn't see Him with them this time... that slime probably hired mercenaries to come after me, must have been a pretty penny..."

He floated to the ground, curling up, and began to rest and wait for them to return.

[Sky Tower]

Back at the base of Sky Tower, the group emerged from nowhere in a bright light given off by the Escape Orb. Finally they caught their breath and tended to their wounds. Bisharp banged his bladed arm against a wall, leaving a scar. "We knew this would be hard, but I wish we'd known about the Mega Evolution sooner..." Machamp slumped down onto the ground. "How are we going to beat this guy?" Hippowdon just looked confused. "I don't think we can..." Then Beartic of all Pokemon spoke up. "We can fight fire with fire. Drago, you have the power to Mega Evolve, but I'm guessing you don't have a Mega Stone yet do you?"

The rest of them perked up. "He's got a point... and I've heard that nowadays you don't even NEED a Mega Stone to Mega Evolve. We just have to find one of those Awakening Emeras! We might have a chance!" Machamp still didn't look convinced. "The odds of finding one of those though... it just isn't in our favor." Hippowdon said nothing, just staring back up at the Sky Tower Summit.
Selena the Bayleaf and Ember the Quilava
[Folio Town - Outskirts]

@Ninian @Light Lord @MagusDream
Selena headed over to the Totodile's side. "Maybe not, but you do have amnesia, so you probably wouldn't remember." She said, looking over to Ember. "Guilds are pretty much organizations created by Pokemon in order to explore new lands and help Pokemon in need. For the most part, the Folio Guild doesn't do much exploration, they usually help out Pokemon in the area surrounding Folio, namely the giant desert out there." Ember replied, pointing out over the sandy stretches beyond the massive tree that cradled Folio.

Ember then waved everyone on. "Come on, it won't take us long to get there, a couple minutes to get back to Town Square, and half that to reach the Guild!" Selena smiled seeing Ember worked up about the Guild, in a good way that is. "You must really admire the Guild and the work they do." Ember slowed her pace for moment, turning her head. "My... dad was a part of the Guild, until he disappeared that is." She looked to Devon and Lilisette. "I haven't told you that story yet, I can tell you while we walk." She proceeded forward again, continuing to speak.

"I only know my dad from what my mom told me. He was one of the most powerful members of the Folio Guild. He pretty much led any exploration missions outside of Folio. A natural leader. Soon he started raving about a discovery, another Mystery Dungeon high above Folio Town. Only a few Pokemon believed him even a little, but one was brave enough to go with him to try and find it. Neither of them were ever seen or heard from again, and all they found was his Treasure Bag..."

By the time the story had ended, they were already back in Folio Town Square.

[Folio Town - Town Square]

Ember didn't waste any time looking around the square. She made sure everyone was still behind her, and headed uptown where the Guild resided.

[Folio Town - Glyph's Guild]

When they got there, the Guild was practically empty, as was the Request Board inside. A few Pokemon were leaving, but most of the Guild looked like they were out. "Guess they're really busy today..." Said Selena, cautiously looking around the Guild. She'd never actually been inside the Guild before, but Ember seemed to know right where to go. A staircase off to the side is where she went, not going all the way up, but standing at the base of the stairs. The door at the top was open. "Excuse me, Guildmaster Glyph? We need to speak to you!" She called up the stairs.

Breeze the Shaymin and Fuse the Luxio
[Folio Town - Folio Trunk Entrance]

@Ninian @Light Lord @Lucius Cypher
Breeze looked around unsuredly at the group. Someone obviously had to take the lead on this, someone qualified. "Well, who's taking point? I'd say someone with experience in the trunk should go first." She said, looking at Fuse. "I'm not one hundred percent the leadership type, I usually roll solo. But even I'm starting to see that the Trunk is getting way too dangerous for that now..." He looked over to Letho and Karaha. "Either of you going to take point? If not, I can try to..."
Brent Ignia and Lily Meadows
[New Amber Town - Outside Maple Pokemon Lab]

@Ninian @Light Lord
Well, it was clear that Celes needed some supplies. The disguised Zoroark with Celes on his shoulders, and Devon and his team, started heading back downtown. So, obviously, Brent and Lily followed, with Brent kind of running a bit ahead. "The PokeMart is just across the street from the Pokemon Center, it'll be easy to spot once we're there! I know the quickest way there too! Come on!" He said, taking off down a nearby alley. "Hey, wait up!" Yelled Lily, chasing after him.

