@Sam12435 It'll be more sandbox, players are welcome to collaborate their own plots with one another, be it between characters, groups or factions or all inbetween. And eventually, these separate plotlines may merge into something interesting.

Ashes of Nabushan

It has been a millennium since the World of Nabushan fell upon the fires of judgment, and precious little remains of the world that was. We know now this event as The Burning Calamity, an truly terrible disaster that tore continents asunder and erased all we had accomplished, the world lay dead, glassed into oblivion. Many tell interpretations of what had led to the event, and precious few clues have been gleaned from the scattered remnants of the old world, but in the face of time it seems the knowledge of what led to the terrible reckoning of our past is all but lost. All that remains of the old world are the countless ruined cities, now consumed by the relentless sandstorms that roam the Great Wastes.

Memories have faded and tales have become distorted, but we know this as truth. Once the world of Naubshan was the beating heart a great Empire, spanning worlds just like our own. Once the very the stars above were ours to rule. Known simply as the Golden Age. Nabushan itself was once a prosperous, and lush world, filled with life. Ever since the Burning Calamity however, that once serene beauty is but a rare, miraculous sight, the world now covered in sand, stone and glass.

In the reborn world of Nabushan, Water has become a rare commodity in the Great Wastes, but is in great abundance in the few Oasis' that had survived and endured the passages of time, playing in part of the rise of city-states and communities along their shores.

The millennium passes, the Golden Age is far behind us now, and only hardship, conflict, games of dominance and desperation await us.

Welcome to Ashes of Nabushan! A Post-Apocalyptic RP set over a thousand years after a terrible disaster. A world of war, intrigue, adventure, and rediscovery! It's something I had been thinking on down for some months, piecing together little by little.

Various works of fiction have inspired this setting, from Dune, Mad Max, Rage, and to an extent, Star Wars(Desert Worlds like Tatooine, Geonosis Jakku, etc.). Although the Primary source of inspiration came from another rp with a very similar setting made by @Flagg(borrowing some elements form it).

Although this setting will generally have the worn-down, rough, and rustic look for most of the time, the Oasis States are far from it. The City-States and Communities that had the fortune of setting up around the these inland seas have the best quality of life, almost resembling Pre-Calamity Society, mostly free of the hardships of the Great Wastes.

This rp will be unique type of rp, where players will have the option of playing as a lone character, a small cast of them, or a full on faction(be it some nomadic tribe, mercenary company, raiders, a city-state, a wastelander community, etc, the possibilites are endless!)

Era of Strained Détente

Regarding that subject..I regret to inform everyone that the rp will cease operations so to speak. In my absence, I have have unfortunately had slowly been losing interest in my own rp. I am so very sorry to everyone that had been waiting on me, I feel embarrassed honestly. But, I just feel no drive.

Although, this does not mean I'm done rping, if the above has giving such an impression. I will still rp, but, I'm taking a micro-break of sorts to work on a new rp project.
