A lack of forethought.

I don't know if you've noticed but I've managed to single handedly alienate basically everyone Sapphire has come in contact with except for Oswald and Emerald she's still interacting with people for who all intents and purposes don't like her. The fact that Jack as you say has no friends doesn't mean he can't interact with anyone. We've got a handful of characters that befriend pretty much anyone that comes into their line of sight. You've got Jack teammates who even if they're not "friends" with Jack should still be perfectly valid for interaction. Hell if you just placed Jack into a popular area like the mess hall and asked if anyone was free for interaction you would likely come up with a few possibilities. It's really easy to come up with excuses to not post but that doesn't change the fact that in order to stay part of an RP you have to actually RP.

Indeed, they don't have to be friends to interact, but even my attempts to interact were actually completely ignored, so I've stopped trying ages ago.

See that's just the problem, no matter your argument, the reason comes down to that I was simply IGNORED. At EVERY TURN.

@HereComesTheSnow I'm aware of this. There's little reason for Jack to be there, so that's fine.

@harinezumikouken It's so late it's awkward, but unless we advanced a day, Jack is actually still around the arcade in town.
At some point twenty characters is no different from forty so if a guy wants to join, let the guy join. It's not like you've got anything needing limited numbers, right? Besides, at least you have people who seem interested and willing.

Some RPGs don't even get players.

Also KNVS is still alive and Sho I messaged you on Skype what we wanted to do about the entire forest is on fire thing.

Edit: Like, a while ago. I sent a Skype message. I haven't sent one now because I'm trapped at school despite having graduated.

I think I had a response but forgot to put it in. We'd completed the mission by driving it off at least, it wasn't exactly a destroy mission I believe, so we can pull out?

So why don't you post IC? It's been a month since we've seen anything from you and that was a post for the senior team that got disbanded. Don't know how long it's been since we saw an actual Jack post.

Was I referred to in IC? Was there anywhere he could fit in in IC at this point? Honestly the problem is no one pays him and ultimately me any attention. Yes it sounds whingey and such, but that's just the truth of it. Everyone's gone off ages ago and created their friendship groups, but I was never even considered part of any of them, in fact I was ignored almost completely from the start.

Most people in my position would leave, but fortunately those aren't the main reasons I RP, I like nurturing a character's strength in combat quite a bit so that's why I'm still around.

The reason I'm not posting much? Well... That's because no one seems to want to include me in anything, so I go silent until a new mission begins.

Not to mention my last month has been quite busy, so I haven't had any time to read and try and find a place to insert myself, but considering how much I'm ignored anyways, I don't think it would've made much difference... Unless I put in insane time to do so, but I simply did not have have that for the last month.
I lurk, there just seems to be little reason for me to post here unless it's IC, so I spend more of my time on this RP in my team's skype. Reason is literally no one pays me any attention here whatsoever, I've asked questions too and they only get answered half the time.

Doesn't help that whole last month has been busy, so I couldn't spend much time to give this any attempt to catch up on.

So basically, I have been around, just not directly on this thread.

It became increasingly clear to Asher that this meathead wasn't used to being confronted, meaning, it would be easy to get under his skin. He relished the thought of crushing his confidence in even a fist fight, these types weren't difficult to read after all... But that was before. He wasn't some infamous troublemaker anymore, he was a member of the Brandt family, when he accepted their offer he told himself he'd change. In other words, there was something on the line here for him, so he shouldn't carelessly start a fight. Still despite that, he wasn't going to stand by and watch things unfold like a good boy, he was never such anyways.

The faunus named Venator was stepping in too now, to be honest he didn't like the look of this. One false move, this could just become an all-out brawl instead of just between two people with a disagreement. His anger had simmered, but it was still softly steaming, who was this Terrance thinking he could get away with actions and words like that, his parents must be sorely disappointed, or were trash themselves too.

"I can settle for that, a little manual labor would give this dumb oaf some character, but an apology to Cedar would do too. I suggest he grow a brain and realize it isn't little schoolies anymore. It's not so 'fun' if someone stands up to you huh? I guess you had to learn that at an embarrassingly late point in your life", his words were aimed at Terrance, he wasn't about to be unreasonable though, but he still wanted to speak his mind. Did this kid come from some rich family? He almost felt exactly like the big dumb jocks in those school dramas one of his sisters always watched, he almost didn't believe he'd actually meet one.
Indeed, Asher would prefer this didn't need a fight. It's a test of Asher's beliefs and enforcing it against Terrance and Silas' pride. He doesn't like seeing the little guy get trampled on. He's seen his fair share already.

I'll post later though, phone is a bit difficult.

That said, I think a neutral result with a teacher intervening is the best solution without undermining the characters present.
Sho is my name, the character is Asher.

@Shadow Daedalus so what say you?

I would normally drop these issues, but this actually undermines my character too much as he isn't identified as the asshole in this affair. Terrance is, and quite clearly from the get go. Plus this didn't get turned into a neutral, it went to favor Silas and Terrance.

Plus Venator is a Faunus, and was given academy or prison as his options. I'd say he should be pretty biased about this.
You can describe the feelings of characters as well as in description refer to what they have chosen to do.

I'm more or less upset everyone else ignored it as I expected Silas and Terrance to. Think about it, the request was perfectly reasonable to an outsider in this scuffle, but to Silas and Terrance they would honestly want to ignore it.
I feel like Asher's simple request was glazed over completely.

"Haaaah? I'm not about to use a proper class as an excuse to teach some child some respect", it was a common thing and something he almost expected, though somewhat unexpected to others, he seemed to be a code of some kind, still, a fight here would not be best, and as much as he relished the idea of beating his sorry ass at combat class, that wasn't what classes were for. He turned to Silas, the leader as it seems of this blonde haired twat.

"Tell you what, I'll drop this whole affair if you make him clean that mess up. I'm sure none of us want a fight here, but my request is simple... You keep him in line, or I'll gladly do it in your place", his tone was quieter, but still intense as he referred to Silas. This was a matter of discipline, and respect. His request was a test of this person's power and integrity as an authority. Asher wasn't an experienced leader himself, but he chose to do one thing above all else, and do what he thinks is right.