[New Amber Town - Main Street]

After a few minutes, the two finally rounded the corner to the Pokemon Center. Brent pointed across the street to a dull white building with a blue roof. "That's the PokeMart, usually when there's a Pokemon Center in town, there's a place like this to get some supplies... you listening Lily?" No, she wasn't. Her eyes were caught on another sight, there seemed to be a heated battle going on, right on the Pokemon Center Battlefield. "Wow, they really look into that battle... and those are Johto Pokemon too!" She said, pulling out her new Pokedex. She held it up to the first Pokemon in battle. "Typhlosion, the Volcano Pokemon, and the final evolved form of Cyndaquil. Typhlosion obscures itself behind a shimmering heat haze that it creates using its intensely hot flames. This Pokémon creates blazing explosive blasts that burn everything to cinders." Then she held it up to the second Pokemon. "Espeon, the Sun Pokemon, and one of the evolved forms of Eevee. Espeon is extremely loyal to any Trainer it considers to be worthy. It is said that this Pokémon developed its precognitive powers to protect its Trainer from harm."

Following this, the two trainers were now focused on this battle. Typhlosion's Trainer called out. "Typhlosion, Flamethrower!" Espeon's trainer reacted. "Espeon, Psybeam!" The two attacks hit each other in mid air, creating a small explosion. "Keep up the attack, Flame Wheel!" Called out Typhlosion's Trainer, and out of the smoke came Typhlosion cloaked in a spinning wheel of fire. "Dodge it, quick! Then counter with Swift!" Called out the Espeon's Trainer.

The battle continued back and forth for several minutes, until finally both Pokemon seemed exhausted. "Alright, I think both of our Pokemon have hit their limit for today, you're pretty strong." Said Typhlosion's Trainer, walking onto the battlefield next to his Pokemon. Espeon's Trainer did the same. "Same to you, it was great battling with you. My name's Sakura by the way." She held out her hand in a handshake. "Mine's Jimmy, glad to meet you. I haven't had a battle that good in a long time!" The two looked around at the small crowd that had gathered. "Well, looks like we drew quite a crowd, Marina would have loved this." He said, scratching the back of his head.

"Wow, that was intense! To think Cyndaquil, you could be that strong someday..." He shook his head and looked over to Lily. "We kind of got sidetracked, didn't we? Well, guess we should get Celes her supplies, right?" He said, looking over his shoulder.
I was going to have Escape Orbs be not effective at all since it wasn't a dungeon, but because of this... I guess unstable is a... better term for now...
@Experiment 249 Your character is always welcome. But I will be revoking your Guardian then. Gotta add another onto the list now.
Breeze the Shaymin and Fuse the Luxio
[Folio Town - Folio Trunk Entrance]

@Ninian @Light Lord @Lucius Cypher
Fuse seemed quite insulted when Gren said Karaha was scared. "Gren, I'll tell you this much, I might not know Karaha that well, but I do know is that he's one of the bravest Pokemon I've ever met. He'll show, trust me." When he mentioned that it might be too late to save who he was after, Breeze stepped in. "Well, if you're meeting in the Trunk, whoever you're looking for probably knows how to handle themselves if they're in there alone. Me and you on the other hand..." Breeze had no clue what to expect down in the trunk, which kind of scared her a little, but not enough to show. Finally, Karaha arrived... with company.

"Letho, so you're heading down there too? Isn't five a little much? Could get a little... crowded." Said the Luxio, looking over to Karaha. "I didn't know you already had a spare Escape Orb, that'll come in handy. Oh, and Gren? The kid's just anxious to get down there, a little too anxious for my taste..." He said in a lower voice about Gren. "So, what can we expect down there?" Asked Breeze.

"I wish I could tell you, these days you'll find the most random things down there. Used to be just a few species of Pokemon lived down there, now I'm seeing Pokemon that make no sense in being in there..." He replied. Breeze scratched at her head. "So, we're basically going in blind. Best thing to do is stick together at all costs. Safety in numbers, right?"

Selena the Bayleaf and Ember the Quilava
[Folio Town - Hidden Grotto]

@Ninian @Light Lord @MagusDream
"You have one weird definition of adventure... and how can you not even make it back into town, there's ONE path that you can walk on to get back there, one branch actually..." Said the Quilava, starting to spark again from her back. She noticed this, and took a quick breath. Selena now poked her head out to the newcomers. "Yeah, we were about to head back, we have to head over to the Guild..." She started to say, then heard what the Togetic said happened to him. "Oh, you're not hurt are you? Mr. Pelipper has a strong beak, it's like hitting a brick I've heard."

Ember was just completely out of that conversation, focused on Lance. "Well, like they said, we were just about to head back to town. Come on, let's get over there quick. Who knows who might be watching..." Ember was very suspicious right now after hearing what happened to Devon. Since that Gardevoir couldn't finish the job, she might come back. She was super wary, giving off a few sparks ever now and again. Selena followed suit, making sure to keep a safe distance from the embers coming off of her. "Well, you look okay at least. You can follow us, I guess... but... you can see the town right there..." Selena pointed out, pointing with her foot towards Folio.
