My Very Brief Bio

Male, 31 years old. (So I'm practically dead, as we speak.)

Likes (other than writing and roleplaying): I'm into all genres of music. I love to cook. I love the outdoors, and walking through the park near my house. (Yes, really.) I read a lot of thriller/mystery novels. And I usually watch seasonal anime. (Or cooking shows. Because Western Media provides even fewer things that are worth watching.)

But as for my many other neglected hobbies, I've played basically every sport. (Soccer and Bowling being my favorite of the bunch.) And I'm trying to play more video games. (Going through my never-ending Steam library.) Plus, I've dabbled in making electronic & metal music, and I used to play a number of instruments. (Guitar, French Horn, etc.)

Hope you have a wonderful day!

@The Harbinger of Ferocity I don't wish to turn a sh*tpost/joke into a serious question. But was this really just FBI incompetence? Was the FBI too focused on other matters and cleaning up its own scandals to actually be effective?

At this point, I'm not even sure if it is an individual problem. We clearly don't punish people enough, even if violent/gun crime is still decreasing. Since so many shooters have serious mental health issues. I'm starting to worry about this being a drug related problem. We already know, more guns doesn't equal more violent crime. And maybe not all mass shooters had severe mental illness...but there must be something else to it.

Also, I think armed security at schools would at least cut down on number of casualties, because guns according to the FBI save more lives than they take. Up to 3 million lives. But I'm not sure if that will automatically deter psycho's either. Otherwise, suicide by cop wouldn't exist. So maybe if someone wants to have a real debate on real solutions, we can talk about those. (Or we can, since I know we can talk about this sensibly.)

But, instead we have liars pushing AR = assault rifle, there was 18 shootings (when there wasn't), people lying about not wanting to take guns away and now we have the NYtimes and everyone else mentioning repealing the 2nd amendment and talking about AUS. Because otherwise we can't have an honest discussion, do you want control to ban scary looking armitage rifle's. We have 5 million to 10 million currently private hands, what do we do about those? Something the unhonest, cannot and will not answer. I digress.
There's not a single thing I could say about the gun debate, that I haven't already said. But if the smartest arguments are "oh look another one" and "handing guns out like candy". I feel like responding is a legit waste of everyone's time.

But, not that it should matter to condemn terrible actions and come to together as Americas to mourn lives lost. But the local authorities/sheriff said he wasn't apart of a supremacist group at all...

What we do know, is the FBI knew about him ahead of time, several times, despite supposedly having no criminal record and nothing was done about him. That and the mental health of this kid was clearly unwell, he abused animals among other things. The only thing I want answered that hasn't been, is did he purchase this gun legally and if so, where? Or more likely, did he steal this gun from his folks or obtain it illegally and if so, where?
@AcetheKidd A title is indeed something one needs. :P
@AcetheKidd I'm fine with either. Meant nothing particular by it. I've just been trying to focus on more solo writing, personally. But I've been shit at doing so, so I figured I'd hop in something to help me get into the flow of writing. Plus, digimon is just something I've had a random growing interest in. So it wouldn't be hard for me to create/plan something.
If you're struggling to find interest, I can throw a bone of interest. If it's low casual, it probably won't be to challenging to keep up with.
@KatherinWinter He's telling the stranger they have no time to mess around, and is telling Elizabeth to head inside.
@KatherinWinter Inside the wagon. Mind this is a larger wagon that uses two horses and it has an interior
One other option, is creating two collab stories together that mesh together cohesively in some way. Maybe a two part story, or two different perspectives of a relationship. That could lead to many possibilities. Pairs of two, create a story of their own and then the take turns to edit and offer advice for improvement. In that way, no one feels like they not pulling their weight or contributing enough to the story itself. And gives well needed skills to give and receive critique. Also it would allow another smaller word count and still give a little more substance.

And yes, the rules need to be more precise. On the premise, wordcount and whatever else may be applied. So 2/3rd's of people don't completely disregard them and ironically those that followed the guidelines probably 'suffered' for it.
The waterfall roared, erupting once again from the mountain. Bastian stepped out from behind the wagon. Dressed in flowing white, hood over his head and hiding the necklace around his neck. Standing in front of Elizabeth, carrying his sword’s hilt in his right paw. His posture was like a brick wall, holding the blade like a shield for his chest. He stared down the beastkind. If piercing eyes could draw blood, the stranger would already be dead.

“I beg your pardon, but we’re in a hurry and cannot dawdle any further. Please head inside.” Bastian said once the waterfall ceased. His tone docile as the waves rippling from another the school of fish. His ears twitching from the subtlest sounds coming from his surroundings. Hearing several birds descending from the tree branches, to pick at the worms squirming through the dirt. Bastian waited for their response before reacting, like the black cat crouched down inside the nearest bush. Its wide eyes twinkling, back-end swaying back and forth. Getting ready to pounce on its negligent meals, once they wandered just a bit closer...

“Why is someone else here? Why’d they transport us here, if the area wasn’t secluded and rarely occupied? Otherwise, someone could have found our wagon first. Assuming that was the purpose, I suppose we’re located near a body of clean water. Beastkind do seem to have better senses in that regard...it could still be a coincidence.” He thought.
Assuming I'm reading the question correctly...

The most satisfying things I've probably created were my more or less recent novels, because one helped me get out of a terrible writer's block and the other was the longest piece of fiction I've wrote. Both were enjoyed by my friends who read them, so that was some extra goodness. It's usually quite difficult to get me to even finish projects and spend time on them, as I did with these. And though I've made many songs and finished RP's. I just feel like I got more personal fulfillment getting my solo writing work done.

Question: What is your personal favorite type of character to roleplay/write about?
